I don't think I saw any serious discussion of ever doing away with the vibration effect. If it does get removed it probably will have to be from designing a device that does not include the feature in Virgin itself. That the change doesn't have any effect is a point i'd mention, though. That's an important point worth to remember them about, even if it's already mentioned. For me, while using some magic too, it's the cost to stay a virgin... and one of the many reasons, i disappoint Nocturnal often. Actually i even abuse it: my breasts grow from MME and slow me down after sleeping or stuff, but vibrating nipple piercings force milk dribbling. So i cast something while running to get my speed back. For the wolves bite horses problem: After some thinking i was sure it was this funny little mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19069/? But sadly, it only allows fighting, not shouting. On the other hand, it solves this problem in his own kind... which might be considered OP, though. I'm still sure i was shouting while riding a broomstick, but i really don't know if it worked with normal horses and if it was an earlier version of this mod, or another (additional) mod, or even a totally unintended "conflict" between this and another mod. I think a horse with explosive diarrhea wouldn't have any problems with wolves nipping at it's heels. Equine Laxatives of Skyrim, coming to the Nexus soon...

As a caster-type too, I'd like it if the skeleton key was the one to not have this magic/vibration effect. It's still a challenge to earn the key (my character sheathes her bound sword whenever a vibration animation is played), but it's also the best one to wear long-term for it's lock-picking utility. Edit: While I'm at it. Could you take off the armor rating for the skeleton key? This also acts as a type of debuff for mages, limiting their protection spells. Armor rating removed for next release. Did so on the Anal Torch too. Only the enchantment (for lock picking) is a challenge to get for the Skeleton Key. You can otherwise use it anytime. So would you be suggesting that the effect only come off upon enchantment, or all the time? I'm thinking I will just remove the effect from both Torch and Skel Key (regardless of enchant), and leave it only on the Bell Chain. EDIT: but after just reading Nazzzgul666's post, I think there's going to be people disappointed if I do lol Which takes me back to adding a new anal device without the effect instead of messing with the existing. How about a Soul Gem up your ass? Call it Caster's Delight or something. Eventually figure out some "enchant" to earn for it too. From what Ive seen of the DD items there have been two effects one where the vibrations are set randomly which the MCM does control and the other is the spell cast, its the spell cast that I would like to see removed but if its not optional then I noticed that most the items seem to come from Heretical Resources which would mean you have a Vaginal Bell at your disposal, so if you kept the anal bell with no vibrations but added the vaginal bell with vibration, people could configure their character to have the bell noise one way or the other. This mod is using the vaginal plug and chain already. Just with no bell on it. It's called Virgin Chastity Chain. I've opted to treat it as a chastity device instead of vaginal plug. Thus can't now also have a vaginal plug with bell. I won't nerf existing things when there's any sign of people being unhappy. So the 3 existing Anal devices will be staying as is. But adding a new Anal device with no vibration effect when casting, is something I will do. Unless someone comes up with a better and do-able idea, it's going to be the "Virgin Anal Soul Gem" But as a solution to this, maybe you could add a 1-2 seconds stun to the thief after spanking? Or playing something like the bleedout animation for the thief? Many animations look bad with weapons equipped, and changing it every time before spanking... i think there are better ways for our perfect virgin. I will probably add a calm spell.

It was my complaining that first brought it to your attention On a more constructive note the primary "debuffs" that come from magic use with DDI vibration effects are 1. Arousal gain reducing XP gain. Not only do we have shout reducing arousal, the most recent version of aroused has a way to turn the XP effect off completely. As such this is a non issue for everyone at this point. 2. Randomly fondling yourself every 7 steps with high arousal interacting with other DDI related mods such as cursed loot and DDI itself. Most of these have a way to turn them off such as in cursed loot. Disabling hardcore effects stops the worst of it from DDI in my experience. The sheathing of bound weapons comes directly from this issue as you put away weapons when you need your suddenly very public alone time. 3. The sound can be a bit irritating from time to time. This is most vexing when you have a single spell such as fast healing go off and DDI decides to keep vibrating until you are at max arousal. Doesn't happen often, somewhat adjustable in DDI but cannot be done away with in MCM. Not really a debuff as much as something annoying. On the subject of the armor rating on the skeleton key and torch interfering with mages that comes or the Mage Armor perk in alteration. Whenever you are wearing no armor (clothing is fine) it will double or triple your armor rating from flesh spells. This is a bit of a tricky one honestly as it is affected by most every magic overhaul I have ever used. The one I use right now, Awakened Magica, actually ignores the torch and key so it hadn't been an issue for me. It would definitely be a huge problem for anyone who did have interference though. Considering the current comments it looks like we have a few people who want the effect gone, a few who don't want to see it touched, and a few who are somewhere in between. In my humble opinion I do believe that adding in new devices that don't have the effect is a good one. I would also state that debuffs are not the worst potential thing to put up with. Having a lit torch makes sneaking more difficult as far as I know. Having a lit torch rammed up your ass could be considered a debuff for sneaky characters. I assume we have all managed to work around it though. I think it might be worth considering shifting some of the effects around a bit to suit a purpose. If I recall you are looking into new punishments for not reporting in on time, correct? Imagine the vibration occurring whenever you started sneaking or using power attacks as well as spellcasting as an additional punishment from Nocturnal for your disobedience. Its one idea, but maybe it could lead to interesting places.

Not seen one around to use either. Its one idea, but maybe it could lead to interesting places. The new "failed to report in" is a punishing color, similar to the one for the DA feature, but the damage increases over time. You need to report in to get it removed. I think it's enough without more effects but we shall see.Its in the next release. My focus on this has been more about removing the interruption the old failed to report in can create, like being hauled out of a CD cage, or out of POP Prison. This new approach leaves reporting in voluntary, but you are "encouraged".

I just wasn't sure, all other locations i found so far were at the end of a waterfall, and this is very hard to reach without walking on water and even with it not exactly easy because of the stream. Plus i couldn't find an easy way to go there, i fought my way through deepwood redoubt and had to use the whirlwind shout. I'm not used to have so many troubles to reach a waterfall, but maybe i was just blind... at the beginning i thought it's a second case of "map marker is weird", i had this once after upgrading but couldn't reproduce it. Don't get me wrong, i love that you showed me this place. It was just harder than expected. Another idea for the horse problem: what about a spell that gives a target a long time aura freezing enemies? I don't think it would be OP, but maybe it is when you use followers. Don't know if a spell can work on horses only. Or the icycle from this mod as a plug, instead of a spell: http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/2510-crude-anal-toys/ but then you'd need a serious disadvantage to prevent somebody (me ) using it all the time. Maybe forbid running or reducing speed? Would make sense in some way, you are so cold that you can't move fast, but your enemies will freeze. Still not perfect, you'd need to switch plugs before/after mounting the horse... but an intresting feature imho.

Variety is the spice of life and this is very hard to reach without walking on water no not true you can swim there and trigger and even with it not exactly easy because of the stream. The probably easy solution would be to disable it via MCM, but then i thought.. What if you attach that to an item instead of the player (i'd think the ankle chains would fit), and maybe make several versions of other items as well, like the skeleton key? Maybe for some or one of them the player can even chose if (s)he wants a mage/thief/warrior enchantment, and get some progress. I'd like that very much, and the mage players would probably be satisfied as well. For example: spanking x thieves: enchanted wrist device, reduces damage when blocking OR destruction spells make (5% ?) more damage. Maybe even several stages, 10 thieves = 5%, 20 = 10%. I know you don't want to make much things that other mods already do, but i like progress and rewards and it's not that easy to find stuff nobody else did or used before. At least the destruction ->more damage isn't avaivable in vanilla as an enchantment, not sure if there is a vanilla item for that. I've seen it, but i can't remember if it was by a mod or which one. But it's 6 hours real time, maybe you could change it to, don't know, 24-48 hours game time instead? Then i could just sleep it away or doing other stuff some time (but less than 6 hours ), that was my thought about virgin training. Or switch items via MCM if necessary. If I could dynamically control this stuff through script, and have just one item, maybe... but there's limitations, like keywords wont work that way so rules it out for add/remove vibration effect using just one item. Hmmm Beeing female has a function to add random effects to babies ( equibable items), maybe a look at that would help. But i'm not sure if that's a solution at all for you, i think we don't want totally random effects. If you can make them less random that might do it, though.

But it's 6 hours real time, maybe you could change it to, don't know, 24-48 hours game time instead? Then i could just sleep it away or doing other stuff some time (but less than 6 hours ), that was my thought about virgin training. Or switch items via MCM if necessary. Effects done in menu, that way don't have option of game time. I don't think this badly needs to change If I could dynamically control this stuff through script, and have just one item, maybe... but there's limitations, like keywords wont work that way so rules it out for add/remove vibration effect using just one item. Hmmm Beeing female has a function to add random effects to babies ( equibable items), maybe a look at that would help. But i'm not sure if that's a solution at all for you, i think we don't want totally random effects. If you can make them less random that might do it, though. I know how to do it, just not with keywords. There's not going to be a way with keywords. Hence can't for vibrations

But don't tell me! Hm, i think i really have to try some things with CK and scripting maybe, at least to make more useful suggestions^^

Also i cant change the space button to others during that scene then i'm not sure if it's working or not *edit: after i restart then it change from cage to chains bound but still stuck after the first chat with nocturnal...cant understand

Nazzzgul666 Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Since it seems to be an easy task: could you also exclude the etheral shout from conjuring Nocturnal? I use it to avoid traps and to jump from mountains, in both cases she isn't a big help. The first time i used it i was hanging over some fire traps and Nocturnal ran away to find some spiders which wouldn't come down from the ceiling until i went close... And: Goubo (Defeat author) has plans to rewrite defeat as an alternative framework for DA, if you have requests, concerns or something, it would be a good time to tell him.
