Wrapping this disgusting set of stereotypes up in the image of the "loser male" allows them to condemn not only the mods themselves as being somehow wrong, but the people on this forum as being harmful to society. Ultimately, I'd say with that steam thread we're just looking at yet more examples of harmful and restrictive conceptions of sexuality and masculinity in western society. Puritanical naysayers are alive and well.

So either he/she is terribly afraid of transgender people OR of human bodies spontaneously changing their physique after mousemoving a pixel person through a pixel landscape OR of males playing as females while at the same time finding it perfectly normal that female players have for the longest time been forced to play as male characters.
