that is  a animation crash. typicaly that will happen if u higher in how much u using of the animation system. if u cant see it take and open the ini for fnis and u can enable seing the percetage for the animation system. ctd when load a save is a common issue if u have to many peoplle animations.

Where is the suggestions box for add on mods for this mod system? I want to make a request based on my playing experience starting back in the original PH mod. I just don't know where to direct it or to whom.

yes, but that info is only available for xxl and here's the problem with XXL:

i had no where near the animation limit and very little ctd percentage while using XXL, however it was very unstable game with it. constant ctd's both in game and loading the saves. still testing my new save to see if the problem is completely fixed or still something else wrong, but so far removing XXL seems to have fixed my problems

i hardly ever crash. ctd when load a save is nearly always a nimation crash. u can get that even if u not over the base limit. well u cacn take and install xxl then see what info u get then just swap bback.

me i only have 2 ctd and thats OOM and random animation creash. ther a rare smp craash but that happens super randomly and very seldom

I was wondering if there could be a freedom option for slaves that serve you well and you grow fond of. The clone to turn a slave into a slave in reverse, I guess is what I'm suggesting, to make them "Freedmen" status followers.

 

I'm using just standard sex mods for my jolly's, and the slaves are just being used as a personal army. I like that they can die in a fight and I like to find or spawn equal sized NPC warbands to fight with.

 

I am using the Nord Blood-Kin mod, so my character direction is out of place and I don't feel obligated to either side in the civil war. I carved out a niche in the heart of Forsworn territory and I want to play as a Wrothgarian raider chieftain.

 

I have ported Celtic helmets, oval shields, weapons and neck torcs from an old esp, texture, and mesh set I had. Sort of a bare chested Belgae or Gaulish look. As the submission builds to about 75, I take off the collars of leashing and replace them with a gold torc and rename them from Thrall to Clansmen/Clanswoman. I'm setting them aside to be my kinsmen in my new clan, but they will always be slaves as it is.

 

In the old European days, Thralldom was not always permanent. War captives and criminals might be slaves for life, but Thrall children were born free as members of the clan/tribe and Thralls could win freedom in various ways, by being wise councilors, healers, or through valor in war.

 

I'm just wondering of it can be done, and if so, if there is enough of a community desire to see it done besides my personal feelings. So it could become an official addon.

 

I'm not a modder, so I can't do it myself or this post never would have happened. The mods run smoothly as they are and I want the "Freedman" mod to be in the family and not standalone.

thats possible but that adds a whole new faction so u would need to do all the faction coding which at times can be alot.

probaly your best bid for now is to use U get a slave. u can sell slaves to npc in towns. they follow the npc and do random stuff that deals with that npc job. if u sell unique npc they get added to a pool and if sold u can see soemwehre else. so if u sell  gerdur to her husband later she might be resold and u see her in  riften oknce a town is a town for selling slaves

Me likes it already!

These Options would make PAHE more complex, dangerous and flexible:

Naw, the faction thing doesn't have to happen, unless you mean "Freedmen" would need to be a faction. The Wrothgarian thing is just my personal bag.

release them to be marked for delete already a thing, just had to fix the dialog pertaining to it. next update adds a new working dialog to all voice types as well as an additional mcm debug feature for any slaves that don't have that option for some odd bug but this:

gets confusing at times as to exactly which faction/faction rank combination allows the npc to be eligible followers without additional help from outside sources once they're no longer slaves and without making them permanent followers

 

revolting slaves would also need a different can of faction worms. paradise halls at 1 time had a chance for a slave to fight back, but i'm guessing it tried to do it without factions and wreaked havoc as that part of the framework was disabled before i came along

I meant DON'T delete them after they are set free ?

I know they get deleted after release (or do they?)

I meant = deletion is a worse fate than slavery (at least slavery in my game *cough, cough*)

oh lol, sufficiently trained slaves should have that in already to stay behind without being deleted. think i might have added an additional exception with this update to slaves wearing the dwarven dd suits and over time i'll be thinking up more conditions for released slaves to remain in game as i work out the potential follower factions

 

 

  • Pahe_lives_on-7.3.7:
  • checks for NiO before attempting to use it
  • additional DDi keywords added to the DD features as soft dependencies if installed
  • all voice types should now have the strip command
  • all voice types should now have the command to get dressed
  • known bug that the slave doesn't always know its naked after a sexlab scene, workaround is to tell the slave to strip first then get dressed

  • all voice types should now have working release topic dialogues
  • mcm should now include additional fall back method of release
  • additional translation options added to the mcm lines
  • slave page has been split after first 50 slaves with additional slaves on the next page
  • more devious restraints added to slave training (should now include all combat restrictions)
  • devious gags added to respect training
  • some dialogues have also been blocked to gagged slaves and replaced with a zaz mpph response, but this particular change will require alot of dialogue updates before its completely effective
  • found and fixed a bug in enslavement that would cause ctd

ask them to fight then tell them to wait around here should allow them to guard a certain area. haven't tested the guard radius

more definitive answer would depend how old the save was since i've seen some recent posts from people still running older versions. this as well:

seen your response in another thread so i don't have to ask what version of dd you're running with it. while the new code is able to work with dd without requiring it, i will have to highly suggest that anybody using dd4.x, be certain to atleast use dd4.3a. i don't believe pahe to be dependent on any certain versions, but the fixes made in the latest dd update will greatly improve performance if you render those devices in game. for an example how serious that update is, refer to the "footik bug"

sorry can't help that, i went the other direction to remove the other animations and keep dd. i do however commend you for pointing that out cuz xxl says it raises that animation cap, but it also says it comes with a risk for more ctd's so anybody out there looking for help with stabilizing their game should keep this in mind

by the time i dig up how to do it in order to explain it to you how to do it would then cost me double the work of just doing it myself. as i told a friend of mine recently, too much to do with too little time to do it. give you another example recently somebody requested we use racemenu morphs, but i couldn't give that yet without first fixing the hidden requirement for nilO or racemenu. other users would also like to have fixes put in for quest npc's that have been discovered not to respond properly and then there are still those that would like to see a slave's life after slavery or even some combat training that teaches the slave to fight better. in order to improve pahe and still keep my sanity, i have to prioritize based on what i can do and revisit other features later.

 

another thing i'd like to work on is reworking the leveled actorbase so that npc's that don't have a leveled actorbase of their own will be provided 1. sorta like miranda rites for slaves. you have the right to a leveled actorbase, if you can not afford 1, it will be provided for you!!
