Is USKP a hard requirement or could I run this mod without it?

USKP dependency is there to avoid overwrites of USKP fixes, it's not strictly necessary. If you don't use USKP, you can either remove the USKP master from the Solutions ESP, or use the Dummy USKP file I've included in the download section.

Or, if all that sounds like gibberish, you can simply wait a few days. The next version of SexLab Solutions will remove the USKP dependency entirely, because the Unofficial Patches team has just flipped a table on me with their announcement of the unified unofficial patch. I'll be going back to the older method of manual re-integration of USKP fixes, instead of using masters to enforce consistency.

the new fixed version crashes my game moment it goes to the title screen. the 3.1.8 before didnt do that.  cant provide a log as there  a whole 3 lines before itt crashes. disable solutions and it loads fine.

the 3.1.8 before the fix was fine. just had the jarl dialog with everyone.

Crashing before you reach the main menu generally indicates a missing master. Show me the load order.

like i said the orginal 3.1.8 is fine. its just the 3.1.8 fixed that crashes it before the title screen. so unless u added something  to 3.1.8fixed it shouldnt be crashing

attached file as using the code thing was making a long post

checked wtih the 3.1.8 beofre fix. loads up fine np but for the extra dialogue.

triy with 3.1.8fixed ctd before even get to see intro.

had both with same load order.

Well, I'm stumped. You didn't do anything wrong with the patches, and you have all the masters that Solutions requires, so normally I'd be inclined to say that the issue isn't coming from this mod. Yet you're saying that if you remove 3.1.8Fixed and add 3.1.8 back, it all works again? Perplexing.

Could anyone else confirm or deny whether 3.1.8Fixed is working for them?

Started fine for me, but I was adding it as a new mod to an existing save.

Upgraded from 3.1.7 to 3.1.8Fixed on an existing save - no clean saving performed.

Game boots fine, save loads fine. Havent actually played to test.

i started 3.1.8 on new save. and upgraded to the fixed version. but since i cant even get to the start screen with the fixed version i dont know why.

ill just stay with the 3.1.8 for now since besides the dialogue thing so far no issues with it.

ill just use it till next verson comes out and see if it still ctd. might just be some random mod incompatibly that is hard to tell with for all i know.

Just played through the whole fellowglow dungeon with the fixed version worked just fine. It did not crash whatsoever. Most likely is a incompatibility or a missing master ala usual.

Just to try it extra  I'll stat a new game for ya. Let you know how it goes in a minute.

Edit: Okay for some reason in the first cartride Hadvar decided to bugger off (no crashes he just rode off for...some reason probably one of my many ai mods that didn't happen in the second) smooth sailing otherwise). And that happened before I installed solutions so...yeah solutions isn't adding to any crashing for me.

read the other posts. i have all teh masters and the non fixed verson works for me just the fixed. thats why we all stumped. but no matter long as a previous works. and with sexlab 1.6 comeing within a month or 2 if no major problems happen it be fine for me to wait till next solutions update and see if problem still there.

And if the file is working for me and not for you the problem is clearly on your end. As wraith said you might have a corrupted file. Instant crash on title is usually missing master or broken files.

fixed teh fixed version. looks like it was mod organizer. for some reason it was missing 1 script when would install it. even thou the rar was right it was missing 1 script file which caused the crash. now can get to main menu so should be fine when i play more later

Game booted and played fine for me as well. Just removed the old one and installed the new one, no clean save or anything and it worked fine.

Is USKP a hard requirement or could I run this mod without it?

I'm curious, is there a reason why you don't use the USKP? It fixes countless thousands of bugs that the official patches didn't cover and most mods are made with USKP compatibility in mind, so I can't think of a single reason to not use them. I consider the unofficial patches, Weapons and Armor Fixes Remade, and Clothing and Clutter Fixes to be essential for ever mod loadout.

I'm good with Unofficial Patches, Weapon and Armor Fixes, Complete Crafting Overhaul and Cuttign Room Floor, but Clothing and Clutter fixes are gone from my load order. It forces ugly hoods that cover up modded hairdos on a lot of my priests and mages, and frankly it adds so much crap that's unecessary that it's not really a fix mod. The fixes are rather minimal, and if you're using any sort of armor overhaul that also include clothings such as A Little Sexy Appeal Replacer then you've already replaced everything CCF fixes.

Interesting, I might have to look into that.  I was not aware of the forced hood.

Wraith, I love this mod and I was wondering how hard would it be to add this:

The farmer and his wife who lost everything in a dragon attack, that you can tell "sorry" or you can offer them 5 Septims to help out.  How hard would it be to add two more options?

I'll give you another 10 if you let me fuck your wife (Male PC) /if you fuck me (if the PC is Female)

I'll give you another 20 if you and your wife wanna do a 3 way

The beggars get offered an extra 10 gold - why not take advantage of the farmer and/or his wife in a similar way?

This sounds familiar, I think it may have been suggested before. I'll try and add it for next release if I can.

IIRC Jexsam has explained that he's had bad encounters with Unofficial Patches in previous games and thus doesn't really trust them.

I don't use the USKP also.

I haven't really run into any non solvable vanilla bug that some people have mention. Granted I am not that deep into the game questwise.

I find the patches make changes to equipment too liberally.

Fixes regarding matching sets, fist of steel are nice to make them follow the game's "rules", but some of the changes in the name of "balance" seems a little needless (some I just don't agree with), and it deviates from the information that is out there (wiki and such)

I can learn the game's base mechanics then look up what the bugs and exceptions are fairly reliably.

But it is more difficult to then remember another layer of changes that a custom mod make.

I use the Unofficial patches for the dozens of quest script issues they fix. Most of the armor/weapon changes they make are changed again in WAFR so I'm not worried much about those.
