I just tested POP 5.45.0 SE for debug arrest, guard arrest, and bounty hunter arrest, and all 3 worked okay for me.

 

If there is a problem, I do not think it is a problem with the SE conversion.

 

Make sure that you have the correct version of Fuz Ro Doh for your game.

 

The problem might also be due to a mod conflict that interferes with the guard arrest dialogue.

Doing this additional testing made me realize that I had made a mistake when I provided the POP 5.45.0 SE conversion to @Inte.


I put the NPC facegen head meshes into the wrong folder, so the Jailer and Jaileress NPCs have vanilla hairstyles instead of KS Hairdos.

Make sure you install the latest version of SUM as well.

In POP's MCM 'Arrest' page uncheck 'The Reach Guards Arrest Through POP'.

I dont think the log will work now as I somehow changed nothing but fixed it lol. I tried several times in Riften to get arrested by pickpocket and every time the guards would clear my bounty then I got a message saying arrest wasnt possible as I had no bounty. I was curious to see where things were sticking so I used debug to set a major crime, worked perfect and I served out the time. After release I rode the cart to Whiterun where I once again went on a pickpocket spree, got caught and was promptly arrested and jailed. I changed nothing and now it works. When I have time again I am heading back to Riften to try there again to see what happens, if it sticks again I will post a log otherwise everything seems great now.

Thanks for keeping this going all these years.

I'm running into a "POP registration failed" and "POP load game failed" on the newest LE version, with newest DDe and SUM.

I don't know how to collect logs. The skyrim console doesn't say anything useful.

I did notice that the failure happened on a new game, as well as when I load up a completely vanilla save.

The failure is not present when upgrading POP from an ancient (4.30) version.

Did you forget to include something in the newest version? Seems like the failure only happens on saves without any old version of POP.

I noticed that in the cage when the player/follower is raped by a male prisoner they play only the "Zaplick01" animation which is a lesbian animation. None other although Zaz is registered. Player and follower are ring gagged and hands tied behind the back.

Shouldn't it use a blowjob animation?

Many interactions in the dialogue are skipped because there are no animations for them. Maybe unbind them befor sending them into the cage?

Make sure you set the 'Use Animation by Tags' highher than the ZAP. Also, make sure you have enough animations, register new animations in SLAL and reset your SL animation registry.

I would like to try your newest version.  with Lola i found out that the tesVtranslator can damage a game, so i will see if this is true for Pop,, with whom  i always had trouble, maybe because of the translator. that would be a reason why others dont share my problems.

but there is Fnis first.  7.6 xxl is already full with billy, anub etc i cant addd pop and requirements without expanding fnis. you know how ?

i man, that must be standard, because most actual mods have DD 5 and ZAZ 8 and these 2 alone would not fit into fnis 7.6 xxl.

Completely not true. I'm using FNIS 7.5 with DDf 5.2 and ZAP 8.0+ and a bunch more animations.

i solved the fnis problem with the mod that the fnis tool recommends .so far all things work , BUT

your mcm is a doctors work at university.  i did not even get the actor selected. sorry, not for me.

(and i studied architecture at university Berlin )

Did you forget to include something in the newest version? Seems like the failure only happens on saves without any old version of POP.

 

For me it failed the first time when i forgot to update SUM then it worked until i started a new game

 

and now it doesnt work anymore for some weird reason. I didnt have an old pop version on my earlier save.

I have had almost all versions working on SSE - last version pre AE - for as long as I've used SSE. 

 

You don't say much about your setup but you might want to check ...
