After hours and hours of looking through this thread with no luck... For anyone having the unsuccesful "Arrest quest didn't start, exiting" issue with all kinds of arrests; i fixed it by removing one of these:

-Spectator crowds

-Populated cities towns villages 4.1 (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2005/?tab=description)

 

I am not sure which one of these it is (and i dare not touch it now ?) but i have definitely narrowed it down to one of these two. After enabling them again, i got the same old issues. Could also just be a scripts overload and it's not really these mods in particular. Maybe @Herowynne knows more.

I don't use either of those mods, so I cannot say whether they might conflict with POP.

Could always try whether the issues persist if you run them one at a time.

Apologies if this question has been asked before, and I expect it has. If my character is bound with ZAZ items the only SL animations that is available is one of the defaults, ZAP Skullfuck, how can I enable the rest? I'm sure there's a filter ZAP animations setting but I can't remember if it's in SL settings, ZAZ or POP, or SUM, can anyone point me in the right direction?

EDIT: Managed to work it out, I simply went into ZAZ Animation Packs MCM and disabled "Animation: Override if needed" in the Sexlab tab, never occurred to me before since the MCM seemed to freeze whenever I tried to open that tab so I never actually saw what was in it. Turns out I just had to wait about 30 seconds or so for it to load

After testing further, i think i spoke too soon. It still seems a bit random whether it works or not (Or i can't find a pattern anyway). My uneducated guess is it's just plain and simple script load at any given time...

Please see my post above about Fuz Ro Doh versions. Wrong Fuz Ro Doh is the most likely cause of your symptoms.

This solution -might- have fixed my game. Ran ir twice, and twice it worked as intended(short of a guard teleporting on me in one, but hey, one issue at a time :P). So thank you :)

I found a definite answer to what was causing my issue now.
It was the mod Devious Adventures SE 0.38 which has its own sort of arrest mechanic. After uninstalling that i haven't had the issue once. Can't believe i missed that ?

Hey! I've installed the mod and did some fucking around Falkreath to see how it works. The scripts seem to all work, except they're sometimes very slow - Jailers often stand and do nothing for some time between scenes or before entering a door, for example. This may very well be because of my rather heavy mod setup (a lot of background stuff like SL Survival, Milk Mod Economy, Devious Followers, Naked Defeat etc.). The delays can get big tho, to the point where I have to resort to waiting ingame hours to advance a script.

 

When getting arrested, bikini armor doesn't get stripped, although it is "fixed" by the jailer taking all my stuff and putting it in the evidence chest, so in the end I end up properly naked.

 

Sometimes periodic punishments get skipped - I get the gag equipping scene, "punishment started" notification, "punishment ended after 3 seconds" or "jailer had fun for 3 seconds" notification, and then gag gets unequipped, I get given food and he walks out. No actual sex animation plays. So far the only exception seems to be when the Jailer makes the PC fuck the follower.


With follower support, my and my follower's pillories appeared within each other. I also had to wait for about 6 ingame hours to be released, not sure how intentional is that.

It might have 'no strip' keywords.

Not sure what you mean.

The release only happens in the morning after 8:00 even if your sentence is up the evening before.

I was having the bug where the guard says you're under arrest, but then nothing happens and you can't move. I disabled Populated Cities, after which the guards just continuously force-greeted me. I was able to fix it by disabling the fix for Skyrim Utility Mod that hides the warning about having the wrong version of Sexlab.

Hello, been having this issue for a few months now, trying to troubleshoot it myself. Have downloaded new fresh versions of pop and the requirements, done a new save, cleaned my save, done a completely fresh skyrim install and this problem keeps persisting. Essentially, im trying to use the custom outfits from dde in pop, and have made my own outfits for it. it used to work flawlessly but recently its as if right when i get arrested, dde cant find the system.json. only restarting the game restores it so the outfits appear again. So because it cant find the system.json, theres no outfits and it just uses the default pop restraints.
