For example, if someone catches you cheating and they blackmail you, is that a one time event or will they be able to approach the player afterwards again? I'd imagine several NPCs would love to have some kind of leverage above the PC and I can't imagine they'd just let the PC off the hook if they comply once. I think it would be rather neat to try to avoid NPCs that have tried to blackmail you in towns because you don't want to deal with them again.

I haven't fleshed out the blackmailing quest yet, but I had the idea to make a random chance for the NPC to drop the blackmail everytime the player does what he asked (that might not always be sex, sometimes gold, gems or even to kill someone (i guess I'll start simple and add more over time) ). But I want to give multiple options to solve the quest, like killing or intimidating the blackmailer, telling the guards (you might to be friends with on of them or thane), or confessing to your boy- or girlfriend (this might result in very diffrent reactions, your partner might break up, forgive you, shame you or even tell you that you deserve to be blackmailed, all depenting on the partner personality and traits). So this quest, like all special scenes, will be rather complex and will add special dialogue options for other NPCs. But they will take some time, the next update will only focus on the generic dialogue tree and everyting connected with that. Once that works I'll make the actual relationship quest (including moving in togehter, in-relationship dialogue, going on adventures together, the partner getting into jail or inviting guests over, ect.) so you can get a partner and after that everything else will follow. But it's good that you mention the idea of avoiding a NPC. I like the idea and have to make that possible inside the code, otherwise the NPC would always find the player without the possebility to hide. 3

If it's going to have some gameplay effects (arousal gains/losses, different reactions to npc dialogues), then probably yes. Otherwise, it seems better to leave it to the player to decide how their character reacts to certain situations. That's what dialog options are for after all. I would advice you to not overcomplicate the system and only add things that are necessary for it to work as intended, but you do you.

That would be pretty cool. A few suggestions; something like "happy - less likely to get upset from perverted comments from NPCs, more likely to cheer NPCs she/he talks to (assuming the mood system extends to NPCs)", "sad - very likely to get upset from seduction attempts (or maybe just remove sex related dialogue tree period when your character has this mood)", "upset - likely to also upset other people when trying to talk to them, making them not talk to her/him for X hours (or something like that), unable to seduce or be seduced)", and "angry - character is a lot more likely to upset other NPC, and has a chance to offend someone SO BADLY they call the guard on you (just kidding, or maybe not, who knows lol)". Maybe even make your character emote. For instance, if it reaches the "sad" mood, it has a chance to start playing a 'crying' animation (while not in combat or when there are no enemies nearby). Something as simple as increasing or decreasing stats (speechcraft, sneak, etc.) is fine too, but there are so many mods out there that do exactly this that it'd kinda make it redundant, in my opinion.

Honestly I think most people would be happy with the basic functionality of the mod before new things are added. New additions are always welcome but I fear that over-ambition is what kills a lot of modders' drives.

I think usually players prefer to control their own character "emotions" rather than let the game do it, but it could be a good optional system.

I realized that I have enough work on my hands already and I want to finish the basic mod first and then add on over time. I am making good progress and started to put in the final dialogue. To everyone who did some proofreading a few posts ago, I could use all corrected versions now. And thanks for helping me out! ? If she is seen wearing fetish stuff, like pony girl gear from SLUTS that could also be something to negatively affect her and for NPCs to dislike her - if she pretends to be ponygirl then she would be assumed to play mare in other ways as well... PC forced to actually do that as kind of humiliation. Traders refusing to trade with her if she's got a bad reputation or demanding demeaning stuff before they do trade. I didn't think of arresting or chasing away, but I like the sound of it^^ Fetish stuff is not integrated. There is an option to flag body-slot outfits as "prude", "reavealing", "slutty" or "naked". That in return affects NPC arousal during dialogue. If you install the new version on top of the old one, even with a clean save, I expect conflicts. But it will still take at least two weeks. The Future Plans have already been expanded by some points. I still want to make a full list, but it became so much by now that I'll have to take a close look at everyting to write it together. But the complete plans will come in three parts. The next update will only contain the main RDS dialogue (which is the main and only feature of the current version). No worries. :) I tested it briefly and saw it had no real dialogues at first glance, so I'll definitely wait for new version which sounds amazing btw.

Basically yes, but the next update will be one of three planned updates, that will take some weeks until all are released. And then there will be very likely some addtional bugfixes and patches. So you can still use the currend version for some time and then restart once the new version it completely finished.

I do really like this mod by the way, its just diffrent from the others. Do you have plans to have dialogue options for diffrent postions depending on an npcs mood like NPC in the the mood for a bj or "wants to plow your ass" maybe some become more agressive if you decline their propsals. Im really looking foward to your next update, I know life is busy ?

You could try to play around with your SexLab gender, but apart from that I'm clueless. I set up all of my own reputation functions already, so I will stick with them for the most recent update. But I'll consider it for the future, if I think it adds some value.

Guffel Posted October 14, 2019 Author Posted October 14, 2019 Hello everyone, today is the day, the new update is ready! I checked all features and everything seems to work so far. The dialogue will propably need some more finetuning and balancing, but that needs some long-term testing. Features: the dialogue now are fully formulated line with variations for each personality personalities are now distributes by voice type and will fit the NPC better the player now has a reputation in each hold which decreases when spotted naked or having sex or when firting too much. [as of now, NPC won't react to the players reputation, but it will serve as gound-work for the future] NPCs can friendzone the player, which blocks any sexual outcomes NPCs and the player can now form relationships (requires affection of 60+) [not used by now] I will take a break now and play around with it for the next two weeks and see if it fully works as intended. If you want to help me out report any bugs and screenshots of typos or bad grammer so I can fix them when I start working on further updates. Known Issue: I encountered one problem I can't explain. Sometimes the dialogue just stops like when you press tab. It seems to happen at random and once it happened it will persist with that specific NPC. I checked everything and can't find the cause and I'm not even sure if it's a problem with RDS or the skyrim engine. That's why I released this version as beta. 8
