If the PC oddly loves using a plug but doesn't like wearing a belt the player would have to choose which to satisfy, wear the belt and deal with it or don't use the plug and suffer withdrawals for a time. More debilitating devices such as Gags, Slave Boots, Blindfolds, Armbinders and Yokes would work a little different. Instead of days it may only take hours to satisfy the needs of the aforementioned devices. If the PC becomes addicted to wearing an Armbinder then they'll be required to lock themselves in one for 3-6 hours every day, once again the time required could be configurable. Blindfolds could take a similar time while gags may be 8-12 hours every day instead. Slave Boots may require up to 24 hours (with 24 hour break) since they're the least debilitating out of these devices. If soft dependencies with Captured Dreams and Cursed Loot (for example) are possible then there could be optional buffs when wearing certain devices from those mods. If the PC became addicted to wearing a Chastity Belt then being locked in the Free Trial belt from Captured Dreams would provide a constant buff. The Free Trial belt is inescapable and the poor addicted PC would love the feeling of absolute helplessness from something they can't do anything about. This was long and messy and I probably forgot something or left holes but hopefully this gets the idea across.

Things I forgot when writing my post, using an emote. The "almost two years ago(!)" part I meant as a jest, a joke. I didn't mean anything hostile or entitled with it so I apologize if you saw it that way. In hindsight I probably shouldn't have wrote that part. I still look forward to DP, perhaps something like Devious Addiction could be a companion mod to DP in the future. Much of the scripting/framework would already be there.

So they turned every single male in Tamriel into a female. Only one male was spared being protected by his dragon blood. So now Mara and Dibella have charged me, the Dragonboner...with impregnating every single female in the world to restore a future of men and women. Not exactly lore friendly, but um yeah I don't care!

My comment was more to the point that if a player thinks that they'd rather have smaller mods now for just a few certain features, they'll just end up finding themselves with a load list so big that the "bloat" would still be there, along with the added headaches of load orders, and additional potential conflicts. While also, on the other end of the spectrum, if somebody were to make a huge mod with every imaginable feature all-in-one, you may spare the load order issues and conflicts, but at the cost of a mod that may simply be too large for the average system to even run. Wanting a change in any of that is pointless, and best to take things as they are, and appreciate what's given, or contribute whatever they feel may be better. And I mean contribute as in useful things like code, not just opinions and chatter. Whatever the case, asking anybody to recreate what is already available, would be a waste of that person's time. Funny that my point of coming to this thread was thinking about this sort of stuff... I think that there's no correct view on the subject because we're talking about two opposing features that are mutually exclusive in most cases. I like mods that have a single and well-defined purpose. There are some features that I'd consider pretty central, for adult mods for example I'd say combat sex/rape, dialogue sex and prostitution, pregnancy, etc. There are many approaches to these things, because modding is something that some people do because they want to, and nobody has the right to tell you what to do. Sometimes there's a mod that does something that you like but you think you could do it better, or you want to add/fix stuff to an old mod. But personally I wish that some of these mods had been built in a similar manner as for example SL Arousal: it's a simple mod that does almost nothing by itself, but precisely because of that most modders prefer to just use it as a framework. It was made with that purpose in mind. If there were mods that added "simple", almost skeletal but foolproof features for stuff like combat sex, prostitution, etc, that would be very cool, because it would be easier just to use it as a requirement and add your extras if you ever wanted to make a mod about them. It would be a modular approach that would help with bloating scripts. On the other hand, it would bloat the modlist, as it was said. But considering that we have good mod-merging solutions already, I think this could also be solved with some foresight in place when coding stuff; it's not that hard to make a mod that doesn't fuck with Merge Plugins. Of course at this point in the age of this game's modding scene it might not be worth the effort. Sometimes I consider attempting my own approach to some of these features, but I feel put off by that.

It's not that hard to make mod that doesn't fuck with merge plugins but as soon as your mod gets complicated it takes literally anything to make a mod that merge plugins will fuck with. As soon as your mod goes beyond basic "Added a quest to do this one single thing" or "added a magic effect to start this" then the likelihood of merging messing up some kind of alias or script property skyrockets, even if you ignore the more advanced scripting tricks that will not function if things aren't set up the way the modder intended. I think it's curious that there's been this amount of discussion on this topic here tbh, but I'll weigh in. I think bigger mods are better. Especially with the trend towards including MCM and heavy customization in most mods. Edit: So I wrote this huge rambling thing that turned into a piece on frameworks and soft vs hard dependency and in the end the moral is this: I like more features in mods, with customization so that the user can pick between conflicting systems, I think modders should make an effort to avoid feature creep and including things that don't have any purpose in their mods, and most of all I think modders should strive for compatibility with the maximum number of other mods.

You know it's funny, even with all the depraved (and vanilla) mods I have in my load order, my only conflicts are bullshit ones like the water sound being different in a cell. It's like "you're a sex casino, why do you have to change anything about water?!". It also doesn't help that some modders mod on top of having the unofficial patches or not, and weather/sound mods or not. So many cells.

The Wear and Tear feature of Apropos has something like this (bruises mostly), but I'm picturing something simpler (and unrelated to Arousal). Just big sooty handprints to make a visually exciting contrast with soft, white female flesh.

I know there's already one existing (hence the "new") but the (magic) way it's working is not my favorite. Title : Something about Necrophilia (I'm really sorry but I'm not good at finding titles), "Necrophilia : How to crack open a cold one" (that's nasty...) ? Your call if you have a better idea Ideas : This mod wouldn't include spells, just a toggle key that would work only on dead NPCs. The animations used would be by default the ones tagged "NECRO" (which would be easy to add via SLATE mod) registered in the SEXLAB framework. But there would be the possibility to choose anoter tag (or multiple tags ?) The triggered animations would be with the dead NPCs only, no ghost or zombie replacement. There would be an option to make the dead NPCs silent during the animations. And maybe an option to make it law forbidden so guards will arrest you if you try something funny(Biz ) even with this dead vampire that's been rotting ont the streets for one week Define the position of the PC : active, passive or random The basis are decided via the Sexlab framework of course : state of undressing, sounds, voices of the PC/NPCs, etc. Possibilities : Should it work with creatures framework ? Option for gendered animations based on the TAGS ? (again, with the possibility of choosing altered by SLATE tags so you can use gay, lesbian, straight tags) To be able to actually see a list of the animations concerned by the mod ? (more like a check list, to be sure about the "NECRO" tagged animations) "Deadly sexy" option : PC is litterally excited by the vision of corpses (but maybe it should be linked with other mods like "aroused redux" or even "squirt" or "squirt reborn" ?) I first wrote "no need to PM me"... But now I'm not that sure. The thing is, I only have a basis idea for this mod, I'm not even sure there will be someone interested in using it (apart from me). But I'm craving for a simple approach for Necrophilia, that doesn't imply magic and spells. I think that's all and that's probably a lot already At least I hope it'll give ideas to someone ? (please ?) (and sorry for the mistakes, english is not my mother tongue) I like this idea. The Necro option in Defeat is great but really narrow. I would definitely use this mod if somebody made it.

Skyrimfloo Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 One feature that I believe I've seen only in a single mod would be a system that encouraged the use of lenghty sex scenes, or that factored their duration somehow to avoid rushing over them. While adult mods are all about roleplaying and sex itself is a good encouragement, I find really arousing the idea of sex as a "proper" game mechanic that has some practical use without exploiting some aspects of SexLab's options. I also find myself often skipping over unwanted sex encounters by forcing scene endings, and while I do that precisely because I can and I didn't feel like watching those particular scenes, it feels kinda "cheaty". Sometimes I try to force myself to avoid the scene control hotkeys, but in some places there are so many enemies that I either end skipping through them or just playing "normally" and forgetting about sex. Many mods use sex encounters to trigger effects, like pregnancy, status effects and etc. Many also count sex encounters to unlock milestones. Many of those mods get to a point where you can have sex with your "target" and just skip and retrigger scenes over and over. I know It's my choice when I do that, but still, I would love to have more reasons to prefer a lenghty sex scene over lots of "quickies". The mod I was referring earlier was Radiant Prostitution, which counts the duration of the sex scenes to judge how satisfied the client is. I like that, and the only detail that I miss there would be some sort of visual cue that made it easier to get the timers right (I usually get them so that SexLab's scene auto-advance does it by itself). Personally, I would love to see this concept expanded. It would be really awesome to have a mod that counted the duration of sex scenes and applied effects based on this duration, as well as many other factors like races involved, types of sex scenes, aggression... My focus here would be to encourage quality and duration of sex scenes over quantity. Effects would last long enough so that it's not necessary to fuck every ten seconds, but they would be powerful enough that players would notice their worth and seek regular sex to keep them if they wish so. One issue I've got with SexLab Aroused debuffs is that I don't really notice the effects because they just lower exp gain or do something so passive that it doesn't impact my actions in a noticeable way. I want noticeable stuff. I picture a variety of "types" of effects. The basic ones would be simply getting racial buffs that would get better and last longer the longer the sex scene was. They could even give debuffs if the scene was too short, in fact they could debuff you if the scene was too long as well, to give a defined goal to reach. I would also enjoy ways to facilitate killing enemies with sex but in a "non-magical" way, because not everyone plays a mage. Finally, I would love to see some sort of visual aid to help with the timers. Some indication of the some spent in the scenes would be really helpful, even if it wasn't UI-based. Some magic effect that covers the player briefly during the stages would be sufficient. Personally, I believe this wouldn't be a hard thing to implement, just time-consuming, since all it would do is to monitor sex scene parameters and apply effects based on them. It would require no new objects nor animations, and it could be done without spells and dialogue as well, although it could use some of that to add interesting effects. I think I myself could work on it if I had the time, but I'm busy these days and I don't know when will I be able to mod, so at least I'll leave this here in case someone likes the idea enough to implement it themselves.

Rumours of the activity could get around and affect the PC's reputation, Jarls could refuse to speak to him/her or cancel them as thane, others could approach them to invite or hire them for special parties, etc. There could be random outdoors/dungeon encounters with NPCs that could be a chance for voluntary sex rather than rape. I really enjoyed Angrim's Apprentice with the sex magic approach because you asked to be the apprentice and agreed to the sex, but it finishes pretty quickly with the sex curse. So you have a Dragonborn who wants sex and it gets worse with each dragon soul absorbed. There could be a quest for a cure, a quest to find a legendary sex club/brothel, the PC could voluntarily take a job in a brothel (like cum shot brothel but without all the CTD and glitches and the PC free to come and go), a quest to seduce a Jarl and become their lover, the daedra could start competing over the PC wanting him/her to become their follower/lover or demanding services and punishing the PC if they are not satisfied, there could be competitions with NPCs to win someone's affections (think Jon Battleborn and Olfina Greymane). Just looking for something not based on rape and slavery. Thanks

Thanks 1 Sexlab Solutions does have some of these type encounters in it already. 2 Mansion Mod (currently wip) will have that in it , when finished (Delzaron is working on that one now). 3 you may want to check out the mods by Delzaron (Things in the Dark, A Forsworn Story, and From The Deeps). while they are not exactly what you are looking for, there are ways to play each of them to get mostly what you want. TID - you can start as a slave and work your way into society OR can join society voluntary way and work way up from there. AFS - multiple branches and ways to progress thru them (some voluntary some not) FTD - investigation then a main choice point (voluntary with them OR against them) the mods I listed are more complex than the (super)simplified descriptions I listed here, so please read the OP (and possibly the support threads) on them. hope this helps some edit for number 3 you might try Amourous Adventures as well

Now, some things can overshoot, but then they're more into the bounds of surreal horror than Lovecraftian. IMHO Things in the dark undershoots, not necessarily by any fault of Delzarons (besides maybe buggy scripts, but I also haven't played FtD since a build from a year or so ago, so those might all be fixed by now) because Skyrim doesn't have an... accessible way to do something Lovecraftian, like unknowable eldritch horrors, or basically any other trademark of Lovecraftian work. Honestly though, the closest you're gonna get is Amorous Adventures. Other people don't even request something liek what you're looking for often enough for it to be a noticeable trend in the request forum (which I've also started following half-heartedly (all the requests for outfit conversions are breaking the hole where my heart would be) for ideas).

Update: Priority 1 right now is getting Suited For Skyrim (yeah that one, and yeah, I'm the man behind the curtains if you didn't already know) in to a releasable state. Probably could have been done in the next two days if not for two factors: I spent most of today drinking/drunk (and yesterday almost completely blacked out, which is impressive even for me), like, I'm drunk as I type this. and the new (and probably disappointing) Alien movie (Covenant) comes out tomorrow. So uh... in a few days that should be probably ready for some kind of release. Of course, there's the bugtesting the devTeam does before a public release so maybe a few more days than you're expecting because I am emphatically not perfect. Priority 2 is another quest mod I've been kind of attached to for... Way too long. I don't know what else to/I can release here so just kinda stay tuned. Then there's a list of smaller mods that shouldn't be more than a day or two each, so expect a week or two of dev on priority one and 2, and then a week or two in whcih I spit a half dozen mods or so at you. I've basically finished writing down each and every request made so far (wow) and just need to clean it up/organize some of them. OH and as always plans change based on real life, personal preference, and my binge-drinking.

Original mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25846/? My only problem with this mod is that the player receives ALL armor recipes at once, on level 1. This is not ideal for several reasons: - the player has access to very high level armor very early - the crafting menu id f-d up with the dozens of recipes So I'd like an addon for this mod, which: 1) (probably) Less work version Add 3 crafting books to the game for Light, Heavy and Cloth TERA armor. These should work like the books for the Book of UUNP or the Celes Nightingale armor mods - you can only craft the armors if the book is in your inventory. This way the craftng menu could be more accessible. 2) Too much work version Add a Book for each armor set. Rules are the same as above - you can craft it only if you have the book in your inventory. The books should be either on static locations in the world (multiple copies each, for example you can find the Bladedancer book in Bleak Falls Barrow, in Orotheim and in the Bard's College) or added to the loot tables. There is an addon already which puts the TERA armors into leveled lists. Thanks, M
