Angel... Dust from Hazbin Hotel? The only other person I know named Angel is that one guy from that one teenage vampire hunter show.

It’s me. My name is Angel.

Here's a random thought...

In the movie 'The Truman Show(1998)' at the end Christof actively attempts to kill Truman on live T.V. with both the Network Execs and Production staff all yelling at him to stop...

What would have happened, if Truman actually drowned? Would Christof have been charged with 'Assault with a deadly weapon (the weapon being that weather system)' and 'Murder in the first degree'?

Just a random 'alternate ending' plot that I was thinking of when re-watching that movie the other day. Darker, yes. But I think Christof was damned lucky that Truman survived that onslaught; Because it could have been his ass.

Getting old sucks hard. It's more visceral and debilitating than I thought it would be. Getting to the age where you have back arthritis and you know that the pain and the damage in your back will never get better, and feeling the rest of the body deteriorate just that tiny bit of an inch.. every day.. is gut-wrenching sometimes. If you're young here's what you'll possibly have to look forward to.. if you're unlucky. If you're lucky, good on you!

Comes a point when..

- Most of your favorite foods (and just the favorites) become toxic to you, even the stuff that's normally healthy.

- Your bladder says 'it's done' but it's lying to you. It's not done.. not even half way through.

- Peeing in morsecode, attempting to decipher what your body is attempting to communicate.

- The bones show wear and tear, making movement painful, nerves get clogged up giving you constant tingling and annoyance.

- You have to eat healthy every day because one day off can mean not feeling well for a week

- Losing a night over any reason means being tired the rest of the week

- You realize you didn't drink in 7 hours because you're just not thirsty, but your head is still exploding because you're dehydrated

- The toned stomach turns 'not so toned' even though you increased your training schedule in the last years

- The mistakes you made in the past regarding food, drink, alcohol, smoking, all those bad habits you gave up 20 or 30 years ago STILL come back to bite you in the ass.

- You learn exactly what cross-interaction between medicines can do to you.

- You realize healthcare see you more as a walking ATM machine than as a subject to care for and heal and that the hypocritical oath is real.

- You need to change your underwear twice a day regardless of how hygienic your habits are, because your sphincters (every single one of them) just aren't as tight as they used to be..

- Pain is a greater part of the day than non-pain

- If you didn't find meaning and people close to you in your life, it's much harder to go through all that, making you realize WHY all those old people said 'I focused too much on work/hobbies/things I liked instead of my loved ones and I ended up alone' on their deathbeds.

- You still pee in morse code and you laugh at the bizarre nature of existence.

- You have itchy red spots sometimes that you can't explain and doctors just say 'Don't worry about it'.

- You look in the mirror and sometimes you are jarred, seeing an old person instead of the one you were expecting..

Anyway.. that's on my mind today.

Nicely done. I can relate to much of what you wrote though I look at it as the chariot is falling apart but the driver is immortal.

You forgot the parts about:

- Sitting upright at a computer makes you groggy. Making you need to take a nap, when you got a full 8 hour sleep the prior night.

- Everything the younglings do seems to enrage you; As you start to realize how stupid most of what they find "important" is.

Huge victory for football.

Infantino's scheme is dead. Hopefully Infantino will be forced to resign.

The scheme in brief:

"Fifa and Infantino wanted to create a commercial subsidiary to run its main events, including its World Cups, and external investors would have been able to buy stakes in it.

It said it would "invite third parties to make minority, non-controlling investments" in a new subsidiary - Fifa Forward Enterprise (FFE).

In a 25-page document created by investment bank JP Morgan, it was made clear Fifa's tournaments would expand to hit an estimated increased pay-out of 24m euros (£20.5m)per member association in the 2035-2039 cycle.

In the document, the World Cup was described as the "most widely viewed" sporting event but Fifa, by contrast, was said to be "under-monetised".

There was no mention of the women's game.

Fifa said Thrive Eternal was expected to lead the proposed investor group for FFE, had it been approved.

Thrive is an American venture capital firm founded by Joshua Kushner - the brother of US President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared."

Question Why does football need investment, it makes billions every year?

Joshua Kushner brother of Jared Kushner. Small world, eh?

Does anyone actually care about that?

Complaining about being under monetized and not even mentioning the women's competition is a little weird.

Edit: FIFA fucking sucks, glad I'm not a fan of the sport.

Why would they not unless they were a misogynistic moron.

I care about neither women's nor men's games. Would that make me a misandrist as well as a misogynistic moron?

Just to clarify I am asking out of bored curiosity and am in no way agreeing with the Cow whom is Drunk.

Yeah I'm only 47 and I already want to unsubscribe from aging.

Granted aside from a nasty digestive disorder and some general wear and tear I've aged fairly well. I'm actually a lot more mobile and flexible than many of the younger people at my factory job.

Of course with the pride comes the disturbing realization that the average modern young person is so out of shape that even with the exercise of working a labor job they still don't have the mobility or energy to out compete a scrawny runt three years shy of 50 like me....

Neither because it isn't about whether one likes footie, it's about whether one cares about corruption in football.

Hell, I'm only 45 and simply watching a 30 minute YT vid makes me fall asleep. I can't even play a game for more than a few hours, without that same thing happening.

And on top of that, everyone and their mother, is seemingly trying to get me to sign into some 'anti-social media'; Which I have resisted doing all these years, and will continue to do so. And they say that I'm the asshole for not doing so. It pisses me right off.

Corruption in sports? The closest thing to corruption I can think of is my dad cheating at UNO.

Then you haven't seen the push for autogynophilic men trying to get into the WNBA that has happened lately. And anyone who speaks against it getting 'othered'.

The Weird thing is that Weird Al was not that far off from the attitude of a sports fan.

There is this Japanese urban legend known as a Kuchisake-onna 口裂け女 or Slit-Mouthed Woman. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kuchisake-onna

Given the multiple versions of the legend what would be the most surefire way to survive the encounter?

My favorite survival method that I’ve heard of is to politely excuse yourself from the conversation because you have to go to an important meeting or appointment. It’s such a mundane solution to a paranormal encounter, I love it.

“Do you think I’m pretty?”

”Yes.”

(Reveals fucked up mouth) “Do you still think I’m pretty?”

”Im sorry, miss. I’d love to chat, but I’ve got a doctor’s appointment that I really need to get to. I hope you have a good day.”

”Oh, sumimasen. Farewell, sir.”

Better than my decision.

I think this would be funny:

Kuchisaki: “Do you think I’m pretty?”

Some guy: "He's mine bitch!"
