Relationship Dialogue System Summary: RDS adds the following features to the game: The generic dialogue minigame: A dialogue for all NPC that allows for small-talk, flirting, bullying and more. [done] Contextual approaches from NPC to invite the player to drink, shame them as a whore, try a pick-up line or blackmail the payer who has cheated on their spouse and more. [done] A reputation system that tracks the players sexual partners and how often they are seen naked or have sex in public. NPCs will then change their behavior based on the players purity or whore-status. [done] Form a relationship and even move in together with your partner. Have one sweetheart in every hold, but make sure they never hear from each other. Get love-letters when your partner is traveling. [done] Description: I. Generic Dialouge: The generic dialogue “minigame” can either be started by talking to any NPC using the line “Hello, are you free to chat?” or by NPCs approaching. Then you can choose out of a total of 21 options to manipulate the conversation. The first 16 options can be used to move the dialogue into a specific direction. This should be very intuitive, and the NPC will react in a realistic fashion. When you are friendly or funny you will form a friendship. If you’re flirty you’ll go more into the direction of sex. If you’re mean the NPC will get angry or offended. The main purpose of this dialogue is to give you the ability to roleplay your character as you imagine it. For that, you can set your characters overarching behavior in the MCM. Secondary it serves to trigger sex animations, brawling, friends-with-benefits and relationships. The course of the dialogue is achieved by changing the NPCs arousal and affection points. The latter is a value between -100 and 100 used by RDS to measure how much the NPC likes you and they will be more friendly or angry, accordingly. With each dialogue option used these values are adjusted. Additionally the NPC will change these values depending on their personalities and traits. After the dialogue ends the NPCs vanilla relationship rank is adjusted according to its new affection value. At the beginning of the dialogue you’ll receive a notification about whether the NPC is attracted to you based on their sexuality. After that, every other turn a notification will display how the NPC feels. You can use this to move the dialogue into the direction you want. The reputation is reduced for the following cases: A NPC can see the player naked (doesn’t count for sex partners) A NPC can see the player having sex (doesn’t count for the sex partners) A NPC has no LOS, but is within 3 meters of the player having sex (means it can hear the player) The number of different sex-partners (multiple times with one partner don’t stack) One reduced the reputation doesn’t recover again. But the reputation loss is saved per NPC and therefor the only way to regain reputation is to kill of the witnesses. Additionally, sex witnesses can spot the player cheat on their spouse if the players partner lives in the same hold. Based on the reputation and the players cheating-status other events and contextual approaches are triggered. III. Contextual Approches: Next to the generic dialogue RDS features a multitude of contextual approaches. That means NPC approaches with specific intention which are triggered randomly but based on your reputation. The idea is to have the NPC react to your overall behavior and add new feeling of consequence to the world. Some approaches are simple flavor dialogue, while others are longer social interaction or hook-ups. See the spoiler for a full list of all contextual approaches. Spoiler NPCs blackmailing the player for cheating Married NPCs wanting to cheat on their spouse with the player Brutes trying to coerce the player into sex or outright raping the player Casual invites for a drink (with friendly intent) friends with benefits hookups Degrading insulting when having a low reputation Targeted kidnappings of innocent girls when still on high reputation Sleazy attempts of making the player drunk or drugging the player (with devious intend) Offers to pay for sex Sleazy pick-up lines for quick sex Cocky but charming attempts of secret quickies NPC lecturing the player on their behavior (when having low rep) Confrontations from partners for cheating Partners following the player to catch them cheating Praising of the player for being a honest women, when having high reputation Charming courting with the intent of marriage IV. Relationships: In RDS is it possible to form a relationship with any unmarried NPC once your affection rises above 60. This will turn the NPC into your partner and give them a special set of dialogue. You can have one partner in each hold and even have them parallel to your vanilla spouse. The vanilla spouses are not affected by RDS dialogues and events. You are also able to invite your partner to live with you in any of your owned vanilla homes. Your partner will then move to their new home and move around the surroundings. Depending on their personality they will litter around and demand you to clean up. Your partner also might invite friends over. Sometimes your partner leaves to go on their own adventures and might send you love-letters to remind you of them. But be careful if you decide to cheat on them. Some will forgive you; some will break up. Installation: Just use Vortex or Mod Organizer Known Issues: I've encountered a display bug during dialogues. It can happen that you can't scroll further down through the options, but still have the little arrow at the scroll bar, indicating that there're more options available. To fix this just use the arrow down or S key to have the list display all options. If you find any bug, typos or have suggestions for new content, please let me know in the support topic or via PM. For typos best attach a screenshot so I can find the line in question easier. Compatability: RDS is compatable with Relationship Dialogue Overhaul. They sond similiar, but do very diffrent things. RDS should be compatable with Special Edition, since it only contains dialogue and scripts. But untested so far. Permission: Please do not alter or re-upload this mod without my expressed permission. Concerning 'Helping Development', what kind of data set (like RefID, personality trait, and so on....?) does the mod exactly need/can implement? I previously joined the project of the vanilla NPCs' trait development for the mod Sexlife (SLSL), and I just wonder whether you can use some of the data collected below for your 'Helping Development'. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/48337-sexlab-sexlife-trait-preset-development-vanilla-all-dlcs-done/ If you need a helping hand to assign your personal 'traits' with the vanilla NPCs, I'll be gladly available. And also, I have a suggestion to add one more trait: 'excluded' (as SLSL has). It will be useful for the mod not to apply the additional dialogue to some 'inappropriate' NPCs like children or non-vanilla creatures... [edited]: OK, I just had a quick test of your mod and vanilla children seemed to be excluded well. [edited]: I can also confirm that even male PC always seems to behave like a female in his sexual act, as mentioned below.

You have no idea how often I made an corrected this typo already^^ Corrected it again. I like the idea as well. You should get together with the author of Sexlab Eager NPCs. It sounds like you both could compliment each other's mods... I need to take a close look at Eager NPC, but thanks for pointing that out, definately something to keep in mind. Question about turning off animals ie. horse approaches and try for a conversion in settings I set it to Headero 2/3 is this right or I'm looking for a different setting? Horses or animal in general are not supposed to approach the player. Its a bug, they need a diffrent check. You can't do anything about it at the moment.

I'll put it on the list for the first update

You can accept or refuse the talk. Alternatively you can talk to every human NPC with the new dialogue option "Hi there! Want to chat?" Then you need to choose a way of behavior. After that the NPC will say something and you can resond to that. This back-and-forth can go on for a while. The line of the NPC reflect his mood and arousal state. With your responds you can try to lead the conversation in a certain direction, like flirting and having sex, just platonic smalltalk or mean insults and intimidation. But not all NPC react the same way to the same player action. What the the one is a turn-on might be boring for the next. You'll have to try it out throughout a couple of conversation. When you chose answers the NPC liked (or not) this will be remembered for the next conversation. For example if you were only insulting to a guy and threatend him for his gold, he will be rather intimidated or aggressive the next time. Respectively, if you were nice and friendly, your opposite will see you as more of a friend or lover and will behave that way, maybe even ask you to become friends with benefits. I hope this helpes^^ Once I get these grafics to show up in the OP it will get easier to understand how the dialogue tree behaves. Edit: just added the grafics as screenshots.
Vuulgar Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 This is most likely a huge amount of work but as I read through the thread I was thinking of how conversations in some cases could lead to results, you piss them off they might brawl or rape or sex or an increase in how much they like you. Kind of a Death Alternative of conversations with tie ins for mods like Eager NPC, Defeat, Follow Me for Sex. I have enjoyed most all your other mods Guffel, thank you for sharing your creative mind. I am anxious for free time to try this one also.

It would seem more liking to have a event happen late at night inside the bannered mare that first thing in the morning at the front gate. Also hopefully being able to ask a npc would you like a drink , that could increase your chances .THAT WOULD BE IMMERSIVE????????????

Halleaon Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 Installed this and loving it so far, it is weird that horses keep saying hello but i have managed to seduce a few people through dialogue. I would like an option to buy them a drink though for immersion purposes in taverns

BTW, does the debug message always says these messages consecutively: "[A] doesn't like your behaviour" "[A] mildly interested" "[A] act calmly" Those messages happens consecutively when the PC has choose the behaviour. I'm using SexLab ver. 1.59c and SexLab Aroused ver. 1.6. Also IMO, I think we could collect some dialogue suggestions in here to replace the existing dialogue, what do you think?
