You need to assign your preset to the proper group.

 

Select something where you can select your preset, press the "Save as" button and select the DeviousDevices group. Still strange, tho...i have a couple of presets installed from the nexus and they all showed up for DD right away.

 

 

I did and it seemed to work. I just thought that maybe this is a problem on the side of the mod, in which case kimy might be interested in knowing it, or maybe it isn't, and she can just leave it at that. Thanks for the info ;-)

Yes! I found the source of the corset unequip problem and a discovered a way to fix it if you have the Creation Kit installed.

 

To fix the Black Latex Corset do the following:

1. Open the Creation Kit and open the Devious Devices.esm file.

2. Find and open Item: DD_Harness_Corset_Latex_Black_Inventory

3. On the right side of the window highlight the script (starts with DD:DD) and click on the "Properties" button.

4. Select the "DeviceMessage" property and change the value from "DD_Device_HarnessMSG" to "DD_Device_SuitMSG"

5. Save your change and do this for each Corset you want to fix.

 

It is not clear if the Corset is meant to be a harness or a suit but the rendered corset items are key-worded as suit so it needs the SuitMSG to work.

Let me add another request for a bug tracker. Otherwise bugs and fixes like the one turned up by SirCrazy are likely to get lost or forgotten.

Thank you a lot! I will implement this into my "Hey-I-fuck-up-stuff" private patch right away. Another thing might be to change the keyword from suit to harness.

I fixed that bug in my development build already. That I do not reply to each and every post out there doesn't mean that I don't read them, just that there are a LOT of posts in my support threads. :D

​Slot 56. A good way to check it for yourself is to open the mod up in tes5edit, go to the armor addon section and look for the item. It'll show you the equip slot it takes:

​Oh shit, sorry I just realised I said tes5edit (too used to skyrim modding). But fundamentally its the same as fo4edit, what I meant was fo4edit haha. But yea if you need to make small little edits, I would absolutely recommend to use fo4edit to do the tweaks as the CK is quite a buggy messy piece of crap which could end up inadvertently changing something you didn't intend to. Very useful piece of modding tool that any modder should get familiar with :)

I've been at this for about 3-5 hours give or take. I've finally gotten all the stuff to show up and menus to working but..

 

When I equip something like armbinder etc it won't show the animation. Everything just gets my character stuck in a fighting position but I'm not able to attack.

I'm not sure which mod the problem is with, the other mod has animations but shouldn't this mod be the one to automatically make the character use them when an item is equipped?

had same issue and was fresh install of this mod. however patch worked after..

exitsave game..disable mod..load exitsave..wait hour or 2..exitsave again..activate mod.

 

fooled around abit with things and noticed some outfits had massive clippin on ankle area this could be my fuckup on batchbuilding em on Bslide

equippin the body stuff like harnesse's/corset's to settlers is kinda pain since no manual equip key and they tend to go under the vanilla crapoutfits.

 

otherwise nice work on the mod

 

found wierd shit happens on sneakmode dunno is that players boob,nip or arm that blocks the view at 1st person mode this happens on all tested outfits.

theres 2 screens

 

Just reinstalled FO4 and also noticed this bug. Is it still actually there or did I miss something?

 

EDIT: I mean the last one which happens in the sneak mode, hiding the view (pictures in post #33).

I've been at this for about 3-5 hours give or take. I've finally gotten all the stuff to show up and menus to working but..

Update:

For some reason. I kept playing for hours after making this post, did not change a SINGLE thing in load order, didn't reinstall/uninstall, nothing. Did not even quit the game and come back to it.

 

Everything started working out of nowhere, and hasn't stopped working.

I have no idea why, but I'm not complaining I guess.

So far after playing though I have a few suggestions for improvements/additions to the mod.

 

More gag talk: More options to give and more things to do, more interaction between player and NPC. Maybe some gag talk when speaking another wastelander that is gagged? Definitely need an option to ungag them, some options while restrained/others are restrained. Some interesting options that don't just lead to "oh you want me to fuck you alright" that possibly start a quest line or two.

More Tape!: This is the first mod that's had a really good looking tape gag, or tape at all considering it went against Skyrim's lore. I'd REALLY like to see more, tape bindings in form of cuffs/armbinder, or a hobble dress of sorts that's tape mummification? Maybe different types of tape gags as well, wrap-around, X tape, a larger tape gag.

More movements: Squirming/worming on the ground doesn't sound like an intense animation, especially not for things like the hobble dress or restraint dress. Maybe kneeling and hogtie poses with some or little movement?

 

Use for the tape rolls: Just for the effect of realism. A couple of ways to do it would be something like... 
1 Tape roll = 30 tape gags or 10 mummifications, something to that extent.
Using them as items, when you activate it while it's sitting on the ground or somewhere it will ask if you want to rip a strip off for a gag? It could be a gag dispenser, seems a little odd you're paying so many caps for a single strip :P

Either edit the pre-existing asset or just copy the model and do something like that would make the ideas work?


More interaction in general: 
Settlers: 
Could possibly take over the settlement sort of, making sure you stay bound and gagged until you can find a way to escape. Passing you between settler to settler for the time being.
Enemies: 
Stop firing after seeing you're bound and gagged and kidnap you. Maybe something similar to Skyrim's bandits where you had to stay within a radius? Over time it could spawn a key. 
To be even more specific maybe a small yet simple line of if you didn't get free in time you would be transported elsewhere like a slave-trade, before finally being taken off to a new settlement area that's like a prison with other NPC captives.
Non settler NPC: 
Random outcome, release you, keep you, sell you to bandits, sell you back to your own settlement, maybe give you to a random faction? Bringing factions into this would make it very complex though.

The last one isn't really an idea or suggestion but kind of something to think about?

I've been building my settlements to house different things in terms of "cells" and similar rooms. One has a conveyor belt that carries the player all the way around before dropping them inside the cell, with two guard posts right outside each window for conversations to trigger with settlers. I'm sure something can be taken from that? Some small or minor quest-line where you become the player becomes a slave to her own settlement, or that settlers can add or remove restraints at certain times of day with some kind of item that can control behavior similarly?

Personally I'd like to see a pair of vibrating panties added. That way I can wear it under outfits. The vibrators stick through which looks weird. It would be even better if I had the remote and could use it to stimulate others wearing it whenever I want.

There are no plans to add full support for male characters. Some of the items come with male versions, in which case I added them. But most do not.

Is there a way to handcuff an NPC without her taking her clothes off? I mainly want to restrain intimidated NPCs so I can walk them to my settlements and make them regret ever attacking me.

 

Sorry if this has been asked before - I did try several searches before posting.

 

Needless to say, awesome mod. I was actually only interested in the non-adult aspect of restraints, but I must confess I had more fun than I was planning to as I watched my gagged, bound companion hop around. :D

Been using this for ages now, made survival play through's fun but i would say that things like vibrators shouldn't have a lock or something on them since there is nothing stopping them from being taken out, unless a chastity belt is worn which i could understand but without it what would stop me taking it out, and as well as that the amount the plug stimulates is ludicrous, seems the thing never turns off, how shooting with that going is beyond me...

The Skyrim version allows vibes to be removed without needing a key. Probabbably just a case of not having things completely ported / converted over to Fallout 4's engine yet.
