Can I make this work with sky female textures?

And If I can, how?

First i offer an apology because english is not my native language.

I use that textures too, this mod only swap the following files: femalebody_1_s.dds, femalehands_1_s.dds and femalehead_s.dds (if you are using the head swaping option in MCM of course), install the SKY texture mod normally but about the files that i mentioned above better you must use any that looks dry.

Hi will you make this mod for Skyrim SE ?

If only people could read. The mod REQUIRES SKSE. SKSE is not out yet. Shame that the same bullshit comment is asked for other mods that require SKSE when you can find out yourself.

Second case: The texture body applied correctly but the head is not working, this is because the string of the "head part" containing the information about the head in the .nif file is not the same as "head part" name in the plugin file (the .esp of the follower mod that have the issue), you will have to modify the name of the head part in the .esp file with tes5edit (i use tes5edit, is faster and easy) putting the same name that the .nif file has.

For example, in the .nif file the "head part" about the head is called like "FemaleHeadNord", but in the .esp, in the head part section, that is called "FemaleHead", you will have to modified for "FemaleHeadNord" like the .nif file has. Doing this should fix this Issue.

Now this wonderful mod works like a charm for me, i hope this works for you. Sorry again for this english, i hope you can understand the whole thing.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem with a custom follower I'm using. The body does get wet, but the head is not. It is working fine on other characters. Can you exlpain your fix in more detail? I tried but did not get it to work properly. I attached a screenshot of the nif file and the setting in Tes5Edit.

So I have the same issue where the "HEAD" tick box under "Texture overriding" is grayed out, but I've managed to figure it out with the help of the forum.

I want to share what worked for me and hopefully save others time as I spent several hours trying all sorts of methods (like messing with nif files).
-Note: I use MO if that matters for file location and such.

1. So first I got this file linked by xGunner1

For the face textures I would just use the speculars that come with the Fair Skin Complexion wet option, here is the uncompressed version I got from it(UNP)

attachicon.giffemalehead_s.dds

2. Then following this exchange...

For me it works on body and hands, but not on the head.

I didn't quite understand the instructions on enabling head texture swapping though. I got the head texture, but I can't seem to find the relevant option in the MCM menu. There's a "Texture overriding" section under visuals, and the HEAD option is disabled, but greyed out and unclickable.

Anyone know if I'm missing something?

In the visuals tab of MCM scroll down and you should see a checkbox for "HEAD". Tick that and it should enable it, granted you have the correct head texture and it is name appropriately

Under "Texture overriding"? The HEAD box is greyed out, I can't tick it.

What's the head texture supposed to be named?

wethead_s in the wetfunction folder

I renamed the file I had download to wethead_s and dropped it into my WetFunction folder, which is inside the folder for my "wet unp textures" @ (...\Skyrim\Mod Organizer\mods\UNP Textures-4K-Uncompressed (Wet)\Textures\Actors\Character\WetFunction).

And that was is it. Next time I launched the game the box wasn't gray and I could tick it, Hurrah!

Hello Silverwing, I am seeing that you are editing the wrong .NIF file, you have to edit the file located in:

"meshes\actors\character\FaceGenData\FaceGeom\follower.esp\"

The "follower.esp" folder will have a name like the .esp file of your standalone follower mod (like "FollowerLilu.esp" or something like that). Inside of that folder you will find a .nif file with a name like "00000D62.NIF" (this is an example), that file is the correct file.

Both head parts must have the same name (just the "Female Head" head part, ignore the others head parts). You can edit either, the .nif file or the plugin file, but i recommend to you make the change on the plugin only, in my opinion is more safe and faster.

Sorry for my poor english.

Hi, I just wanna say thank you for your work on this mod. I simply can't play without it anymore, absolutely love it!!!  :D

I noticed the wet textures loaded perfectly the first time I launched the mod, but since then only the specularity and glossiness changes take effect any time I get wet.

I don't mind that since the effect looks awesome on it's own with my ENB, however when it comes to NPCs, I noticed the wet effect only gets applied to males.

The effect works on my female character and male npcs but not female npcs. I've tried to troubleshoot the issue myself and was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what the problem might be.

Thanks again^^

Just recently found out about this thanks to MXR and loving it so far. Some suggestions: A slider in MCM for DD restraints like armbinders (come on, no sweat from struggling?). Also I wonder if it's even possible to make a head texture for drooling in the case of gags, that would be pretty sweet. Hope to see this mod do well in the future.

You need to read the MCM closer, there's already check boxes to enable wetness for DD stuff.

I see only 1 checkbox (player only) and 3 sliders (vibration, orgasm and edge). What I'm taking about is a slider for simply wearing an armbinder (or sliders for other devices). Unless of course that's already there and I'm not seeing it for some reason.

Edit: On the topic of wetness sources, what exactly does stamina usage mean? There are already sliders for sprinting and running.

Edit 2: Oh nvm, it must be for power attacks

So after more testing it seems I was wrong. Apparently struggling does use some stamina, which I assume is affected by the stamina usage slider. So then does the slider affect running and sprinting as well since they have their own sliders?

Joining screenshot to pinpoint the menu problem.

Having this exact same problem. Seemed to work fine at first, started a new game and suddenly had a neck seam. Head option's greyed out too. No idea what to try next.

Awesome mod, thanks for sharing your work.

May I make a petition? Would you consider to add a "towel" item so you can lower the player's wetness value to 0 at any time?

Again, thank you for your work.

I solved my problem some time ago. i simply didn't have head textures with the right name at the right place. You need to place some head sweat textures in the mod folder (with the appropriate file name, see opening post for that).

Hello there. Really great mod one thing though, the mod doesnt seem to work for npcs added by populated cities and populated roads. Anyone know why?

Hello, the mod seems to work well. However, i do notice my character's head doesn't get the shine that my body gets, and i really don't know how to configure the mcm

To either lessen the effect so it's not so obvious, or to make it less noticable. Could somebody please post and tell me how? :(

The effect is not enabled for the head by default, because textures applied to the head will cause a crash when a decapitation event occurs.

You should disabled decapitations via console or with a mod like Violens before enabling the head texture under target in the MCM.

Do we need to install the original file first, or just be sure to have it's textures?

EDIT: I went ahead a gave it a shot, with the original installed as it seemed implied, just not explicitly stated, and everything works phenomenally, thanks so much!

Is this mod compatible with Sexlab's cum textures? More specifically, vaginal/anal cum splatter textures?

Yes, since this only uses specular maps. Sexlab's cum textures uses shaders.
