Guest Posted September 14, 2019 Posted September 14, 2019 Body and hands need proper collision declarations. Make sure hands and body are set to <public> and not private. Make sure the tag system doesn't prevent collision between said meshes. You want to register body and hands in the defaultbbps.xml

What on earth made you think I was blaming you lol I'm just trying to learn how this all works.
Gromilla Posted September 14, 2019 Posted September 14, 2019 In this thread dozens of times described how everything works. Just do not be lazy to read the whole topic. If you want a quick way to learn, then unfortunately it is not. I have lessons in physics in the archive. Yes, I’m too lazy to talk about how boobs or vagina collide .. because in this topic everything is already there and everything is already told. Remember ONCE and FOREVER there is physics in Skyrim, but there are NO ready-made solutions for EVERYTHING and IMMEDIATELY, unfortunately. Want to understand what’s going on, learn what meshes, bones, weights are .. learn how to work in NIFSkope. I apologize for the harsh words, but I can’t support the fact that I myself haven’t finished yet .. "You won’t ask why there is little salt in the burger in which you picked up on the road ?? if you picked it up :))" 1

You want to register body and hands in the defaultbbps.xml So I didn't see the tags in the hands.xml that were preventing collision with the body. One little edit seemed to make all the difference. Thank you for pointing that out. I feel like I am finally starting to understand how this works so I appreciate any advice. I've been digging through these threads for months but only now feel like I'm starting to get it. Now i just need to fine tune the values I guess to match my body preset and all will be well. Before Spoiler After Spoiler PROFIT! (sorry the pics are gigantic, was not intentional) Should I maybe still leave off penetration also? I'm assuming that determines how far the hand mesh can pass through the body before causing a collision.

Is that SSE? The collisions work better than I imagined. I'll have to take a look at how they got it to work in the XMLs if it's for SSE.

Thank you very much for the clarification!

Thank you very much for the clarification! As a practical matter, this is true. However, as a technical matter, it should be possible to set up HDT-SMP and CBPC such that CBPC handles only the internal belly bulge (it's a separate setting in the CBPC ini) while at the same time letting SMP handle all the rest of the physics and collisions, **IF** I'm correct in thinking that SMP does not handle internal belly bulge physics- because it is generated on a CBPC custom collision sphere that exists only in the CBPC ini and isn't addressed by any SMP xml. Simply installing CBPC with everything in the CBPC MasterConfig file disabled (all set to zero) except the internal belly bulge should do it. That said, the reason I don't think it would be worth doing as a practical matter is that there could be times when SMP says "Belly node move left" and CBPC Internal Bulge says "Belly node move outward and up" and you have a runtime conflict that is bound to be hazardous to your CPU's health.

Thank you very much for the clarification! I use SMP and CBPC, and all I had to do to allow CBPC to handle certain things was basically tell SMP not to. So if you open the xml that handles the body for SMP (be it UUNPvagina.xml, UUNPspSMP.xml, UUNP.xml etc, which ever you use) and delete or tag the things you dont want it to handle (in this case any reference to belly) then CBPC will be free to handle it instead. I do this with the BBB all the time because some of my followers have custom skeletons and SMP will cause them to melt otherwise. Vyxenne says to set the values in the xml for belly to 0 and that may actually do the same thing and be a better alternative (I have yet to try that).

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Sorry if I said that, wish you had quoted me so I could go correct it... EDIT: I think I found the post you mis-read above. I edited it and added in the CBPC MasterConfig file to clarify what I was talking about. In any case, what I meant to say was set all the values EXCEPT Belly Bulge to zero in the CBPC ini file. I do not recommend setting any SMP values to zero- it won't necessarily disable them, for one thing, and for another it could completely screw up both physics and collisions. Hope you read this before actually doing anything! To disable a tag in an SMP xml file you should delete it or <!-- comment it out -->. I prefer commenting it out because it is easily reverted if necessary.
Guest Posted September 15, 2019 Posted September 15, 2019 belly bulge is totaly possible with smp what are you guys talking about. how bout set the dick to allow collision with femalebody and have the belly nodes set up to move? i see absolutely NO reason to combine smp and cbp.

Is that a hidden "linkpls"? There are many pictures of it in my aio thread. I gave you the answer on how to do it. set schlong to public and remove the no collide with body tag. Set female body to public and remove the no collide with penis tag. Copy any belly part from any XML out there and add it to the body XML.
