After a quick search(because nobody paid me for a long one) I learned that eggs come in soft styrofoam packaging as a form of shock absorption to protect the eggs. As for the tamper proof packaging it does as described and prevents tampering by store thieves and other such assholes. One person in my sources mentioned batteries being flammable and the packaging being at least some degree flame resistant.

I really do not care why certain products are packed the way they were packed for I believe everything was packed that way with the reason. There is a little controversy about packing the batteries in plastic follies: On one side plastic is very flammable but on the other side, it is excellent protection against water and moisture. I guess nobody came out with a better solution.

Never did care for The Hunger Games. Then again never cared for 99% of the movies I've watched. Turns out getting a pig to sit down and watch a movie without falling asleep is a hard thing to do
