When I read that, the only response I could think of is:

Given the multiple versions of the legend what would be the most surefire way to survive the encounter?

Throw a handful of salted rice into her face, just to cover a few bases by combining two tactics recommended for distracting other forms of supernatural entity. Maybe it will have a practical function and choke her or at least cause her to sneeze?

Well, if some female, ghost, or living, with the 'Heath Leger Joker' scars don't like me; That's a her problem. She can take me out, and well, she'd be doing me a favor. I don't fear death, because there are worse fates than death.

I remember reading that in some legends calling Kuchisake-onna average makes her leave peacefully. Average would definitely be a dream for someone like Saiki K.
