SexLab Solutions 5.0.7 (01-December-2017)

I just updated and I got an error message I don't understand: "Programmer error: please initialize at least one of the following: zadKeyword!/zbfKeyword!". I played for a while, then loaded a couple old saves to see if it happened again. It just told me it was updating Solutions to v4, no error message. I tried starting a new game and it gave the error message again. This looks like a Devious Devices thing, or zaz overhaul? Other than the error message, I haven't noticed anything odd in the hour or so I played. Just to see if it would happen again, I shut the game down completely and restarted it, and I got the error again. I'm not a programmer and I don't know what mod zadKeyword belongs to, so I have no idea how to initialize it.

That error is not related to SexLab Solutions. Have you installed any other mods recently?

I don't know if it's just me or something, but I think there is a problem with 4.0.0 update, Prison overhaul patch still requires SSv2.esp as master, and since SSv2.esp has been renamed, the game would crash at the start.

Use the PO patch included with Solutions 4.0.0, it was remade to match the name change.

Got it, it was the old patch esp, thx

This is the only one I've updated for the last couple days. I finally thought to google zadkeyword and it seems it has to do with devious devices restraints. It's odd it's just giving me error messages now, but at least I know where the problem is. I knew it wasn't your mod, I just wondered because I got it right after updating, if it was conflicting with something else after the newest changes. From the looks of the forum posts, it isn't, it's just coincidence I got the message when I did.

Btw, thanks very much for your hard work on this mod. It's made my game a lot more fun.

Hi Wraithslayer,

Thanks for all your work lately, on this and radiant prostitution. I hope you don't mind me asking, is it possible after upgrading to 4.0 to reinstate the (orc stronghold plaything status) by using the console to set the right global variable?

Version 4.0.0 released.

- Note: This version includes changes that may or may not cause issues if updated for an on-going save. Refer to the Updating section in the main topic if you're having problems.

- ESP renamed from SSv2.esp to a clearer name, SexLab_Solutions.esp.

- USKP dependency has been removed, as it will become deprecated in the future in favor of a unified unofficial patch. I'll handle USKP compatibility manually whenever overwrites occur. (For those of you that were using the WS Dummy USKP to bypass the dependency, you no longer need it.)

- The LAL patch is now obsolete and has been removed from the installer, as SexLab Solutions now includes changes identical to those made by LAL. (PO hasn't changed, and still requires the patch if you have that)

- New content: At the end of 'Coming of Age', Salma owes you for putting you through all that trouble.

- New content: Offer the dragon attack survivors a more sizeable donation in return for... services rendered.

- The 'Display text flair' option in MCM now refreshes its state properly when clicked, no longer requiring the MCM window to be re-opened to display the change.

Does that mean that v4 is not compatible with current USKP (2.1.3)?

Also I don't use LAL, but you mentioned that v4 include changes from that mod..

Not possible through the console, but you could pull it off by manually editing a script's variables:

Open your save with a script cleaner (make a backup copy of the save first!), and locate SSv2QScript in the ScriptInstances array. (if you find 2 copies of it, press the FixScriptInstances button to remove the duplicate one, as it's the old one from Solutions v3) There's a couple variables in there you can edit to manually activate the Orc plaything event:

OrcSlut: Set this to an integer between 1 and 4. This number will set how many times per day the Orc plaything will trigger.

OrcGender: Set this to an integer between 1 and 3, this will set which Orcs are allowed to trigger the plaything event. ( 1 = Males Only, 2 = Females Only, 3 = Both )

With those two variables changed, Orcs will act effectively the same as if you offered yourself to them via dialogue.

Does that mean that v4 is not compatible with current USKP (2.1.3)?

v4 is still compatible with USKP of course, it's just that since it's no longer a master, I may occasionally accidentally overwrite USKP edits, like was happening in the earlier versions of Solutions v3, before I added the USKP dependency. As I said in the patch notes, I'll manually fix these to maintain consistency with USKP.

You can still use Solutions without LAL, the change that I've added doesn't create a dependency to it, or cause any conflicts if LAL isn't present. Basically, the change that LAL and Solutions were fighting over, was that LAL wanted to edit the Whiterun gate guard dialogue (the one with "Stop! The gate's closed with the dragons about!") so that it doesn't trigger if the quest 'Before The Storm' hasn't begun yet, and Solutions wanted to edit it to add the blowjob scene.

Since the change LAL wanted to do makes perfect sense regardless of what mods you're using (after all, if you have a way of bypassing the vanilla start which triggers the dragon attacks, by using LAL or any another mod, it would make sense that the Whiterun guards don't start worrying about dragons until dragons actually start showing up), I added the change to Solutions as well. If you don't have LAL and are using the vanilla start instead, then that's no problem at all, because by the time you reach the Whiterun gate, 'Before The Storm' will already be active and the condition will allow the guard dialogue to trigger.

@WraithSlayer. I'd Like To Make A Suggestion, Feel Free To Let Me Know If It's Outside The Scope Of Solutions.

But What I'd Like To See Added By This Mod Is The Option For Werewolf Characters To Be Able To Have The Resting Bonuses After Sex, Since Sleeping Doesn't Count For Werewolves.

If This Could Be Done I'd Be Very Grateful.

I'm sorry, but that's not something that makes sense for this mod.

Wow. Thats a very detailed response - its very clear what I have to do. Thank you for providing such excellent support in addition to your mod-work.

You're a scholar and a gentleman (or lady).

Alright Cool, No Problem.

But Just Out Of Curiosity, If This Mod Made It So That You Could Catch Vampirism From Having Sex With Vampire NPC, How Would My Suggestion Be Any Different From That?

Again, It's Your Mod, So You Call The Shots, And I'll Respect Your Decision Either Way.

The premise of SexLab Solutions is to provide alternative solutions in vanilla quests, or add new dialogue that incorporates sex in some way. Your suggestion doesn't really fit into either, so it makes more sense to be on a mod of its own. Additionally, the suggestion doesn't make sense lore-wise, as werewolves are supposed to be always restless. The lack of sleep bonus should be offset by having the ability to turn into a deadly beast, anyway. ;)

Below Is Taken From The Front Page

World Encounters & Dialogue Events

Implemented

- Vampires - Contract vampirism from any non-hostile vampire in a more intimate manner

If The Part In Your Reply Above I Underlined Above Is True, Then Why Is This Solution In Here?

Again I'm Not Trying To Force You To Implement My Suggestion, I'm Just Trying To Understand Your Reasoning Behind Why You Think The Vampire Encounter Fits The Criteria But My Suggestion For Werewolves Doesn't.

Lol, "deadly beast". Only if you spent time training up light armour. My lady knight focused only on heavy armour and is a beast at melee combat, but the moment she has to do anything as a werewolf, the lack of light armour training meant that even bandits cut through her like wet paper.

The vampirism one falls under "add new dialogue that incorporates sex in some way".

Your suggestion with the werewolves wouldn't (or shouldn't) use dialogue, ideally it would be a script that detects any SexLab animations that involve the player, and apply the rested bonus as a result, as this would allow the bonus to be applied for animations that were started by other mods. Since this implementation isn't dialogue-based in any way, it's not something that should even be in Solutions.

Okay, Now I Get.

Another Suggestion Though Would Be During The Dark Brotherhood Quest "Mourning Never Comes" When Muiri Asks You To Kill Nilsine Shatter-Shield Instead Of Killing Her (Since It's Not Part Of The Actual Contract) How About The Option To Rape Nilsine Instead?

Posted

Via dialogue? Possibly. I've wanted sometimes to instead bring Muri some comfort that the whole thing stole from her, show her some love and then maybe she'll forgive the Shatter-Shields (not the bandit obviously) and find some closure without Nilsine needing to die.

I like this. Much more satisfying way to fulfill the contract. :)

Via Dialogue Yes, I'd Assume In A Similar Way To How The Dialogue With Healga Was Implemented, As For The Lovey Dovey Approach You Suggested, I Don't Think It Makes Sense For An Evil Assassin Of The Dark Brotherhood To Want Provide Therapy For One Of It's Clients...

For That Muiri Should Try The Temple Of Mara...

I like the idea of bringing peace to Muiri as well.  Thing is she didn't call the Dark Sacrament on Nilsine, so the Night Mother wouldn't really care about that part.  Just because you're someone willing to murder a deserving person in cold blood (you might not know WHY the person is deserving) doesn't mean you do not also have a soft spot.  Sexing up Narfi and sending him out feeling good is just lovey dovey, to me.

Being in the Brotherhood is all about a nihilistic assassin's creed having apathy as the prime aspiration, going around bringing catharsis to people is certainly not Brotherhood-friendly. Same for killing Nilsine for Muiri's own error, she is certainly not deserving it and you know it, evenmore if she's not the Black Sacrament's target.
