ndrz Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 look in SKSE\Plugins\hdtSkinnedMeshConfigs\defaultBBPs.xml, if you have your xml's body referenced. hdtSSEPhysics files only have uunp. If you use cbbe, download the smp profile on the cbbe nexus page and load it after hdtSSEPhysics. Last time i spent 2 hours seeing the hdtwigs hairs passing through mybody before i understand that.....

And it is loading after the hdtseephysics. Maybe my expectation is just too much. Basically, I have one of those idle animations where the character crosses her arms. But instead of her breast being pushed up and I'm just getting clipping as though there is no impact on the bones.
ndrz Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Oh, yes, i tried lifelike idle, and its the same for me... (its fun to see the console overlay pushing up the breast and not arms XD) investigating...
markTheLustOne Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 well I'm not too familiar with smp bodies (no mather ou logical the alterations I never get the desired result) but int the default xml the body tag don't collide with itself or something like this?
degenernate Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 The six months Hydrogen wanted for cleaning up SMP's source code are nearly over. I know we must not pester Sister Hydrogen, but I am still nervous I will never have full physics in VR. @realclone. @elzee, @Skyrim-Kirito, anyone - has there been any further mention of SMP's source code release?

Sorry there isn't any news of smp in VR version as far as I know yet. The fact is that Hydrogen is inactive in Chinese forum. I don't even know if he has quit the skyrim area.

monsta88 Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 A n00b SE mod user question. I used SMP in my first SE load order, but it practically killed my game. The fps dropped after a while to 3 in empty houses (on a 1080Ti). I thought 1st that some of the heavy hitter mods doing it, like Sands of Time. After 2 weeks of struggling, someone finally told me that SMP physics doing it. I removed the SMP and I didn't have a single slowdown since. I liked the clothing physics though, so I wonder if there is a way to set it up properly. Did I do something wrong with the SMP setup (ie, I didn't do anything, just installed it)? Thanks, M
Gromilla Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 Judging by the silence in the thread, everyone has everything wonderful, who wanted to figure it out, who did not master it, switched to CBPC. Well done! So I already can not bother with tails, ears, weapons, horses, and cursed by all seven gods, wigs and helmets with wigs? And then a lot of mods stand in the queue ... I at least rest, I'm not Chinese, I'm not eternal.

Thanks, M I immediately apologize for my English. I have a computer somewhere 30 times weaker from yours ... maybe more. But the whole problem in physics is that it needs to be configured. No and there is unlikely to be an "ALL-IN-ONE SMP physics package." There is nothing wrong with this, just need a little read and understand. For physics of the body, there is a lot of settings, more difficult for clothes and armor - each author believes that his modifications are the most correct (although this is true only for his computer) few of the authors think of everyone. But enough of the lyrics. You have a wonderful file in the folder Data\SKSE\Plugins\hdtSSEPhysics.log In this file, all the errors of physics .. body, clothing, armor and everything ..Ideally, there shouldn't be anything. If you decide to dress ALL npc in clothes with physics, then if there is an error, it will accumulate like a snowball. And the SMP physics does not require memory, but processor resources for calculating collisions and dynamics (if someone did not read the lessons), then in places where there are many light sources (candles, torches, etc.), the FPS drops by an order of magnitude right away. And with a bunch of errors, the computer will just get stuck under the plinth ... no matter how cool it is. Physics will eat all the CPU resources .. But there is no processor, what for memory? And now the advice to everyone who wants to contact this curse: 1. Ideal if you try physics on a clean game .. Without 1000500 mods. Well, or the desired minimum. 2. Physics of the body is connected with the bodies and skeletons of all the characters, if the player has a physics then everyone will have it (if there are no custom races or additional mods). 15-20 characters with curved physics in one area will kill the whole game at once .... 3. In this physics, every body, part of it, or something else is tied to the configuration file (xml file). In the error log will be written what and where is not true. To disable physics, you can simply rename the configuration xml file. 4. If something went wrong, then take a screenshot and attach a log file .. :)) 1
Tooneyman23 Posted March 7, 2019 Posted March 7, 2019 Hey everyone. I've got a bit of an issue. Anyone who's used the SOS version of the chinese mod. Did you noticed with the hdt weights the butt did this? Where I noticed the regular SOS mod didn't? I'm trying to create some new HDT weights for my BME mod. I've gotten them attached to the new body I created, but I noticed the nasty bump on the bum.. Everything else works on the body like the stomach and breasts, but for some reason the bum seems to have a nasty spike in the back.

At least we know Sister Hydrogen has not forsaken us. However, this does not answer the question of how the code cleanup is progressing, when/if it will reach a releasable state, etc. Six months is not an unreasonable amount of time to ask for an overhaul of a massive personal project, but with Hydrogen's enthusiasm for SMP already low, I remain worried we will never see the code. For now, I suppose we must maintain our distance. Before too many weeks pass, though, it would not be unreasonable to ask for an update.

Install SMP physics+framework 2. Delete/rename/edit the file named "defaultBBPs.xml" 3. Install CBPC (from Nexus) 3.1. Install SINful CBPC Config Now you have CBPC body physics and collision while also having the full SMP hair/wig/clothing physics. For me the SMP body physics/collision + sexy idles caused some serious framerate issues, but with CBPC everything has worked fine.

Unfortunately, I don't find that log file. I checked the mods dir (in MO2 folder), and in the c:\Users\Username\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE\ folder too. I don't have any non-vanilla stuff in the game's Data folder (except the SKSE scripts). I actually did monitor my processor and memory. The system memory was at a stable 7-8 GB (out of 16GB), no spikes. The video card memory was fluctualing a bit more around 5-8 GB (out of 11GB), but the card was at 42 celsius (very low temperature). I have an i7 3770K processor, 4 cores/8 threads. All threads were about 60-80 percent. I saw ocassional spikes to 100 on some threads, but even when I had the 3 fps, it didn't go up to 100. I did not monitor without the SMP yet, I wonder how the processor behaves now. 1) I'm afraid I never go anywhere without 150+ mods any more. In my quasi-1st SE setup I have now 180, but a lot of them are just outfits, and only 2 had SMP, and used only 1 (on my character). I didn't realize that SMP controlled the body physics too. While I use custom race, the bodies are physics-enabled. It is still strange for me how can the fps go down in a small house with only a handful of light sources and no characters (like an unfurnished Breezehome). Thanks again, M

So even if you delete the defaultbbps.xml you still need to be aware of what the smp config files referenced by your outfits are doing Edit: Since a lot of folk are going this route I'm trying to work out a way to make all my stuff compatible but just wanted to say that some isn't.
Yinkle Posted March 7, 2019 Posted March 7, 2019 For example this (which I hope will be released soon if the original author decides to) uses a separate mesh for the skirt with private tags, a proxy collision shape and no reference to the "body" tag so it should be fine with cbpc body physics. 1

Actually that issue can also be avoided, and it's extremely simple: Don't build morphs in BS for SMP armors! And if the armor already has morphs then just go and delete the pre-made .tri files that were included with the mod. CBPC uses morphs to get the physics working and if you don't build the morphs for the armor then there won't be any CBPC jiggle. And yes, if you build morphs for the SMP armors then the armor will have both the SMP and CBPC physics at the same time, and it can lead to some very weird jiggling. So you can build the SMP armors in a way that allows them to be completely stand-alone, meaning that the SMP armor can have full SMP body collision+physics while all your non-SMP armors still use the CBPC body collision+physics. All you need to sacrifice is the morphs for the SMP armor.

OMG Yinkle, I need that outfit! Unlike the (visually similar) Simple/Remake SMP Microskirts I already have (the ones with the 3 pattern versions- plain, line & plaid, and 4-5 colors each) your skirt here has an actual waistband (imagine that!) and moves realistically instead of poofing up into the air with every slight body or even hand movement! The top is cute too and the stockings are sexy! Hopefully you made a UUNP version, since the original was UNP, right? How can I get the outfit? Are you making any progress with (whoever the original author is)?
