Well I wasn't referring to you, I was referring to the other guy who seemed to think I was cramming my playstyle down his throat and trying to justify it when in truth it was the other way around.

You ARE trying to cram your playstyle down throats, by making stuff about the lore.

 

And thank you for intentionnaly missing the part where i said i don't care what options are in as long as you're not making things up to justify them. That's imposing things for you ? You may have to check some definitions, like "truth".

 

And I can see you're totally not treating people like morons again. "That guy" has a name like everyone else.

 

 

 

Going to have to agree here, none of these make sense. Sorry Book. Only solution I could see with Astrid is to have sex with her and she tells you "Yeah It's the Khajiit who's evil, the other two are innocent" or "The merchant sold slaves, the mercenary massacred a village and the housewife poisoned her husband and children. They're all guilty."

 

But really while a nice appeasment for that specific act, your very next mission will have you killing a lot of people that can't be as easily said are guilty. So might as well get the bad part over with and say they're all innocent, she just wants you to kill someone. Then have sex with her as a solution to letting you out of the hut without killing anyone, quest fails and Destroy the Dark Brotherhood doesn't come up, and you don't get access to the Black Door. Kind of an all over loss though considering you loose a shout and one of those goddamn Stones of Barenziah.

 

... Yeah, the Brotherhood entry test is seeing if you can murder someone you've been told to, innocent or not, having a way to sex married Astrid to know which one is guilty "really fits with the Dark Brotherhood questline".

Nice, thanks. I use one that makes them sellable, and one that marks them all on your map once the quest begins. Still haven't bothered finding them all once.

Thanks again for maintaining this mod.

I do have a question.

Has anything with the mod changed for compatibility with mods that had dependencies with the old file name?

Sexlab Leveling for example.

Using the Solutions new esp, integration stops with SL Leveling.

If i was to go into TESVEdit and changed the SSv2.esp to new name would that bring integrations back or would more work be needed?

 

You should post in Sexlab Leveling about this, I know Shakrum had added something to make leveling compatible with Solutions before so he might have an easy fix for this.

Solution request:

 

Conditions:

 

- Player is female

- Player is currently being chased by hired thugs (i.e. the quest WIAddItem03 is running at a stage lower than 200)

- Player is caught by the thugs while having sex outdoors

 
Problem:
 
- The situation has a tendency to cause a CTD
- The situation requires a solution that doesn't involve fighting
 
Solution:
 
- Let the thugs take their turn as well, in an aggressive way (rape the player), instead of getting hostile and attacking the player.

I'm not opposed to the idea of providing an alternative way of dealing with the hired thugs, but a more immediate solution for your problem specifically would be to simply press End (hotkey for ending current animation) when you see the hired thugs come your way.

So I finally had a bit of time to check what SexLab Leveling is about, and from what I can see, you shouldn't be having any problems at all. SexLab Leveling doesn't actually have any master dependency to Solutions, it tracks certain events by overwriting Solutions scripts (something I'd normally advise against, but I guess I'm not likely to edit those scripts), so the upgrade into 4.0.0 and the resulting name change didn't break that mod's functionality in any way.

 

If I had to guess, you overwrote Shakrum's modified scripts with the ones in 4.0.0. You'll need to copy his over again to restore Leveling functions.

Most likely there is a script in SexLab Leveling that's searching for the presence of SSv2.esp. I'd tell you which script you need to edit and recompile, but it looks like the author of Leveling didn't include the script source code, and I can't be bothered to decompile the PEX files, so just ask him to deal with it I guess.

During first conversation the radiant  associate the quest with the name of  Ulfberth War-Bear.

I try to disable the dilaogues mod, but the problem still here..

Nope does not work.

The author of Sexlab Leveling did include scripts and he does not check for SSV2.esp. Instead he has an additional set of scripts (didn't you check this out just recently and note that you're unlikely to change those scripts again?) that adds Mod Event calls to a few of your solutions.

 

So if it's not working with Leveling it's probably because the user failed to install the updates to your scripts that are packaged in a separate file from the main leveling mod.

 

Edit: I looked back, we are just covering the same ground over and over.  Budroi probably needs to install the "Solutions.7z" file from the leveling mod or he didn't move those patches after your version and only moved the Leveling mod.

"Dragon Attack Survivors" it does not work. It appears no new dialog. Everything else works. Does anyone have the same problem.

Keep in mind the new dialogue options only appear at the same time as the vanilla donate one, and you need to have enough gold on you (25 or 50, depending on act) for the offer to be available.

I've tested it again. But no dialogue. The other new content " Salma " works.

 

Oops, I found out the problem. I'm checking the NPC's pockets instead of the player's to see if there's enough gold, which, naturally, they don't have. :sleepy:

No, Radiant Prostitution is most certainly not changing any vanilla dialogue, you can confirm this yourself with TES5Edit. I have both mods installed in my game, and I cannot reproduce the issue you're having.

You guys missed my follow-up when I double-checked my claim.

 

Sorry, my mistake.  It was Sexlab Stories, rather than Dialogues causing that problem.  But yeah, still has nothing to do with this mod.

No, Radiant Prostitution is most certainly not changing any vanilla dialogue, you can confirm this yourself with TES5Edit. I have both mods installed in my game, and I cannot reproduce the issue you're having.

I could reactivate RP and start a new game, to see if it still does ..

I do it as soon as possible.
 
for now I uninstalled Radiant Prostitution and SLSolution..
I give a try later.

I've been running into localized gamefreezes around Whiterun and tried everything...from updating graphics drivers to disabling mods with large textures because I read somewhere that freezes usually mean too little VRAM.

 

Since all that didn't help (AT ALL), I started disabling script-heavy Sexlab addons - to no avail.

 

Then it hit me (hard): The place where I always experiences the freezes was in front of Pelagia farm, where three companions fight the giant. When I got in viewing distance (but not freeze distance, yet), I saw Aela just standing around aimlessly, no giant visible.

 

After disabling the current version of Solutions (4.0), everything suddenly worked.

Tis a pity, really - Solutions is and has been one of my favorite mods since version 1.0.

 

[On a side note: If the above bug gets fixed - is it bad if I rename the ESP back to its original name (SSv2.esp)? Khajiitspeak references this file name, and I'm too much of a noob to change it.)

 

It's not from this mod, I don't have that issue.
