Oldrim was a big long term success. Nobody would still buy and play Skyrim without the incomparable mod capabilities of Oldrim.  And not only because of adult mods.

No company (especially no US company) likes it when its products are associated with pornography - with the exception of porn companies.

 

I hoped the Slaves of Rome could be a replacement - but unfortunately it has zero mod capabilities.

 

So at the end it seems that Oldrim is the last game that can be turned completely into a porno game.

I am not even sure it's because they are embarrassed by what we did with their game. Beth could have patched out our ability to create adult content at any time in the past, while leaving most other modding potential largely intact. Breaking FNIS would have done the trick quite nicely. They didn't. I guess because they know that we're a large part of why Skyrim is still alive and kicking after all these years.

 

The deeper problem is the industry's shift towards including microtransactions in literally every game these days, even the offline ones. They found out that it's much more profitable not just to sell games, but continue reaching in people's wallets even while they play. But their mini-DLCs won't sell all that well if we can create that cheap stuff they're marketing in their microtransactions stores in 5 minutes and release it as a free mod. Modding has to die not because they suddenly resent what we're doing, but because it's competing against their newest favorite cash-cow.

 

Result will be the same, though. Fallout 4 will probably go down in history as the last game having meaningful modding support. That or the microtransactions hype will fade away before TES6 will launch, but this would involve people stopping to buy reskinned weapons and clothing for $15 a piece. Can't blame publishers to cash in, if people are so willing to throw away money.

they will not get bored. 
usually there is a target group of about 20% of the community which spends like 80% of the money. And they are the ones all "features" are made for. 
They are power customers and they will never change their behaviour because they can buy "attention" for money. and they have the money. its peanuts for them. Or they are addicted. Or they just dont have anything else to spend it on. 

Usually those 20% are also those people who you like the least in online games, haha...

Had an idea for the prostitution portion of this mod. If the player ends up a whore to their housecarl in their own house, the player can be whored out from their own house so a menu will show like the menu from the whore training session for visitor and the player selects what npc will be the next customer. I think the current mod already supports something like this but a location has to be setup with the builder spells?

Indeed, every game must generate constant revenue. The sad reality of the AAA game industry right now. Companies paying their workers as little as they can, working them to death, to produce live service trash, full of exploitative mechanics, to squeeze money out of its consumer base, to satisfy investors, who don't care about video games as an art form.

 

The Elderscrolls dies if 6 ends up a live service cash grab like Fallout76. . . If it's not dead already. I'm hopeful the spin off trash like 76 and Blades they've been shilling lately doesn't ruin the mainline titles in the series. But I'm ready to be disappointed.

 

P.S. Still love this mod Zaira, glad to see you're still working on it after all this time. Keep doing what you do, as always.

The one thing that can kill any hope for porn mods in their future games is a multiplayer mode. It won't matter if there is a single player mode along with it, we have seen what the mod tools devs do once multiplayer is added. They wimp out and refuse to update their mod tools like nifskope to support the new game. So if either ES6 or SF has multiplayer we can just get used to playing porn mods in oldrim or failout 4.

I have re-created a small submissive Maria Prostitution mod - it is feature complete now.

The functionality is very limited compared to Maria Eden but it is stable.

It consists of several mods:

 

MariaBase (base for all Maria mods)

• Outfit Manager
• Pose Manager
• Sexlab Animation Manager
• Location Manager
• NPC Manager
• Restraints Manager

MariaProstituion

• Player can work as prostitute
• Innkeepers can be turned into cashiers (otherwise they prevent you from hooking in their tavern)
• Follower can be turned into your Pimp
• Pimp allocates new customers for you
• Pimp invites you to buy a whoring outfit when you have earned enough money
• Dog can be turned into a follower
• Breakin quest (whore training)
• Dog follower and bandits will rape you sometimes if you walk around naked

 

Brothel and NPC whore handling will come later...

 

Restrictions:

• No more configuration menus - some options can be changed in json config files
• No ZAP furniture handling (yet)
• No SLA support
• German language (voice support), English probably (without voice)
• Based on ZAP slavery framework

 

DD restraints will probably work.

 

My estimation is a public beta release this month.

please reember some things that lead to game killer in ME :

pimp looking for Clients and Clients approaching brought old women and  beggars, they came again and again. if refused, their ai was broken and they stand on their spot forever.

followers did not redress, so they did not work for ME. i created an enchanted ring to solve that.

Repeating sex with same Client should be possible, offering different types of sex Entertainment. cash at the end.

Gangbang with mulitple thressomes, foursomes erc should be enabled. let the whole inn or Military camp jump on her.

 

Radiant Prostitution in wrath slayers  or gigoglos Version works well and has best Features.  but no zaz, no creatures except in a few quests,

tdf prostituion works perfect for followers and npcs as whores. again , only oral vaginal and anal sex, nothing else.

Random sex attack enables this kind of gangbang, even with creatures. it does not work with quest npcs and has quite a long cooldown.

• If a dog is involved in a Job he might decide to become your permanent follower - install Sexlab More Creatures and there are huskies in many taverns
• Clothes: the johns gets a timed strip spell - this spell automatically gets dispelled on cell change and timeouts. So even if a scene is broken, after a while the John will redress.
• Cascaded jobs: I tried that but it was to complex for me - the new MEP has a kind of cascade - the john could ask the whore to lick cum from the floor or his penis...

I have some ideas for miniquests; (Some of them are similair to your previous quests)

 

Whore (Non-bdsm)

- Tribute: In order to be allowed to whore in the city, your pimp sends you to the steward of the local hold for mutually beneficial exchange (A bit more fun then just buying the license)

- Asset inflation: Some clients have complained about your meagre appearance, see the alchemist to increase your assets (Increase weight or use bodymorphs from bodyslide) 

- Home visit: Speaks for itself, a client wants you to visit him/her at his/her own house ( A fun variation of this would be "Couples therapy" in which the husband/wife wants to spice up the marriage)

- Wizards bargain: A (court) wizard wants to make a deal with a dremora, but the dremora demands mortal carnal pleasure in exchange.

- Inspiring the troops: Your pimp got a request from a nearby warcamp for some entertainment 

 

Some creature quests;

- Price stallion: a horsemaster wants to sell his price stallion sperm, but needs someone to extract it.

- Giant appeasement: Some farmers are being harassed by farms, they need to bring an offering to appease them

- Chaurus pie: An alchemist/wizard needs to extract some "alchemical components" from a chaurus and needs your unique skillset to do so.

- Bdsm versions of Nobles party and home visit (Speaks for itself, but the player char gets delivered in bdsm gear)

- Dwemer test subject; Calcelmo needs a subject to test some dwemer machines. 

- Ingredient extraction; An alchemist needs human milk, your pimp sends you into a painful looking machine.
