Yeah, it’s sad. All we’ve gotten are multiple Skyrim rereleases and Oblivion: Remastered, along with some stuff for ESO. In other words, nothing really worth caring about. Meanwhile, iD has put out multiple DOOM games with DLCs.

DOOM 2016 is so good that it made me forget that I don’t like first person shooters (because I’m bad at them). Also, Mick Gordon is the GOAT.

Mick Gordon is incredible. I have many songs from the DOOM 2016 soundtrack on my workout playlist. While attempting my new back squat record, I had BFG Division playing. 😄

Nothing to be envious of. I live in the burbs of a big city, and the school right down the street from me, already closed 2 years ago, not enough enrollment.

I played Eso for 2 years and some of those storylines are better than skyrim's by a longshot. Mofo's could've made 4 whole games out of the content I played back then >_>

Those assholes just know that there was more money in an online game with cash shop than with a new title they 100% would and (sometime in the future will) get craped on for.

Hopefully the disaster they come up with will not enable them to make another needless update to one of their old games

I hate that quantum mechanic calculations found an optimization process in the universe, where 'it' simply doesn't exist, not even objectively, unless it's being observed by something. I also hate that they performed a double-double slit experiment recently, where 2 objective measurements of the same photon produced different results, then when they re-observed the experiment the previous recorded results changed suggesting that time was altered somehow. I'm afraid this means that we're running into the chaos part of physics, where our intellect simply can't possibly comprehend reality to the extend needed for us to manipulate it in such a way to ensure human survival on the long term. Anyway, that's what I was thinking about.

I have a friend in my DnD group who says that he loves playing ESO, but I hate games where I have to play with other people. In fact, the whole reason I play video games is to get away from people.

I lived in both a village and a small town in the USA at different points in my life, something which drove into my mind the fact that all things in life involve trade-offs.

 

There are positive attributes of such a lifestyle (peace and quiet as well as tight knit communities being the most notable) but the trade-off is a lack of access to the fruits of centuries of accumulated technological knowledge as well as a diverse skill base afforded by said access to that deep well of knowledge.
