mod works well. but female npcs[from npc retexture mod] have wired texture bug at hand.

works fine with nameless or not unique npcs

do you have idea?

Edit1 : works well with ver 37 but not 38

Latest version seems to apply diffuse texture even if option is unselected. EG, if you enable beast races, khajiit will start getting human textures.

The latest version has a glitch that mismatches the body's colour from the head, hands and presumably, the feet (haven't chacked)

This should now be fixed in the latest version (39).

I'm using v39 that supposedly fixed the darker head bug via texture swapping, but it's still happening for me, the only way around the bug was to swap to a vanilla race which "fixed" it, but I don't wanna be using vanilla race for obvious reasons.

I actually got rid of the darker head issue by enabling face overlays on nioverride.ini (by changing 0 to 1 on the line bEnableFaceOverlays=1) but that sort of messes up my racemenu preset and my char no longer looks pretty when the wet overlays apply, so I still don't tick the head on mcm menu.

Please consider adding the effect to be applied on frostfall waterfalls if it's possible, so you get max effect as if you were swimming, that would be really nice :D

Just looked through this whole topic and couldn't find a single reference to Wet Function Redux compatibility with Requiem.  Anybody try it before?  I'm currently trying to use WFR with Requiem and getting nothing.  Placed WFR before & after Requiem on the load order and still nothing.  The MCM for WFR looks like it's working properly but forcing wet textures on my characters even after exerting a lot of stamina, running around, and sexlab scenes have no change.  I can see the specular maps on my characters but that's normal.

I definitely have the required textures from Sweaty Skin Auto Adjustment (only the 4k textures) as described on the WFR requirements.
Main textures on characters are Demoniac textures.  Using WFR ver. 39.

I used run 37 and Requiem with no problem, but I've stopping playing Requiem, requires too many compatibility patches, and found the static level nature conflicted with most mods here.

Are you using a custom race by any chance?

I'm really enjoying this mod, it adds a lot to my immersion.  Great work.

My Tembtra Thief armor doesn't seem to work well with it, however.  I have the 2k cbbe hdt main file, the cbbe-tbbp optional file, and the bodyslide miscellaneous files installed.  I hardly have any experience working with meshes/textures but any chance anyone can tell me how I can make the above armor compatible?  The wet body textures don't apply themselves most of the time when equipping that armor.  I have one other armor that has this issue but I'm hoping I can apply the same fix that's applied tembtra armor if one exists.

PS Just to be clear, Wet Function correctly works on everything else, so I don't think it's an install issue.

There appears to be a conflict between Wet Function Redux and Player Succubus Quest.

With both mods active:

Everything loads as usual (using ASLAL). In testing this, I waited until all the system messages ended.

QuickSave, QuickLoad

Estrus Spider, Estrus Chaurus and Wet Function Redux menus register with MCM

SexLab 1.62 automatically installs.

Waited for all system messages to end

QuickSave, QuickLoad

Go into MCM and enable "Become the Succubus"

QuickSave, QuickLoad-CTD

I did the same steps with one or the other mod inactive and there is no CTD on QuickLoad.

I was using PSQ 3.2.6 with no problems, after reading your post I decided to update to 3.2.8a (the latest at the time of this writing) to see if I could get your problem and I was unable to.  I'm using the mods you listed (ASLAL is the alternate start mod right?).  Anywho, I don't use quicksave or quickloading as I've found quicksaving can make my saves unstable over long periods of time (I even disable autosaving) however normal saving and loading works in my game.

This may be a problem related to something other than Wet Function or PSQ specifically.  When I first started modding my skyrim, and after installing some resource intensive mods, I found that my game would often crash on loading.  I got around this temporarily by starting a new game and then loading my file from there.  This got really tiring after a while and I ended up installing all sorts of mods to make my heavy save files more stable.  Some things you can look into are the enboost mod (I don't use a graphics enhancing enb but the mod used to make those possible have a couple of fixes), and the crash fixes mod.  Along with those mods I altered their ini files and my skyrim/skse ini files to get everything right.  I would tell you what I changed specifically but that was so long ago and such a long process that I don't remember it anymore.  Eventually I got my skyrim so stable that I can load into any game whenever I want and hardly experience any CTDs anymore (the only CTDs I have are when I'm playing for a long period and have a TON of scripts running at a moment because of a bunch of events happening simultaneously, this happens only rarely).

Anyway, hope you can find a fix soon.

Well, this is a completely fresh install, from the game on up.

226 mods, all installed manually

Got the ENB memory stuff added, but no ENB itself

Edited the relevant *.ini files

Pretty much doing everything the way I have done for years.

The thing is, this problem showed up only after the fresh install. But, if its affecting only me, then that means its likely a combination of 3 or more mods with something out of place in my load order.

Load order from LOOT:

Hey, thanks for responding.  No, I don't use a custom race.  All Vanilla races for sure.  Where was WFR placed in your load order when you were using it with Requiem?  And what's "run 37"?

Version 37, I just let loot determine the load order.

Yikes, LOOT likes to put Requiem up at the top of my load order.  I currently have about 15 patches and 3 mods that must be loaded after Requiem but before Requiem for the Indifferent patch in order to work in-game!  Lol.

You can add rules in LOOT telling it to load each of those mods after Requiem. Once they are created it will never move Requiem in front of them again.

Really thank you for your work. But I came across some minor performance problem: the frame rate drops down every now and then. It seems that it's reading the texture. So I want to ask if it reads texture every time the actor changes wetness? If so, I presume it would be better to cache the texture in the RAM instead of reading it every time. After all it is a rather frequent situation when the actor gets soaked or dries up.

I've been very happy with this mod since it was released, and I pretty much just ignored the fact that i had no specmap on my head (I tried everything suggested and that came to mind to sort it out, my spec map shows up without this mod (default spec map from my custom race folder) but there is no map/spec on the head of my character with this mod.

So I got the urge to fix it again, would someone mind helping me out?

I need someone who uses this mod with their custom race and it actually works for them (spec on head/body/hands/feet etc).

Just need an upload of your custom races femalebody .nif and textures so i can compare to mine because I know its not a custom race .esp issue, i've checked in ck. so it's either my nifs/textures or this mod doesnt like the temptress race.

Cheers

how do i get wet face textures? i have head checked in the MCM but i was never able to get any of the effects to work on the head.

Anyone know the fix?

Anyone know where i can get unp Wet Face textures? how does sweat, specular, and glossiness on female faces? because face seems to be unaffected when trying to edit these values in MCM

Hi,

I keep getting the grey-face bug when the NPC gets wet, particularly with the NPC make-over mod KZ style NPC. (Specifically the KZ style Orc). Can you please tell me how it can be fixed? It seems to be something clashing with the specular texture as it will not revert back to the original facial texture afterwards. Thanks.

Hello,

I have no ide why but wet function is not working for me: at first I tought of some installation issues but that wasn't the case.

Not working-I mean I can't get sweaty or wet, though, I can use the force value options to set up sweaty body-I have all the default options.
