Previous gender changes should have no impact on the Dibella quest. But you need to be a male when starting out.

If Ray mentions it later since Lena would have mentioned it earlier but Ray would not. Having him coming out with that would reinforce the feeling that it's acceptable/normal etc when really two (almost*) completely separate people have made the same suggestion (**) without talking to each other.

** They could blatantly have discussed it during the optional big drama. In fact, Ray could have asked Lena to do it, she turned him down, then he asks the player character to do it instead (although that could also be covered later when talking to Lena about the whole affair if she blurts out "I even got my nipples pierced for him"***. She doesn't have to be wearing anything in them. She could say she's taking them out because she's so upset at what he's done, she could say that one of the piercings became infected so she removed them or even that she tried it, didn't like it, and just let the holes heal up. The player can always force her to equip nipple piercings later on if they want to. They could even pretend it's because she got them pierced earlier (or that they managed to persuade her where Ray failed).

*** Now this is tricky as she initially claimed she didn't have the courage to get her ears pierced and had to work up to it. If she did, it would be after she initially suggested it to the player so an initial suggestion wouldn't include her bragging that "I got mine done so you could do yours" but would be more along the lines of "I've heard some girls even get little studs or rings put in them. I don't think I'd ever dare do that myself but you might." Later, if she suggests it a second time I she might then claim she's done it now or say she's considering it but doesn't quite feel brave enough but, if the player did it, maybe "I'll do it if you do too.****" At this point I don't think she should mention Ray talked her into it but he wouldn't have done because the big drama only occurs if the player went down the Ray relationship path instead.

****Actually I think I've had a better idea. Don't have Lena say "I'll do it if you do" but have that be a player response, something along the lines of "okay but after we're doing yours too". That would never need to lead to anything (especially if Lena responds somewhat unenthusiastically with something like "we'll see" or "perhaps" etc) but could easily be a Bimbo dialog option. Of course BOS could always be used to pierce Lena's nipples later if the player doesn't want to sue Devious Devices or just hand her some nipple piercings and tell Sexlab Strip Item editor to never remove them when Lena's having sex.

During the big drama there's no option to get your own back on Ray by getting together with Lena. You have to wait for the relationship to with Ray to end then wait through the heartache before finally being able to get together with Lena weeks later.

 

It might be nice to have a spiteful option along the liens of "you know what, sister? We're not going to let a man come between us and spoil our friendship. In fact, do you know what we should really do to show him?..." Of course this means the player being bi sexual (at least for part of the Dibella quest). Lena could insist on some sort exclusivity or a "no men" clause. "We let a man come between us once before. Now swear never again. No more men." This could actually flip the player's sexuality from bi sexual to straight lesbian (with a lot of male sexual experience that she's now got to put behind her) or it could be a purely roleplay choice with no flipping whatsoever.

 

Also I imagine Lena's "no men" clause might depend on whether the player still has a penis (encased in steel). She might not insist on no men if the player went full female because "having one penis in the relationship is quite enough for now." In fact she might find the imprisoned penis more acceptable because it's trapped in a cage and can't hurt her. There could even be a possible sadistic side to this where she allows a relationship but only if she's allowed to tease/punish/bully the attached penis once first. Perhaps call it bad names or draw a silly face on it or something. The, after emasculating the thing that reminds her of Ray's betrayal, she's willing to put it behind her and embark on an allegedly (blatantly not really healthy) healthy relationship.

 

Also Lena's mid Dibella quest dialogue might need to be customised as, out of the entire population of Skyrim, she's the only person apart from and the player who's got a pretty good idea what's under that belt.

 I turned on fashion addiction for males (character is wearing belt and bra). Ever since I got a level of fashion addiction, I have this strange dark morph that shifts around on my character. 

 

What is wrong?

Do I need BOS for fashion addiction?

Am I missing a mod?

Or is my mod order wrong? 

Or is this just a glitch?

Does anyone have the UNP version of Xinafay barefeet meshes? The ones in YPS have a deformed texture, likely being CBBE meshes. I did track down the UNP LE version and used Cathedral to convert that to SE. I still need to check, but I don't have the files for barefoot_uh_0 and 1.

These are the UNP meshes I did with Cathedral, they look ok in the viewer but I haven't checked ingame yet.

 I am having problems in making the Lux black leather sultry gloves fingerless. I have tried multiple 5th slot keywords and nothing seems to work, so some suggestion would be appreciated.

 

For some reason I cannot get the  SSEEdit image to show  but the gloves already have 4 keywords for armorlight, armormaterialglass, armorgauntlets and vendorItemarmor.

 

 

Addendum

 

As soon as I re-installed YPS the keyword adder file ( YPSNailKYWD_0.2) appeared  in the MCM and it worked. Many thanks to both authors.

 

One minor problem: I an se the thumbnail but not the others so I gather that nail extensions are necessaey. Is this correct as she actually has long fingers?

Is there some reason why the breast size is mentioned? When the Girdle is first donned there is some comment, either by Lena or Urag, to the effect that the PC appears as a small breasted woman. Later, following the breast surgery, there is another comment to effect that the surgeon gave the PC small breasts. It's not a big deal, in fact I just noticed it in my latest playthrough. Just wondering why.

I think it might be for the creator to add more options to the story line.

Started a new playthrough last week, and hit a roadblock with the professional nail job in Solitude. Nail polish application could not proceed with this error message:

Missing: "Nail form /{divine elegance] almond/ red/ does not exist"

Got the same message for "[yps] almond/ red/" iirc.

Got past the roadblock by renaming yps red glitter in the json file to match the "almond/ red/" query. Wrong way to fix it, I think, but noob. And it worked.

Exact same prob on a new playthrough.

 

Fix confirmed, I used a different entry though and modified the line for:

"[yps] almond shimmery cherry": "252182|yps-ImmersivePiercing.esp",

to

"[yps] almond red": "252182|yps-ImmersivePiercing.esp",

 

Possible solution may be add a new line:

"[yps] almond red": "252182|yps-ImmersivePiercing.esp",

replacing the 252182 with what ever the colour code for red would be.

I tried this version, both Lite and normal. The thoughts etc, do not interest me and I did not use them in the MCM. My simple aim was to gain the extended duration of the makeup and nail polish as well as the fingerless gloves. I have been using an old version of YPS which allowed neither, so I thought: "Why not?"

 

I could never get the fingerless gloves to work properly and even tried the WACF keyword version but ultimately failed with that also.

 

However the actual cause of me returning to the older version was the script lag in SL animations I always use SLEN & SLSO in most sexual encounters and the animations just froze. Twice I reloaded the prior save to be asked: "Did I wish to use the bed?" as soon as it opened. So that proves that script lag was the culprit. Needless to say upon returning to my old version of YPS all was back to normal. TBH I never tested raping someone (new slave etc.) to see how pure SL went as I do not rape that often (only jealous slaves as a rule)

 

Now, this PC had NPS with Starfield or Red dead Redemption II or several other late games so IMHO it has nothing to do with my PC's capability, but what did amaze me was that I had all thoughts and conversations at 0. So, as I read no one else has this problem, it seems that NOT allowing them may well be the problem as they just back up in the script line with never being used . TBH I know SFA about scripts and how they are processed but am posting this just in case someone else has the same problem.

 

emily1673 has always been helpful in the past and I am sad to abandon this mod again as the work placed into it is incredible but I would still love to know if there is a way or a patch, I can use to extend polish & makeup duration other than that allowed by slavetats(132 hrs) or turn my LUX leather corset sultry gloves (black) into fingerless ones.

 

For the record I also installed Bimbos etc with my sole aim being to observe what it does to NPCs and NOT my PC but there are too many hidden "pink" traps for the PC even though I MCM walled her off all of them (Or so I thought). This char has a definite dominant female personality and Bimbo/girly just does not fit her. Serves me right for trying it.Curiosity kills 😁

In my latest playthrough, I decided to try the "Ray as love interest" path as I had not previously played it. Everything was going smoothly until I got to the stage where the PC gets a set of unwanted breasts. As I was playing, it struck me that when the doctor removed the Bra of Female Appearance the PC retained his female appearance. Must have, as otherwise the doctor would have instantly seen the PC as a male and so would seen no reason to do the operation. First reaction was "HUH? That can't be right, can it?"  Thought about it some more, still seemed wrong. Did I miss some clue where it was revealed that while it is necessary to don both pieces to get the female appearance, only one is necessary to maintain the illusion?

 

If I'm right and there is no clue, it occurred to me that there are two ways to fix this. One - Lena' paper on the Bra and Belt of Female Appearance includes a line saying that once the two pieces are donned and the illusion is created, the illusion will be maintained even if one of the pieces is subsequently removed. Two - the doctor explains that the hormones created in the PC from the infusion he got from Ingun have acted to begin reshaping his body to a more female form. This second explanation wold also explain why, when the Belt is removed prior to the reassignment surgery, his body has taken on a female appearance.

He literally explains this after the operation. He doesn't explain it before, after the inspection, because he doesn't realise you're a man. He just thinks you're a very underdeveloped woman.

But, if removing one of the two pieces would cause the illusion to fail, why wouldn't the doctor have recognized that his patient was not a woman as soon as he had unlocked the Bra and removed it? We are left with either the Girdle of Female Appearance, in conjunction with drinking the infusion, causes the wearer to begin to physically conform to the illusion or, having established the illusion by donning both pieces, removal of just one piece does not break the illusion.

The chastity belt is the magical device providing female appearance. The bra, as described by Lena, provides the appearance of breasts by fakery (it's made of two big cups that look like breasts under clothing). It's not magic. As Balgin said, the doctor explains what's going on. From the hormone treatments (quaffed potion) breasts were starting to develop under the bra, but development lagged on one side, which the doctor used to justify the implant surgery.

So I tested something and found out that you don't actually need to assign equip slots and armor addon to the stockings and tights for them to work. This frees up slot 54 and any incompatibility like Fill Her Up when the mod tries to equip something else to the slot for FX.

Perhaps, but then why does Lena give him the Bra and Belt of Female Appearance? It would seem that if it were the belt only, then the belt would create the entire illusion including breasts, negating the need for the bra. I mean, if the belt is creating the illusion that your face is that of a woman, that your shoulders and hips are that of a woman, that your torso is that of a woman then it would seem to me to follow that it could also create the appearance of breasts. Also, consider that if the bra was simply to give him the appearance of breasts, why is it a bra "made of an unknown metal" and why is it necessary for it to be locked on his chest? A simple cotton bra, stuffed with padding, would suffice if all that was wanted was to give the illusion of breasts.

 

Go back and read Lena's paper, "Corset of Female Appearance". It indicates that both items need to be worn to achieve the illusion. In it, she notes that underneath the illusion, the wearer experiences no changes to his body. The business with the cups is from Lena's explanation to the PC when he asks if this means that he will develop breasts. She tells him that wearing the bra will not result in him developing breasts as he feared.

That makes sense to me, but I didn't create the mod. :-)

As the great Ed Wood said "It's suspension of disbelief. No one's going to notice that."

To me, it makes sense that if a young mage at the College of Winterhold can consecutively transform the player into a series of animals that transforming a player magically from one sex to the other shouldn't be that big a deal, either. Instead we've got the Temple of Kynareth gender clinic, in effect.

If the inconsistency you point out is enough to bother Emily then we can may see it addressed at some point, perhaps even in the anticipated November update.

More than likely Emily will do what suits Emily, and we can appreciate what we like and put up with what we don't. While offering suggestions we hope will increase number of things we like.

The beauty of it is that when an inconsistency like this, if pointed out to Emily, it can result in her making the change. After all, one of the most enjoyable parts of a mod like this is the ability for the player to immerse him/herself in the game. Some while back Emily posted a message that she would appreciate input like this so that she could make the game more enjoyable. Some of us have taken her up on this generous offer.

That occurred with the last update or two. Originally the debuff was stacking with things like walking (default, Caps Lock) and a few other things it should not have been interacting with. Now it does not double penalise at times when it should not but the downside is that we get this odd little speed boost while the game adjusts for a second or two when changing footwear. It's a side affect of the new way it's being applied as opposed to the old way that it was done.
