That would make it easy, all you'd need would be more along the lines of going into the MCM and setting whether it's a regular high heel or a ballet heel, kind of like how Frostfall lets you check and change how warm/waterproof/etc an item of clothing is.

I have a suggestion regarding boots and feet (as a possible feature in future versions).

 

There are plenty of mods that add high heels, what about something that lets us compile a list of boots with high heels (which could still be wearable after feet are deformed) that can be loaded/saved through the MCM? Maybe in such a way that we could drop them here in the forum for others to download and then add to their game?

 

For example, Book of UUNP adds hundreds of armor pieces, including dozens of boots, both with and without high heels. Say someone creates a list of which of those boots has heels and gives it to you to put into the downloads, then everyone using devious training could download it and have the mod automatically whitelist the appropriate boots.

 

I don't know what sort of format would work, given that the first two digits of a refid/etc are dependent on load order, but I'm sure there must be a way to do it.

 

to much work - sorry - i dont want to spend few next night to code something that will be used only few times - i added 3+1 slots for boots - maybe i will add HDT check in future, many people ask for it.

 

now im almost finish version 2.4

i dont want expand mod only in boots direction ;)

I have a small problem, the mouth does not scale anymore. But I do not know exactly where the error could be.

I have recently installed Cursed Loot again, otherwise all Mod's remain the same.

 

PS: is version 2.4 already finished?

As I said, I unfortunately do not know exactly what it is.

I have now made several reboots. All new games.

When the progress is completed, my mouth is scaled depending on the setting.

After a restart, this is no longer the case.

..weird

By the way, could you kind gents suggest to me some mods to play along devious training while keeping a game relatively stable? The last time I tried training, it (or another mod alongside training) induced some latency in SD+ enslavement process and thus I deemed it unworthy to go along. The issue I'm having is with the "constant monitoring of the player" the mod seems to have, which create a heavier load than necessary.

i changed scaner filter (v2.4) - You will select actors from:

-PC and/or

-Followers and/or

-Friends and/or

-Neutral and/or

-Enemies

 

so You can for example check only PC and followers - of course in this case mod will works faster than with for example 20 - 30 NPC...

 

so if you noticed lags - You can also turn off option in MCM in tab "solutions" -> "process all NPC (experimental)" if You still have problems - im afraid that i cant find solution - anyway - 2.4 should be lighter - i reduced some redundant functions and still try to find next.

 

I have almost always 60FPS and no lags - and i had problem with SD+ with/without my mod - anyway.

That's great news about the upcoming new version!

 

I can understand bicobus's hestitation about using this mod in regular gameplay though, though in my case it's because I don't have a good computer and so I have to be very picky about which mods to add. My papyrus latency isn't good to begin with, as my computer struggles to get to 60fps outdoors, hitting 30-ish in populated areas which is so bad for the scripting engine. Devious Training, YPS Fashion, SD+ are only three of the many mods that I don't dare to activate (and then always miss a lot) when I go for a long game.

 

That got me thinking though, would you maybe consider creating a "light" version of your mod if it's not too much work? I had a look at your script sources, and with what little I understood, the training gets calculated by the player/NPCs actions such as fighting, walking, speaking etc., weighted differently for each item type. Then again, I may have gotten that entirely wrong, my programming skills are limited to some dabbling in BASIC and Pascal that I did twenty years ago, lol. Anyway. Would it be feasible to add an option to replace all that with a (probably?) much simpler time-based calculation, where only the time the item is equipped is counted towards training? The updates could probably be expanded from seconds to minutes that way, too. It would no doubt take away some of the fun of the mod, but it might allow guys like me who use a Commodore to play Skyrim to use this mod all the time.

 

Just something I wanted to ask. Please don't misunderstand me, this is not intended as criticism. I do love your mod and it has become a core element of my "all out Sexlab" profile.

This is a common trap while creating a mod. The idea is great but the implementation do not take into account the user's tendency to install other mods. By that I mean that the mod is trying to monitor everything the player is doing and react to it, increasing papyrus load and the likelihood of stack dumps. There is little to do in matter of optimization, sadly. The issue I had with SD+ and training was on the moment my PC got enslaved. There was a definitive "lag" in that process, not a FPS drop just the scripts not going as smoothly which can and will lead to other kind of problems along the way due to the "real time" nature of the game. For example with such a lag and DCL installed, it would be possible to pickup several alchemy ingredients rapidly and fire several cursed loot events the ones after the other, because the game didn't had the time to register the initial cursed event.

 

Another approach to the "devious training" idea would be to used a skill tree and let the player chose which bonus/curses are gained once the skill levels up. There shouldn't be any kind of monitoring, but events firing briefly depending of the player's actions. If the player enters in combat with specific bondage items equipped add some numbers to the xp, if the player starts to run with the pony boots do the same thing. The bonuses would give an incentive for the player to wear bondage items, while each perk modify the PC appearance.

 

What I mean to explain is that there is probably a way to achieve the same end goal while being resources friendly. It wouldn't be as "immersive", true, but is skyrim is really immersive at all?

A question about this: What exactly do I have to install to use Body changes?
This setting is not available for me in the MCM menu.

..and something else.. the Armbinder training does not seem to work with me. I've set it to Ultra, but it does not work.

Thx for the update! and progressing this nice mod further :)

I would like to make a suggestion for next update. Through boots training you can run like a jaguar when wearing DD boots.... even when wearing a hobbledress and/or anklechains.

Is it possible to disable the speed advantage while beeing hobbled in any way? I think you never can train to run in a hobbledress or -chain, as much as you try *g*

I dont want to disable boots training effects complete, cause i really like the arched feet :) .

Another thing i noticed is, that i got ponyhoofs equiped anytime i dont wear boots even i checked "Extra items: equip in ponymode". Not sure if its meant to work this way.

Would be good, if they only equipp, when Ponymode starts (Armbinder and.. whatever is need to start ponymode , just forgot :) )

The scaling of the mouth now folds again perfectly.

The only problem I have is that armbinder or yoke do not count. I do not get any experience on Ultra. Also not on other attitudes .. So it does not work with the Ponygirl with me.

What can i say - for me armbinder/yoke work fine :) I think that your armbinder had no requied key - maybe you are using not DD item and only something that looks like? You can turn on logs (papyrus) start save, walk in yoke/armbinder around about 30s ~ 60s turn off game and open logs - You can find in log spam something like:

1) sometimes another mod unequp your items - and then put it back on you incorrectly

2) you using armbinder from another mod (im plaing with devious cursed loot, s.l.u.t.s (why this mod is dead:( ) captured dreams - and i noticed no problem with any kind of yoke/armbinder

 

first - try turn on log and then we will try to find reason - if You can You can also put Your unequped yoke on floor - and then in console mode try to find ID and mod that provide this item. That's can be helpful for me. Good luck!

Sounds good to add plugs and blindfold, but dont get me wrong, i think one should not be able to train "running" while wearing a hobbledress ! ^^

Thats most what a hobbledress is made for, slowing you down. Same for leg/hobblechain. So i would suggest when wearing one of these,

the (speed)advantage of the highheel training should be disabled. regards

Now the armbinder / yoke training also works. The problem was a delayed timer from another mod.

Would it be possible to reduce the weight of devices as your training increases? Equipped weight affects many things in my game. Having items weight nothing at maximum level would be really helpful. 

 

Also, how about a modifier for untraining. So that untraining levels will take longer than training up.

I would like this too, or at least clarification on what the "(de)buff mod" option does. I would hope that it only works on debuffs since there is already an option for buffs, but the title and the "no buffs/debuffs" option would indicate otherwise.

 

 

TLDR version: Need an option to slow down untraining only, rather than a modifier that effects both training & untraining.

Was wonder if i download the mod can i use the MCN to edit the buffs/debuffs to say make it always be a debuff just reduced as my skill increases?

Sorry to ask but is this mod still in progress? There hasn't been any news for months. Btw this is one of my favorite mods and thank you for bringing this wonderful mod. XD

Deviously Helpless has a feature like that, though it only has 3 levels (untrained: normal weight, somewhat trained: worn items are only 50% weight, and fully trained: worn items are 0 weight)

It also doesn't have any un-training feature.

 

EDIT: When I say "items" I'm only referring to devious items.

This is probably a dumb question but is there a way to check the rank and what is the max rank? Also a suggestion, add in the mcm a page that tracks the ranks for each.

The mod used to have this pre 2.0, only way to see the rank now is via the console.
