Don't put them on yourself and you'll be fine.

Someone put on some boots they couldn't remove. Trapped in rubber is a long, linear, story type of mod. It has very few dependencies, doesn't mess around with other mods, however, many other mods can interrupt trapped in rubber. It will not corrupt your game or anything.

Don't put them on yourself and you'll be fine. and that's a reason to use a gigantic font and cover up a whole page lenght. goodness. there's worse things than broken boots. and even those can be solved without going crazy.

Riderofanarchy Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 And I'm too far into my game to go back..... I had ti uninstall, Boot up the game, put on regular boots, Save, and then Reinstall.... Which Corrupted my Save.... THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT AND VERY FATAL BUG THAT THE CREATOR SHOULD HAVE NOTICED BY NOW!!!!! The ballet boots were always experimental (my first attempts at working with DD). And so far, I have been unable to determine what I did wrong. There are no missing or false properties, no missing keywords, nothing that screams out at me "hey, this is wrong!". Everything looks fine in the CK. Since you are so very vocal in declaring what I should or should not have done, you can certainly do a better job than me and fix the problem in the ESP yourself. Send me a copy afterwards, I'd love to learn from your impeccable expertise. And, given your skill, I'm sure I don't have to point out to you that one should always save often and in different slots, especially - but not only - when playing mods that are categorized as "WIP". I also don't have to tell you that you may try 'player.inv' to get the ids of the rendered boots and then manually remove them via console. You must have already tried this without success. You're the expert, after all. Honestly I just Uninstalled the Mod. it's too late to try that now, if I reinstall the mod it will corrupt and destroy my save.

Where is this FREE ME command someone mentioned? Where is this FREE ME command someone mentioned? Nevermind, I just reduced the Lockpick difficulty to nothing and picked the Boots lock from the menu and it removed them. Finally this nightmare is over.

Try this: Open the console, click on the Mistress to get her prid. setstage tir_pr_controller 100 coc tir_tower moveto player Edit: If you want to return under your own power, just use setstage tir_pr_controller 100.

But that was enough to correctly trigger the normal teleporting back to the tower and everything was on track again.

Saw the update, had to go digging around a bit to find out what was changed. If you are going to do alot of little fix-it patches in the future, it would be a great help

I will do a group picture over the next days to show all colors of the suit.

Could I switch this with the older version & still be able to play it on a current save that I had not started the mod on? Or would I have to start a new game? Not a problem if I have to start a new, was just curious really.

Try it and you'll know. I didn't test for it, though it should probably work as I avoid game-start enabled quests as much as possible.

So none of the perfectly working stuff in your game I'm about to talk about will make sense, but hopefully you'll say "Adjust your INI (skse,nioverride, skyrim)": OK in the beginning of the mod, no horse races or boots yet. The dialogues can't be selected, or they jump to a certain point: "I have questions" "I'm ready for work" "There's a sale on waterbeds" cannot be selected, only aborted. A reload fixes this instantly! The cook "Are you the cook?" "Aren't you the hot thing" "My, aren't we trendy and chic (etc,yada whatever)" "I have an order" cannot work because she just instantly says, "You can squeak off now". A reload fixes this instantly! OK Once again, I'm only asking if you know of a relevant tweak that would make dialogues work more reliably. If not, nevermind. Thank you in advance.
dnoah Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 @billiedovakin The "Aren't you the hot thing" dialogue line is not added by this mod. I would suggest disabling the mod that causes this as well as any other mod that can mess with this mod's dialogue and doing a clean save, for starters.

It was an example to cover up my very poor memory. There really isn't a sale on waterbeds either.

Was there anything else in your bug report that's not true (rhetorical question)? Copy&replace "Data\SEQ\Trapped in Rubber.SEQ" from the mod's archive to a corresponding location. If the issue persists, disable non-essential mods, clean save and post your Papyrus log.
