Grey Cloud Posted July 9 Posted July 9 (edited) Some of this factually incorrect but it gives you the gist of it. MS Now. Is Nigel Farage better than a trash can? 'Count Binface' challenges far-right party leader https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9vvpam-xxI Farage is in deep, deep shit. He's under investigation by the Parliamentary Standards Commission (x2) and by the police among other things. He's resigned as MP for Clacton forcing a by-election in which he will stand. He claims this is to 'let the people decide' whether he is fit to hold office. Firstly it is fuck-all to do with the people - they have no say in police investigations or parliamentary watchdog investigations and secondly, the other parties have said they will not field a candidate so now we will see how many people bother to come out and vote for Farage as Farage rather than vote for him as a protest against the other parties. The investigates will carry on regardless of the by-election result. Count Binface has now thrown his hat in the ring which means that Farage's share of the vote will be measured against Count Binface's. The by-election is unlikely to be on the August date suggested by Farage as parliament will be in recess. It didn't mention my favourite Count Binface manifesto promise in the video - to invite European countries to join the United Kingdom. 🤣 He's an absolute legend. 🫡 This story has got legs. Not least because the right-wing press, including Murdoch's stable, have the knives out for Farage. It has been reported today that another Reform MP is being investigated by the police. Reform has eight MPs so a quarter of them are under police investigation. 😲 Edited July 10 by Grey Cloud 1

Surely not? Forgot to mention yesterday that privately educated, multi-millionaire, former investment bank, career politician is framing this by-election as Nigel 'man of the people' Farage* versus the establishment which leaves Count Binface as the 'establishment'. Not many people would have had that on their bingo card. 🤔 *Nobody named 'Nigel' will ever be a 'man of the people'. I'm not sure the name is even legal up here in the north. 🤐 Edited July 10 by Grey Cloud 1

Grey Cloud Posted July 13 Posted July 13 See, it's not just me. The recently dead Sam Neill in one of his last interviews. ‘Why did you decide to switch from your actual first name – Nigel?’ PickleMan ‘Changing it has been the best decision I’ve ever made. ‘Now there is – God save us – the vague prospect of one of the worst Nigels ever becoming prime minister. Exceptions prove the rule – Havers, Planer, Davenport. Mostly, Nigels are fools. ‘No one has called their child Nigel in the UK for years. I’m not surprised. It’s the wettest name ever. ‘There’s a pub up north somewhere where they have a Nigel reunion, where these poor Nigels get together and provide mutual comfort. Maybe I should go and speak. ‘I got out of the Nigel game when I was 11, because my best friend was called Nigel, so it was pragmatic. ‘My brother and sister persist in calling me Nigel, but that’s about the end of it. If I’d stayed with Nigel Neill, I don’t think I would have had a film career.’ That pub wont be up north, matey. It does my head in when people who should know better keep peddling the Farage as next PM drivel. Farage will not be the next PM because: A - He doesn't want to be. Too much work and too much scrutiny. B. - There are 650 MPs in Parliament. Reform currently has eight MPs, five were elected as Reform candidates and three were elected as Tories but jumped ship afterwards. 1
Grey Cloud Posted July 14 Posted July 14 (edited) What a rip-off. A 67 million-year-old Tyrannosaurus rex has been sold for £37.4m ($50.1m) at a Sotheby's auction in New York - the most ever paid for a dinosaur. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0qyq800n44o He could of got new one for that money. Grey Cloud Posted July 16 Posted July 16 The morning after the night before. Ingurland are out of the World Cup, well beaten by Argentina. They stumbled through the tournament and fell over in the semi-final. Trying to defend a one-nil lead against Argentina was never going to work. Once Argentina equalised England's plan B was to send on more defenders. 😐 At least it's only a couple of weeks until the proper footie starts.
Grey Cloud Posted July 17 Posted July 17 (edited) Sometimes YT recommends come up trumps. I Read Emily Wilson's Odyssey And It Was Kinda Boring https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJy7WM6Pifk Nine minutes of drivel of which I only made to half way. She almost had it at 1:10 - 1:30. Star Wars was influenced by Joseph Campbell's 'Hero With A thousand Faces' (Campbell was a muppet) and L Frank Baum's book is an allegory. This guy gets it. The Journey Home: What The Odyssey Reveals About the Ordered Soul https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsjeKLTCnsE Watch this 15 minute vid and compare it to both sides of the drama surrounding the Nolan film. 2:45 - 3:50. Grey Cloud Posted Sunday at 10:27 PM Posted Sunday at 10:27 PM (edited) Well then. Congrats to Spain on their win. It was a crap game game to watch. Argentinian 'Dark Arts' against Spanish 'bore em to death' football. I doubt the orange moron will enjoy dishing out the medals to the Spanish. Last night's France - England game by contrast was a mad 10-goal extravaganza with some brilliant goals. Edited Sunday at 10:33 PM by Grey Cloud

Wandering_Mania Posted Tuesday at 12:58 AM Posted Tuesday at 12:58 AM Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that John Calhoon's NIMH 'Universe 25' experiment is playing out exactly as predicted in the world, right now. I mean: 'Looks Maxing' = 'Rise of the Beautiful ones' I can't be the only one who sees these parallels.

It may even been that you notice now that the tide has turned against those who dismissed that possibility for this long.

I also noticed that even the others that originally dismissed it, yet now admit that it is happening, simply don't care that it is happening. I guess they decided to 'realize Bushido'. As the quote by Yamamoto Tsunetomo goes: "Bushido is realized in the presence of death. This means choosing death, whenever there is a choice between life and death. There is no other reasoning." 2

Whenever there is a choice between life and death one should choose whichever is in accord with bushido. Not sure Tsunetomo could back up that quote with any teaching of Siddhartha Gautama's.
Wandering_Mania Posted Tuesday at 03:34 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:34 PM 2 hours ago, Grey Cloud said: That is nonsense. Dissect the quote all you want. But you get my meaning in the context as used. Humans have chosen death, extinction, and non-existence; Over life, survival, and continuation of the species.
Grey Cloud Posted Tuesday at 04:27 PM Posted Tuesday at 04:27 PM 32 minutes ago, Wandering_Mania said: Humans have chosen death, extinction, and non-existence; Over life, survival, and continuation of the species. Which humans? Europeans, South Americans, Asians, Africans; or just a bunch of Americans? How did they choose? Even the concepts of life and death you are using are based on the Abrahamic religions. Extinction, survival and the continuation of the species? How many humans act on behalf the species? One could just as easily argue that choosing 'life, survival, and continuation of the species' is precisely what the world's fascists are doing right now. The concept of 'non-existence' is whole new ball game.
Wandering_Mania Posted Tuesday at 09:00 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:00 PM 4 hours ago, Grey Cloud said: Which humans? ALL humans. As all over the world, birth rates are declining, men are withdrawing from dating, females are becoming hostile (mostly to men), and we are now witnessing the first time where a generation failed to have an 'improved intelligence' over their parents. 4 hours ago, Grey Cloud said: How many humans act on behalf the species? Probably none. But it's the 'collective human actions' that are in question here. So no matter how much you try to pick apart and shift the narrative, it will not work. Because as Dr. Edward Roivas aptly said in 'Eternal Darkness:Sanity's Requiem': "Like it or not, believe it or not, as you will. Your perceptions of reality do not change it; They merely color it." And really all you have to do is open your eyes, and look around at the world to see instances of this all taking place. The 'MeToo movement' pushing men away. The 'MGTOW movement' where men choose to opt out of society. The '4B movement' when abortion was taken away. Public schools closing because not enough enrollment. And so on. We are in the 'Die phase'. And soon, within 100 - 200 years the Human race, will be extinct. As we are already at a point of 'unsustainable population levels'. So yeah, keep arguing. It will change nothing. The facts, the reality, is right outside; And the clock is ticking.

I've heard of the MeToo movement but neither know nor care what it is and the others I've never heard of. Do any of them exist outside the USA? As for schools closing, that is not an issue here in the UK. Over-crowding is the problem. 39 minutes ago, Wandering_Mania said: And soon, within 100 - 200 years the Human race, will be extinct. As we are already at a point of 'unsustainable population levels'. I'm confused here. On the one hand you seem to be arguing that the world's population will shrink to nothing due to people not breeding but on the other you use the term 'unsustainable population' which is usually associated with the global population being too large. Do you have any actual evidence for the 100-200 year prediction? "Human society is faced with an historically unique period of population growth, due to a dramatic decline in death rates coupled with constant fertility rates in much of the world. The world now produces one million more members of the human family every 96 hours. The momentum of population growth is so great that is difficult to slow down and it is unlikely to cease in forthcoming decades." "The world's population totalled approximately 1,000 million in 1804. It took 123 years to add another 1,000 million; 33 years to reach 3,000 million in 1960, 14 years to reach 4,000 million in 1974, 13 years to reach 5,000 million in 1987 and 12 years to reach 6,000 million in 1999. The rate of population growth, though now beginning to fall, still adds nearly 80 million people a year, with 97 percent occurred in the poorest parts of the world."
