Thank you. How could I determine what hair I'm using right now?

As kjergaard said.

Furthermore, YPS will send a message to the console when it changes the hairstyle.

I know it may be a tall ask but could Sha's Equipable Nails be converted to UBE? I love playing with this mod and have it enabled on my current playthrough but I am using UBE for my character on this one.

That's something you need to ask the original mod author.

So will the next update (any idea on ETA) include the next stage(s) of 'A Woman in Skyrim'? I noticed that Ysla (Ylsa?) in Windhelm mentioned underwear. So will we now have access to fur lined undies?😂

Is there a way to register a mod as high-heels for this mod? I have a set of armor I would like to wear, and have it be seen as high heels, but can't figure out how to get this mod to accept them as high heels.

They are automatically detected. Unless you are using something incredibly bizarre that doesn't use any of the normal methods of getting heels to lift a character model they should work.  If you are having trouble beyond that you should at least give the name of the mod you are trying to use.

Its not a traditional high heel mod, which is why I was asking how to do it myself.
Here is the armor mod:
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29411?tab=description
The armor I am currently using from it does have heels, but its not registered. I don't mind setting it up myself, I just don't know how.

I don't know if there is a work around for these.  This looks to be a super outdated version of the various tera collection mods.  To understand the problem you need to understand how high heels work in skyrim.  Armor kind of hovers at a set distance away from the players skeleton to make it look like a character is wearing it.  If you stick a heel spike on a heel the players foot will still stand on the ground and the spike will clip into the floor. There are three solutions to this problem that have been developed.

-Cut out a section of the players shin and raise the players foot to make space for a high heel

-Use an in game spell to levitate the player off the ground to make room for the heel (from a mod called HDT heels)

-Use the extra options bundled with race menu to add a modifier to the .nif file that tells the game what the armor looks like (NiOveride)

I listed those in various orders of goodness.  The first ones look absolutely awful "once you see it" so skyrim modders universally don't use the method anymore.  It was a holdover from modding other games where there was no other option.  Now almost everything uses NiOveride.  YPS detects if an equipped item has the NiOveride modifier lifting your character. I believe it still also detects HDT heels as well even though that solution has become very unpopular.

Your mod I believe uses the hold shin cut method. I didn't dig that deep but their is no NiOveride modifier and a lot of the picture do look like the characters thigh are twice the length of their shins.

My advice is to use a more modern version of the mod. like this one https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/3281-ladyhorus-tera-armor-for-uunp-females-and-vanilla-males-ver-29-4-9-2021/. Or similar.

Ah, I thought it might have been as simple as adding a keyword to something, but if its not I can get if it is a bit above what I might be able to do myself. I can look into getting a more recent armor mod, I didn't look too long. I do use CBBE though, so I might go looking for one that has files for that.
Thanks for the help and suggestions, and taking the time to find a replacement mod

Go back about two - three months in the posts here. I seem to recall a discussion about this same issue. If I remember correctly, there is a way to add a keyword to the actual item you want to designate as being high heels which tells the game to treat the boots as high heeled. If I'm right, you will need to make the change in SSEEdit. Not real difficult but if you have never used SSEEdit, you might want to check out a YouTube tutorial on using it first.

The last time any sort of date was mentioned I believe it was either "mid November at the earliest" or "not before mid November". Since then Emily has mentioned that she's busy dealing with stuff and work on the mod has slowed down. We haven't had any dates since but there's a general vibe that it's drawing near.

I postponed working on the "A Woman in Skyrim" quest, and focused getting the next update done.

v. 6.9:
Dibella quest:
- New feature: body morphing. After being changed to female form, player will start out flat breasted with slim hips, and develop female curves during the quest over time; morph values are configurable (see notes below)
- Bimbos of Skyrim integration: Player can now accumulate Bimbo corruption over the whole quest, with the option to be turned into a Bimbo when the quest ends. (Bimbos of Skyrim is required)
- reworked the breast operation quest stages (stages 870-930)
- added several dialog lines all over the quest
- added one more quest stage leading to the "forced" quest branch (which is still unfinished)
- professional nail job from Yolie is now working
- flirt success rate with romantic quest partners is now set to 100%
- when dealing with the city council, Brill does no longer show a quest marker but is still a viable dialog partner to proceed with the quest (in case that Proventus Avenicci is no longer available because of the Civil War)
- new MCM values:
-- forced name change can be turned off
-- option to show black screen upon first breast examination (useful when body morph is not enabled)
restarting the quest is required

other changes:
- SE: added facegen data to the YPS vendors to avoid the black face bug (big thanks to @zelurker for providing the files)
- fixed an issue of nails not being applied correctly during professional nail session
- hair control should now fire up properly upon starting a new game as female or getting gender changed to female
- reduced NPC comment rate by 80%
- now supporting piercings from DX Fetish Fashion Volume 1+2 SE: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/65998, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/70489
- will now play a sound when head hair is growing
- will now play a sound when Bimbo nails are growing
- provided new sound and texture packs (for SE and LE): now all meshes and textures have been move to the packs, to decrease the size of the main mod file.
Installing the new sound&texture pack (LE or SE) is required (load order should not matter, but better put them before the main mod)

Notes on Body morphing:
- Prerequisites: (1) Skeleton with morphs; (2) check the "build morphs" check box when building the meshes in bodyslide
- the ypsBodymorphsLE/SE.json contains 3 values for each morphing feature: The first one is what you get when wearing belt+bra the first time (breasts should be completely flat, and the player should have androgynous body features), the second value is what you get when after the first breast operation (very small breasts, the rest basically unchanged), the third one is the final female form reached at the quest end (with fully developed breasts and curves)
- a special value is "bodyheight" which refers to the size (height) of the player’s body; this is not influenced by the skeleton, but is using the setscale command from Skyrim (so this will work even if no morphable skeleton has been installed)
- The default body morph values in the ypsBodymorphsLE/SE.json files refer to the following configurations:

LE:
XP 32 maximum skeleton extended 4.67 (or higher) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68000
Caliente's Beautiful Bodies Edition v3.4f-2666-3-4f (or higher) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/2666

SE:

XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended-1988-4-81-1660739371 (or higher) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1988
CBBE 3BA (3BBB)-30174-2-47-1676473395 (or higher) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/30174

Further note:

I moved all meshes and textures from the main mod file to the sound&texture pack, so the main mod file size got smaller. The new sound&texture packs will still work with previous YPS versions (install the main mod after the packs in load order).

Is it save to update from 6.8 mid game? I'm just got to Windhelm with warm clothes quest

Quick question, the lite version not getting an update. Does it mean the lite version is 100% complete?

From time to time I will do a new lite version based on the current full version, but only if there has been an important update (and if I have time), which is about once every 1-2 years.

The newest version adds mostly to the Dibella quest, which is not available with the lite version anyway.

Plus, I strongly recommend you use the full version if you have SL installed.

Yes, it should work well. Only exception is if you have started the Dibella quest, which might cause problems (especially when you are doing the breast op part).

Is the full version heavy on script? I been running a lot of LL mods from bos, public whore, sister dibella and etc... my game been showing sign of stuttering whenever I add more LL mods that are heavy on script.

And is it safe to replace LITE version with full version mid game?

The lite and the full version are both script heavy.

Lite means: no adult prerequisites, e.g. no sexlab, no DD

Replacing the versions mid game is not recommended.

Since you are using a lot of LL mods anyway, I strongly recommend you use the full version of YPS.

Just an FYI for anyone wanting to use UBE with this mod. There is a UBE patch on the UBE discord server.

Again thanks for a truly wonderful mod Emily1673.

Can anyone confirm the SE version quest for this mod is working flawlessly, 100%?

I did a walkthrough on SE and it worked flawlessly :)

I got a "soft lock" bug. When equipping nylons AND other is already equipped AND something blocking equip for example boots, THEN the endless cycle of equips begin with popup message, so no chance to exit to menu and load game. After awhile game crashed

Not sure exactly how the body morphs are supposed to work. Had a walkthrough that I have been playing that I decided to use with the latest yps version. I loaded a save from before I went to the College so there would be not random Dibella Quest stuff in the save. Went to the College, met Lena, did the initial Solitude trip, came back without any makeup, met with Lena again, got the Belt and Bra, put them on. Game said I needed to create a female character in RaceMenu. Opened RaceMenu, used a female preset that I had made earlier. Now, in RaceMenu this character had good sized breasts (guessing about a D Cup) and a clearly feminine figure. When I returned to the quest from RaceMenu her figure, including the breasts, didn't change to almost non-existent breasts, androgynous torso, so I tried again thinking that perhaps using a preset somehow messed up the morphs. Back in RaceMenu I created a new female from scratch, saved her and returned to the quest. Again, the new PC did not have her body morph into the flat chested, androgynous torso not-quite-a-female/not-quite-a-male like Emily talked about in her post. So either something isn't working right in the quest or I'm doing something wrong... probably the latter.

Oh, I did not make any changes to the body morph JSON so I don't think that's the source of the problem.

Vagrant thought - should I have created the female PC as a flat chested, slim hipped androgynous character? It's not clear in either the post announcing the new release or on the description page that is what should be done, if in fact that is what should be done.

I am so afraid of experiencing the same problem.

Please post what is wrong/ fix when this is figured out.

Likely tomorrow or certainly before Sunday I plan to update YPS and add BOS and I will post any issues.

It doesn't seem to interfere with the overall game, so far it's just a mild glitch. Haven't progressed enough this playthrough to tell if there will be later morphs or not. If not, I will be posting again.
