KW and Passion together in one game is not recommended.

You ask for trouble and a even more unstable game play. At least you know where it comes from once your game has malfunctions or crashes.

But curious and venturesome people can give it a try. (did that too - long time ago) 

If you do so, better switch off anything what deals with autonomy in Passion, maybe the frustration will not be that worse then.

Sooner or later you will return to use one mod only. I mean each mod in a different game setup.

If you do so, be aware that you can not easily use a KW save with Passion. The other way around it can work -maybe.

As long as combined mods don't crash the game, I agree one can dump as much shit into the mod folder as they like.

 

My observation would be about scripted events and the way the Sims 3 handles them. The game already has a lot to 'think' about. Adding another bunch of pages the game must 'look at' before deciding what to do will slow things down. So it really depends on: Compatibility, System power and resources, and Number of mod scripts trying to run concurrently. I have a ton of tuning mods as well as KW, so for me adding another mod which asks more of my resources while performing most of the same tasks with only a few things being different and only seen occasionally, while slowing the entire process is not wanted.

 

It's a matter of performance vs feature balance ultimately.

 

This is meant mostly for anyone reading - Players referenced in this post already have a good handle on the game.

BTW - LadySmoks - I was just thinking about your Bender character. Really well done, and it seems you are getting the most from your ITF ep purchase.

I use KW, but have looked at Passion... but not too deeply. My understanding of it is that it's based on Animated Woohoo, and although scripted, not a core mod like KW. I don't think you can have all of the Passion packages with KW. And in general, one set of animations should work with both, but with some experimenting, can probably have a somewhat stable set up with both. BUT... that might take time to find the happy place!

I put Bender on semi-hold for now. Quick made legs, but they didn't look right. Trying to get his level of shine right... not too shiny, but he still has to have a shiny metal ass!!! ))) Need to see if I can get the body bones better too. Looked really weird woohooing. 

 

Leela is a totally different issue that I don't know how to make a one eyed human (mutant). You can do anything with the body, but TS3 generates the standard head when you create a sim. In that respect, cartoon character Plumbots are much easier. Only thing I can think of might be accessory glasses cyclops eyeball???

 

Also, still doing touch ups on Power Girl. Didn't like the way her boobs looked with some sliders, and I knew the cape would be a PITA, but it's better each time I adjust it. As I'm just learning to make bone painting actually work, it's a slow process. Small adjustments, make a package, test in game. Not using the small test game I made on the work laptop, as it's still faster to put stuff on a thumb drive, transfer it to the new gaming laptop and restart my full game with all my CC in 3 to 5 mins, as opposed to 15 to 20 mins for the work laptop to load.

 

Still don't have my other laptop back, with all my work files! Maybe Monday? Bright side is that I remade the FemmeBot bottom using bone painting on the hips, butt pads and vagina to reduce some odd stretching during woohoo animations. ))) First try was an improvement... 2nd was better... 3rd even better... I'll probably get a 4th try done tomorrow or Monday.

I believe that. But depends a little on what is called a problem.

I had a time ago also running both mod in one game and once switched off the autonomous setting in Passion

the game runs fairly OK. (nevertheless I saw game crashes too and trouble with loading saves)

BUT, functions in the mods are not set up in the same way. I.e. after I let sims woohoo with Passion, they get terribly horny in KW.

At the first times it could be funny, but soon it disturb the game play. There where other such effects for sure, but do not remember anymore.

So, to experiment a little it could be OK. But if you intend to really play the game and develop a world for a longer game play I would not recommend

to use both mods in one game.  Frustration will come along - for sure !

How do I fix this? My male sim has this white stuff on him but I also have seen black dick too. Also I don't know where to find panties/bra for my female sim. I am using the most recent version of this mod.

There are 'build numbers' to reference for precision in information sharing.

 

What skin texture are you using? Do you think this is KW related and not a Sims 3 technical problem? I've had issues finding skins textures which apply a penile texture to females using the KW 'futa' feature but not the average male. The fact there is no color makes me think what ever penis mod you used is the issue since it doesn't even take a general skin tone - regardless of detail.....

 

'If' using KW - There are default Bras and Panties found in the accessories location, using the left and right garter locations so scripts can affect them independently of other clothing and accessories used.

Shoe texture on the map. Try Cmar's V2 (something like that) morphing penis... and use recommended skins, if you don't know about the various skin choices available, and read what the mod creator took time to write, as this is covered on her page.

It looks like shoe texture, not "no color", because he scrolled to the first download, went "click", put it in, never read about V1 and V2, and now has a problem. FYI, no color would be skin color, maybe without penis texture.

hello i can't hire a prostitute and the others can, Oniki you could put a .package with for example the juice from the juice barrel, when you have the challenge of getting drunk with juice, with this mod you will not be able to complete this challenge because you will get drunk on alcohol instead of juice

If one uses one of the accessory mods for a penis, it is gray - I still have 2 due to them being part of that 'monster' merge package I made years ago which I can't fix without screwing a majority of saves I still play. Regardless, I don't doubt the validity of your conclusion, I only worded it that way because we don't 'know' exactly what penis mod was used.

Also you are referencing a default EA feature which is now 'bugged' by using this mod - so I refer you once again to the OP: "This is an early WIP version so do not expect too much except bugs and frustrating gameplay"

Ah! Accessories are very different, as they do have their own multiplier. Not sure about Cmar's accessory though. Her male part is made to pick up the color on the skin texture. The old map had the part UV in the area for shoes, and so it would show the shoe texture when KW left the shoes on during woohoo, or if you just had your sim running around naked and wearing shoes for some odd reason? So, she moved it to the area of the map where bottom parts go. Some older skins have penis texture for version 1, and others v2, and some for both.

Now that you also have Supernatural, You may eventually decide to use the custom Werewolf skins floating around which benefit from Increased slider values to make the nose and chin become a 'proper' canine/feline snout. The reason I mention this is these skins also have a custom penis texture - but geez, the red is so bright as to remind of a neon light. Ah, well - use or don't use - as is the case with most CC unless one gets into using the tools to change things.

Am I the only one having trouble with the "offer a cigarette" option with rolled joints?  ErrorTrap is detecting an error and my Sim resets.

 

System.NullReferenceException: A null value was found where an object instance was required.

Error Trap is part of Overwatch, which has a few recommended settings. Did you add the 'disable dereferencing' tuning package out of curiosity? https://www.nraas.net/community/ErrorTrap Look down into the tuning options. I use it and myself have no issues.

The problem isn't ErrorTrap.  ErrorTrap is  detecting the problem, not creating it.  If I don't use ErrorTrap, I don't get the reset, but the "Offer a cigarette" interaction still doesn't work (the little cigarette icon appears in the upper left and then disappears). 

 

And yes, when ErrorTrap detects the error my Sim disappears and reappears in front of my home lot.

 

Has anyone else tried this and does it work?  There seem to be two possibilities:

 

1.  The interaction just doesn't work (or possibly requires an EP that I don't have).  It wouldn't be the first time a KW interaction didn't work right.

2.  Something else I have is conflicting.

 

I just wanted to rule out #1 before beginning the tedious trial-and-error task of investigating #2.

hi! I have been experiencing a problem that my sims cant do regular woohoo/try for baby in showers or shower-bathtubs, the sims start making out and they walk to the shower then they get reset and I get a script error everytime. I tried the same with a new save that didn't have kinky world in it and it worked fine.. has anyone had this same problem before? I do have some Nraas mods like overwatch/mc/mc woohooer/error trap and others, I read here that woohooer doesn't work well with okw so I removed it and tried the shower woohoo again ans it still didn't work..

hey, sorry for asking two questions in a row, I hope I'm not bothering you guys too much haha..

 

I was just reading some things about kinky world and passion mods (I've been thinking about removing kw all together and switching back to passion because my pc is not that great) and I saw something about how loading up a save (that had kw in it) ONCE without kw would ruin it, is that true? because I was cleaning up my mods folder and removed kw for a few tests and loaded a save and it sure was completely busted BUT I didn't save, I just exited and dropped the mod back in, deleted the cache files and tried the save again, it worked just as well as before but I only played for a few minutes , does that mean the save isn't corrupt and I can safely play it again? or was loading it an irreversible mistake..

 

just one last thing, is there a safe way to remove kw from a save game without corruption? does disabling it from the mod options work or will there still be problems?

I haven't tried this (default EA woohoo) in years. I have pregnancy disabled in my game, but I could try the default woohoo again just to add a 'does/doesn't work' reference from a user with a heavily modded game.

Yes, this is the proper way to continue using a save which has KW scripts running in it - by un-registering it. I generally would also pause the game, and reset the world with NRaas first. This would have the effect of stopping all scripts, and not letting any new ones queue up before 'un-registering' it.

As long as a save isn't written to, then it remains as was. Returning the game to the state it was in when the save was made is optimum, but if the mods removed were only object mods with no scripts attached, then the game will just default-replace them with another random selection. It IS the scripts which can cause the problems you are keen to be aware of.

In my experience, KW and Nraas Woohooer don't play nice together.  I'd try deleting Woohooer and see if that solves your problem.  Woohooer does the same thing so why use it?

Offer success: with both selecting from the stack and individually from expanded stack - does use the 'give gift' animation as evidenced. Cropped both the single and stack offering into shot along with confirmation of the first being received: Click on recipient/NRaas/basic/inventory/sell item.

Wish I had good news for either of you: Default EA shower woohoo won't work for me (returns a NRaas woohooer error notification) - Offer a smoke using KW rolled joints, both from stack and individually is successfully accomplished using the gift giving animation from Generations EP.
