I have never looked at AE. The changes it does to the vanilla game are too radical for my taste (it forces every single armor mod to make a compatibility patch to work with it...). Tbh, adapting DD to use its slot system would require changing a large number of DD items and result in me having to permanently maintain two versions of the ESP. I am not particularly keen on doing that.

I understand the issue.... though I would assume many people who use mods already are using Stuff like AE.... it at least would explain why I have a bugging out Pipboy when I attempt to equip a few things on myself without being able to get it back...

I was afraid that was the case.

 

AE is a very nice mod, allowing things like using gas masks with hats, adding ballistic weave to all clothes and generally shaping up the slots system. I started my original game with it and playing without it is a pain. It is one of those mods that become easily essential, when you get used to the idea of working with your armor and clothing by it's rules.

 

Armors in Nexus seem to be mostly covered, seeing how popular the mod is. I haven't had a single case where I would have been left wanting. AE uses AWKCR as a master, which already makes things easier.

 

I was not actually asking for you to make a patch for AE. I was wondering if the process of patching DD items for it is complex, or just time consuming.

 

If it is just tedious value swapping, then I might find time to do that. My RL brainstorming needs breaks. I would first need to figure out what to do though.

 

If it is complex, then I have to drop it. RL is a bit hectic. Lines and words are already jumping out of my display and books. I just placed an used coffee filter to refrigerator, because I was too deep in thoughts this morning. I found it three hours later and decided it wasn't suitable for a snack. tongue.png

It's mostly tedious value swapping. If, just hypothetically, we had a full-blown script extender, it would be possible to make the necessary changes on the fly even.

Are you using a custom race? If not, it might be that I forgot to allow some vanilla races for some items.

In version 1.3, by fixing the corset keywords, was that meant to fix not being able to take them off?

 

After updating I still have only the option to "put it on" after its already been equipped.

 

Could it be AE screwing this up?

The NPC code seems to be a bit wonky. When I wrote it I had very little chance to test it, so it seems it needs a bugfix pass or two. :D

Potentially, but not sure. I don't have AE in my load order, so I have no clue how DD would behave with it installed. I will have a look at the corsets once more. Could be that my attempt to fix it broke something else. :D

Do you have an idea in mind for what slots to use for each type of device? I'm sure one of us will get around to making ourselves an AE patch eventually, and we could potentially post it here.

Did you install the Torture Devices mod? All the animations for the devices come from it.

Hello. may I ask how to adjust the device difficulty? Like if I wanna make a version that doesnt require keys to unlock or wait hours before making another attempt?

Create a new mod, add DD as dependency, clone any device you want to change, give it a new name and FormID, and just change the properties to your liking. They are documented in the source code (DD_Library.psc)

I like those boots the way they are hollow at back is cool.

Can you make the boots/gloves etc separate items so they can be mixed with other DD stuff?

Peaches met Kimy in the memory den, and bought several things.

Anyway, skip forward 10 minutes

and fully-gagged Peaches is able to still converse with Dr. Amari (thank goodness!)

But when she enters that memory pod, it just sits there saying

"please stand by".

I'm hoping that this was an unrelated coincidence, and I needed to check my mail anyway.

That pink bikini dress is to die for.

I don't know if you remember but way back, many days ago, I wrote that I hoped you could give at least some

protective capabilities to your dresses, etc.

Fire, physical, electrical, energy, Radiation.

I wrote this with the wrong browser. I'm repeating lines 4-5, Memory den pod just sits there, I hope t's unrelated.

 

edit:

The portal pod worked fine and Player started moaning (because of the strict gag).

The little script in the remembered-vault had a slight pause, where Kellog is supposed to shoot but just stands there while the

Nurse struggles with the husband.

  Then suddenly Player started to moan her gagged-moan, and everything proceeded normally.

So, maybe it's tied to a moaning event? (Not that I would know)

Body, boots, gloves and everything thats color inverted are different objects.

I'm also having the problem where gagged moans cause the game to stop playing audio altogether for a few seconds.  The moan plays then the audio cuts out, after a few seconds all the audio plays.  Not sure why.  The non-gagged (vibrator) moans don't have the issue.

I haven't noticed that issue, but I generally have to avoid gags because I'm running into a bug where having a gag and vibrator equipped at the same time causes my system to lock up so badly I have to hard reboot less than a minute later. Best guess is that the gagged sound and gagged vibrator sounds try playing simultaneously, resulting in a ... really bad conflict of some sort. Any suggestions on how to provide additional debug info are welcome.

 

On a more positive note, the periodic struggle animation while handcuffed is a nice addition to 1.3!

I finally got around to testing this, was busy troubleshooting a bug for another mod.

 

Its not AE causing this for me. I loaded a save just prior to leaving the vault with only the required mods installed...CBBE, TD, DCW, and Armor Keywords. I used console to add several different corsets to my inventory and none of them could be unequipped after I equipped them.

 

I do remember that in ver1.2 there was 1 corset that I could un-equip. I think it was either the White Leather or White Latex I don't remember and I don't have an old 1.2 ver anymore.
