What quest makes Piper a Breeder?  I'd like to know and how to start it cause I want to finish it before I go meet Hermes the Deathclaw.  And can Hermes impregnate my PC as part of the quest?

The Pied Piper, IIRC. To start it, you'll have to recruit Piper, then dismiss her. After a week or so, Diamond City security will comment on her being absent, kickstarting the quest.

I have a problems with "Family affairs" (BBM05) quest.

 

After Mathew talked with Jean Luna appeared and THEN AAF sex scene started. They both talked with Luna just during sex, I don't know is it correct. Then Luna walked to the church, scene with bloatflies started but then all was stalled. I tried to return to Sunshine and Jean and Mathew were still fucking.

 

So I reloaded a save and started the whole quest again. After sex scene between Mathew and Jean started I manually stopped it using AAF UI. Then we walked to the church with Luna, but all ended the same way as the first time. The only difference - Jean, Mathew and a dog stayed near the church, but didn't enter inside.

 

Can anyone help me, please? What should I do?

I've really been enjoying the mod so far. Are there ways to support its ongoing development or a discord server to discuss future content? I've found older discord links of yours but all of them seem to be expired when I try to use them.

Right, the Discord is still up. As for support, haven't really had the time or motivation to add new content (yet), but I'm definitely planning on keeping up the support

Well, still running into problems, first I got two versions of Rothiar's blade, but only one with the modification and legendary effect, the other one is just a renamed machate, so no big deal, the second is the persistent problem with "the pied Piper". Talnking DC Security will never start the quest. This is basically the fifth attempt for getting it to start. I don't think I have any mods that sould interact with piper tho she does wear a costum head piece (the only mod that might cange anything is the Nat Companion). Any tips?

The second part may require a bit of work. (and I have no idea if this works, I haven't tested it yet) (the hardness depends greatly on what mods you have)

 

download and run FO4Edit

select all of your mods in FO4Edit and let it load.

search for formID BBD96  EditorID COMPiper

scroll down COMPiper till you see BBM:BBM12TimerScript (it might be coloured red which is overridden)

the easiest way to fix this problem is to right click on the columm title so Boston Breeder.esp and select "copy as override into..." and make a new file with that data

the harder way is to drag the data to last mod with that formID (this is a lot harder to explain without pictures) because there are mods like Unoffical fallout 4 Patch

okay, so I found the BBM:BBM12TimerScript however I am unsure on what to do next (never used FO4Edit before). Mind explaining what "make a new file with that data" means?

Also, if necessary we can work over discord. Sorry for taking up a lot of time but this is very much one of my favourite modding series, I guess you can say and I want to get this fixed.

You don't, it outright captures you and you'll have to escape it. I'm currently playing through the game again with an up-to-date AAF, so I should be running into that quest soon.

Hm, it doesn't work for me then. The deathclaw just stops at the bottom of the hill by the house and is doing it's idle animations. Will try updating AAF.

 

EDIT: updating AAF didn't work either, all I get now is a message right up "AAF 80%". Can't interact with the 'claw.

 

EDIT #2: need to specify I'm talking about the BBM02 quest, Lurking in the dark, not the BBC01.

Oooooh, that one. Yeah, that has a simple dialogue option if your Sole Survivor is female. Alternatively (and more reliable in my experience) offering up a Breeder companion (such as Jade or April) is a surefire way.

I guess I need to trick one of them to come with me then. xD

I tried forcing quest stages with console, but upon forcing finding the Deathclaw (30, that stage won't even complete by itself no matter how long I stand in front of him or try to E him) I get the option to either attack (stage 40 iirc) or talk. None of the quest stages, not even stage 50, will give me completion of the stage for talking. Forcing that stage complete, then the same issue happens with the stingwing.

 

So, I'm guessing I have a conflict somewhere if I should get normal dialog upon pressing E on the deathclaw or stingwing. The mods I have are either AAF mods and animations, DD, Joey's Advanced Needs 2, weapon mods, clothes, armor, texture, settlement power, Horizon overhaul. The only thing that really jump at me that would have anything to do with dialog is Beggar whore that I installed recently, but even if I disable all it's options in the menu I can't interact with the claw or reaper. Gonna try to disable esp if it helps.

 

Btw., for BBC01 quest, is completing BBM02 a requirement to start it? "BBC01 - Enter The Lair: Started by approaching the Deathclaw south of the Scrap Palace, or by hearing the rumor."--- sounds like it's about the same Claw. Rumors from anyone or just specific people?

 

EDIT: removing Beggar whore achieved nothing. I simply can't interact with the deathclaw.

How do I trigger and finish "Hide or Face Hermes" in the In the Lair quest? My Sole Survivor was abducted and taken to the lair and every time she goes near Hermes she gets the dialogue to accept sex, stand still or try to run or be fed deathclaw jizz. Each one triggers AAF sex and I use END each time because the sex doesnt end on it's own. So far Hermes has had sex with my character but havent advanced past the hide or face Hermes part. Help?

Allo! I've been using breeders for a while now, and I've thoroughly enjoyed it! The fact you've even included otherwise obscure bits such as the pull tabs from fallout tactics really put a smile on my face! 

 

Although this really isnt only for praise, sadly I've run into a tiny bug in the hornet quest line! ***SPOILERS AHEAD!*** Or rather... the end of it. After finishing it, I should have been able to recruit April as a companion! (I assume...) well I went though the usual, talked to her and such, and when the time came when she asked if she wanted to follow? I said yes! Happy. I went in my way. Until two days later (real days) I was noticing the distinct lack of a certain hornet member following me... (dunno how I didn't notice her now with me...) 

 

Returning to the bunker and being unable to find her. I teleported to her location to find her at the red rocket! The location where I sent her former instances when she "removed" her power armor. But when attempting to talk to her, she simply states her recruitment line, the whole "making commonwealth great again" thing, wishing enguaging conversation, I can't even seem to move her to a new settlement! Any suggestions would help with this problem if you have the time, and sorry for the bother!

I hit Cait's quest and reached the point where she is doing things with Jade to get infected... that's when all hell broke loose and I honestly am not sure what to do.  Thankfully I have a savegame, just in case, but I've slept for like 3 days and the quest isn't done. The wiki doesn't say a time frame and this seems like too much time.

 

Then I went to defend a settlement, thinking 'okay, assume a couple days' and then came back and Cait was gone.  I was like "Okay, maybe this is the trigger" and locate her on the map of Diamond City.  I walk outside and it flashes by me, and I'm like "The hell...?" and then I walk around a bit near the entrance where it is, and going "What is happening?  Why would she be ouoOOOOHMYGOD!"  Lo and behold as I look up to see a naked Cait fucking nothing in mid-air 100 feet above the city.  I spent a little while trying to figure out the moveto command which some reason I couldn't figure out, and then out of sheer desperation I fired my exploding round double barreled shotgun at her like some ridiculous reverse-Irish duck hunt and thankfully she launched from her self-inflicted possessed sexual deviance and plummeted to the streets below like a graceful Irish swan culminating in a faceplant of breast-shaking proportions. 

 

Now she's still mid-quest yet following me around now nude without clothing, which is... fine? But I can't progress the quest and I'm too nervous to proceed.  The wiki doesn't have quest IDs so I can't setstage on it because sqt is bringing up a list I can't interpret and doesn't seem the quest has an obvious name.

 

tl;dr - Please help clarify time frames on these stages of her quest and if 3 days is too long, what should I do?  And if possible what is the quest ID so I can force it to the next stage please?

I had to use GetStage and SetStage in the console for parts of her quest.  But Cait herself tells you for parts of it to " come back in a week ", the jade scene i had to setstage myself

Do you happen to know how you found out which quest it was so I can identify it?  That's my main issue currently.  I reverted to a previous save so I could play today and wait for that one.  If it's a week then I'll just get/setstage it to completion because that's just too long, I'll be done with the game by then.  I don't like the idea of having to just sleep for days on end waiting.

here is the quest ID XX0645F9 - XX is your location of Boston Breeders.esp with an image of the stage numbers

 

btw after reading some of this thread, I decided to add the ID number to the end of each quest name so I don't have to find it again and again

Thank you, just so I understand fully, what do you mean by my location of the esb exactly?  I'm not quite sure I follow what location is being called for by those two numbers.  May I request a bit more detail if possible?

either look for Boston Breeder.esp in your mod manager and note the HEX number it gives you (in MY LOAD ORDER it is 33(NOT YOURS))

otherwise find an object or NPC in the game such as Jade for example and click on her in the console and note the first two numbers

That's what I thought you meant but wasn't sure because some people have over 100 mods, then shortly after I realized that's why hex includes letters  My mistake, but thank you for clarifying just to be sure.

First page, Mod topic Pepertje lists the quests in a spoiler.  Caits is BBM10.   In console you do      

GetStage BBM10

if it says BBM10 40  and you need to advance it you do 

SetStage BBM10 50

Thats what I had to do during the later part when she is in the captured animation

Well, I tried them and sadly now Cait is stuck in a non-follow state endlessly spanking Jade and won't respond to any attempts to talk to her.  I tried leaving the building to do the setstage and enter and no change there.  This quest isn't worth the hassle at this stage.  Thanks for the info.
