I love when I post image and steam lore-fags are getting butthurt all over it.

 

*hurr*durr* sexualizing female characters *hurr*durr* virgin *hurr*durr* steam is not for porn *hurr*durr*

 

Most of them are just attention hoes and their arguments always fails: like a difference between porn and a pin-up , "think of children " when skyrim is rated 18+.

Usually they start their flame with a word like "shit" in it, it automatically shows lack of culture and a proper behaviour.

 

It never ends. You enjoy murder , gore , theft , corruption , animal abuse , brutality. I enjoy doing pin-ups. Simple.

 

Also if someone has a puppy as a avatar, ignore it and block him instantly. Those are a swj force of Steam.

 

Whlie I agree it may be annoying to see a 100th butt screenshot in the community hub , because it annoys me too. A lot of good art is buried deep within screenshots.

If you have lots of friends even a shitty screen is a guaranteed to be in the top of the week or even month for a long time.

I was on the side of the steam forums for awhile but I decided it was unfair to judge something I knew nothing about. I browsed to LL with an open mind and just looked around. First thing i looked at? The active part of the forums not the mods. What I found made me turn against the steam forums completely. The community here is so much better than the steam one could ever be. I don't post a lot and I don't raise commotions but I do pay attention to the subtle things people don't notice. So, in an open minded opinion LL is the new home for me. Doesn't matter what the fan boys say or do. Those people are uninformed and blowing hot air to make them feel better.

First thing i looked at? The active part of the forums not the mods. What I found made me turn against the steam forums completely. This place isn't perfect. I mean you'll run into bad moments with people here. You might even catch me at my not so finest moments. It happens. Look passed it and see what LL is really about and you'll see the wonders around here. Usually the social area is the worst to hang out in all the time. It brings out the worst in you. and I kid you not, it's contagious.

 

It's like that everywhere, though. I get a kick when someone makes a post and everyone tosses around sarcasm or their smart ass comments. It's all fun, though. That's the beauty of LL community.

As someone who say's they have an open mind you should know that the same kind of people exist across every website, every country and the world. The type of people you are complaining about exist here on this forum as well. LL isn't special, it's just an adult modding website. That doesn't make it much more mature or better than any other website. This is the Internet afterall. Deciding to become apart of a community is all subjective anyway.

Having said that, it's none of my business what people want to mod. Personally I come to LL because Nexus has a fairly quiet if not dead social community and tech support questions actually get answered here.

 

You can find the best of both worlds here depending on what you're looking for. Anatriax's Wonderful World of Skyrim guide is great. I just skip Chapter 8 because I don't need sex in my Skyrim. But that's just me.

In a past age there were teachers, who were sorely grieved to send their pupils off to Alexandria, for fear that the ways of that great city would corrupt their hearts and minds.  We did not come to Alexandria, that we may partake of the wine.  We came to partake of the great and secret knowledge, held by the institutions that dwell within the halls of pages.  Because we have heard that the volumes there are unmatched upon the face of the earth, and do tell men all things that are able to be known.

 

But seriously, I come here for the knowledge.  The modding knowledge recorded in this forum is, imo, unparalleled as a resource.  Say what you will about unorthodox modding.  We live and thrive in the undiscovered country where others fear to tread.  As a result, ingenuity is the norm, a higher level of cooperation is a necessity, and skills are honed to surgical precision on our shared talents.

 

If you come here to socialize, there are thousands of better sites to do that.  If you come here to mod, there is absolutely no superior!

The only place that even comes CLOSE to this place, as far as knowledge and working together to get things done, is S.T.E.P. MAYBE TESRenewal (but they live behind closed doors with their projects). 

 

Steam? Pft. That's not a community. That's a company that sells games. I've asked a few questions there, before coming to LL and the answer I ALWAYS received was "Idk, google it". Well I did. And it led me here! NOT Nexus. NOT S.T.E.P.

 

I come for what this site is as a whole. A community of modders, and people who enjoy modding; most of whom have a certain "kink" about them that makes them JUST off their rocker enough to be fun, friendly, and FAR more intelligent than 95% of the rest of the communities.

 

What would make LL perfect? Sheeson, so I CAN give him my first born.

I've just realized something very obvious : sex is the main factor which enhances modding. Think about it, this one website has most likely the most tech support, help, modders correspondences and projects sexual or not, in the whole modding side of the internetz. I've modded a shitload of games, but I've never seen as much help anywhere else, usually the modding scene is pretty unhelpful, most of the time websites are made to grab files and gtfo to try them. LL managed to create a community that actually helps each other, and also countless others who can lurk in the tech support sections and find answers for their problems. And all of it, thanks to sex. 

Just imagine if astrophysicists were as nerdy as us, and if they created sex spaceships schematics with dildos in every corner. We'd all be jacking off around Saturn already.

Actually Neko-Sentai (FF11 & FF14 online mods) was a pretty good adult mod community in it's days. Surprised to still see old members still around active there for FF11 mods. I was there since 2006 a year after I already modded FF11 and I knew the Admin of the web site. He used to be from the same server but eventually quit, opened up the mod community and started modding for the community. But it's nothing in comparison to LL. The community is pretty dead now because FF11 is just too old and I know FF14 took a nose dive with their failed beta and long process of revamping the game. I think modding is very strict since there is barely any mods for it on that site. But it was a really large community at it's prime days.

 

Rarely an drama there. But we also were registered to other mod sites for the game. Some of which got DDos and lost some really nice mods in the process. I suppose adult mod communities are just much better when it comes to engaging and supporting.

Don't forget that LL also has very lax rules regarding everything. Depending on which thread you visit, it ranges from a hugbox to /v/-tier shitposting and anything inbetween. We have something for everyone. Other modding communities have become too large or enforce strict rules on what content is allowed and which isn't. Like everyone makes a big deal about porn in games yet everyone wants it. Well, not everyone, but you get what I mean.
