Hi there.

Does this mod actually introduce some craftable or buyable prosthetics into the game? Or is one doomed to crawl around after losing a limb?

I believe the mod novels adds a amputation questline as well as adds prosthetics. You can also lose a limb from stepping on a bear trap.

Hmmm... no such Quest arrived, even after I crawled halfway across Skyrim back to Whiterun, hoping to buy or make a prosthetic.  :(

And this after losing my leg from Disarming a bear trap.

This mod here http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/3319-novels-short-lovecraftian-stories-for-ll/  it should have a quest when you get amputated via bear trap I know that not when you do it manually. I have no idea who the person that sells you prosthetics but i remember them being in whiterun unless he changed that I am not sure.

@Hæretic

I noticed the mod Combat Fatigue doesn't work with this mod because when you're forced into crawling animations from this mod as soon as you're injured it overwrites your mods animations for a brief period the problem is it never reverts back.

Ack! I'm using Combat Fatigue, too (broke it at one point, and finally got it working again after some effort). Hadn't realized it was incompatible (haven't lost any limbs yet). :(

Well I managed to fix it you can download it HERE

What is does exactly:

- Added keywords for arm restraints so it doesn't interrupt armbinder etc. (For both Zaz and DDI)

- Added keywords for Amputation effect so it doesn't interrupt crawl animations

If you download this you may need ZAZ, DDI and amputation framework mod. I am unsure.. also

you wont need to start a new game or anything like that.

Thanks! I'm using all of these (not sure my ZAZ is the latest one, though), so hopefully that should be no problem.

haha no problem It can be any version of zaz  I am using 6.11 go ahead and give it a test with both armbinder and amputation (lower legs, upper legs and feet) combat fatigue animatiions should still work if you're amputated your arms only.

Hi Haeretic, since you made this and wonderful devices, i wonder if that could be combined? Some pony hooves for amputated arms/legs, still crawling but clacking?

Then we only need an update for alternative riding styles to make player/NPCs real ponles :D

Hello Hæretic, I have stumbled on some errors revolving amputator during my play with slaverun. A proper log and small explanation is available on my post on slaverun's topic.

Since then I have reloaded the save with the amputated NPC, healed her then amputated her again. This had for effect to add her to the slot of amputated actors in the framework's MCM menu. Yet, I still have the exact same errors in my log. I attached a new log illustrating these actions, please excuse the iDDe spam.

6AADF0DA is the ID of ivana, the amputated NPC. But I do not understand the meaning of these warnings:

[05/14/2017 - 03:48:23PM] warning: Assigning None to a non-object variable named "::temp42"
stack:
    [AmputatorMain (16000801)].amputatormainscript.AmputateActor() - "AmputatorMainScript.psc" Line 203
    [Active effect 5 on  (6AADF0DA)].AmputeeEffectScript.OnGainLOS() - "AmputeeEffectScript.psc" Line 31
[05/14/2017 - 03:48:23PM] warning: Assigning None to a non-object variable named "::temp43"
stack:
    [AmputatorMain (16000801)].amputatormainscript.AmputateActor() - "AmputatorMainScript.psc" Line 207
    [Active effect 5 on  (6AADF0DA)].AmputeeEffectScript.OnGainLOS() - "AmputeeEffectScript.psc" Line 31
[05/14/2017 - 03:48:23PM] warning: Assigning None to a non-object variable named "::temp47"
stack:
    [AmputatorMain (16000801)].amputatormainscript.AmputateActor() - "AmputatorMainScript.psc" Line 224
    [Active effect 5 on  (6AADF0DA)].AmputeeEffectScript.OnGainLOS() - "AmputeeEffectScript.psc" Line 31

Something isn't right and amputator is spamming my log with errors. Some property don't seem be be matching or are lost along the way for some reason.

Do you have an idea as to why I get some warning? Do you need more details to help troubleshoot this problem?

Thanks.

um, so there's no way to restore a missing limbs?I mean other than in the menu, no quest or place to go to have it healed? I see a quest to find someone to heal it but I've gone to a few temples and no luck.

Yes, this is a pure framework. You'd need to have a specific mod to handle all the cutting and healing outside of the MCM.

I'm very, very new here, and i'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but when I go to download this, it's a .rar file that's apparently the solitaire theme music? Is there something I've missed or otherwise done wrong? thanks!

thanks, I switched browsers and got it working and it seemed to be going great! sorry, I probably should have known to try that before.

however, after I amputated my character's left forearm and knee, a roughly triangular area of his crotch disappeared, including his genitals (i'm using Schlongs Of Skyrim). I tried loading an older save, and even though in that save I hadn't amputated anything, when I took his clothes off to check, he was still sadly crotch-less. I'll upload screenshots in the morning.

other than that bug, however, this is great!

nm, after quitting to desktop twice, and sorting my load order (I must have neglected to do so before) it seemed to have fixed itself when I opened it this morning

I love this mod, but I am having a small problem with it.  Sometimes when my character is amputated, I lose the ability to sneak or use shouts.  This is usually after I use the heal function on my character.  It also happens when I reload my game.  I will attempt a partial reinstall to test if there's any conflicts, but so far I haven't found any.  If anyone could help with this problem, I would really appreciate it.  I saw this issue in this thread already, but couldn't find a work around.

i can't get this to work, do i need to set anything in nioverride config ?

Amputating characters using the F1 menu doesn't work, the legs/arms are still there, if i remove my own feet the character starts to crawl but no changes are made to the body

In slaverun after arms amputation event, the prosthetics are equipped by the character but the arms that are supposed to be amputated are still there

Did you install the XPMSE skeleton? That is the ONLY skeleton you should be using.

I neglected to add that you should also check to make sure that whatever character you are trying this mod on uses the XPMSE skeleton. Some mods come with a skeleton instead of using whatever skeleton you replaced the vanilla skeleton with, fortunately all you need to do is copy the XPMSE skeleton over whatever skeleton they installed.

That private skeleton should only be the case though if the actor isn't a vanilla actor and is almost always a custom follower.

Don't know if that will help in your case but since fixing the skeleton to the one known for working with this mod didn't fix the problem...

Another possibility to check is to make sure you've got the right NIIOVERIDE files, some other mod you installed may have overwritten the current one with an older version.

hello , i really like this framework and i made some animations for it , how can i contribute to you ?and one more question  . i found that if i enable the custom animation , i can not control the character to fight anymore ,no matter i have the "control character " on or off .  i checked the source code but i was not able to compile it ( never compile any code for this game ever )  haha , could you please check ? i would like to create some animations for combating .. thank you . a version which enables user combat control when activating the alternative animation would be great .. cheers .

I dont understand this is so good. Why doesnt Cursed Loot include this with a very Rare chance ? Like a 1% Chance that a Rapist/A Trap cuts off your Arm. Or both. Or everything. Or why no regrowth Mod ?? This Mod has some Potential i say!

Because you need to ask for it in the Cursed Loot thread and Kimmy has never thought of that kind of trap?

Pretty great mod, shame we didnt see anything interesting actually using the framework yet, but fingers crossed. I mean, who enjoys modding Fallout 4, right?

Anyway, I have a little problem, the mod works great, all the crawling animations work as they are supposed to, but for some reason the crawling idle is getting overwritten. I turned off the animation adjustment from FNIS sexymove and turned off auto relax in AFT, yet when I stand still, the NPC stands up as well, no legs and all.

Its a small thing, but if anyone has any idea what might be causing it, I am all ears, since I tried troubleshooting it for some time and had no luck so far

I suggested it to Kimy and she considered amputations disgusting. So... not likely to happen, sadly. :( Probably the best we can hope for would be compatibility with a mod that adds amputation traps.

Two mods i didn't really use but might be candidates to add it are FMEA and dangerous traps and pitfalls.

I've ran into an issue where the scaling is being ignored, I use Sexlab Inflation framework and can see the nodes changing from 1 to a zero, but the mod isn't added to the list, nor is there any scaling, even not using SLIF the scaling isn't working, a note though the MCM breaks when trying to enter just Amputator menu,  I am running the latest XPMSE.  The only recent change to my build was installing the latest Devourment update which as far as I can tell didnt overwrite the skeleton nor any script interfering.

Ok, i finally decided to not mix the projects.

So, there will be a little mod focused on amputations and curses...

1 : traps can ampute you or your follower

2 : rune traps can add you very strong curses... and the cure is usually amputation.

3 : recipe for the prosthetics.

4 : a little cave with Furotubs for regeneration.

4 : I hope to create a "dwemer cybernetization" (modif should be permanent, so devious devices related scripts, I'm afraid.)...
