Im getting stuck in the lesson. After she talks about enchanting nothing happens. if I am meant to get up im still stuck to the chair

got couple of issues

- after i sold the wine to chef guy mistress did not take that money - so basically that was easiest money ever earned.

 

- those 2 thalmor soldiers that accompany enarion are not hostile by default. so if you evade them they would stop to attack and would never resume attacking you even if you will be hitting enarion right in front of their eyes.

Imo either set them as allies of enarion and give them "help allies" or add some hostile faction to them.

 

- Devious Ballet boots doesn't come off. Even if mistress it stripping whole rubber set those boots remain.

even when you enter gauntlet those boots remain.

when you start ponyrace those boots remain.

restraint keys does not work on them.

Cant be removed by console - they reequip right away.

Basically only way to get rid of them that i found was to use TES5edit or CK.

 

and btw ballet boots seem to have too little magnitude of High heels spell.

 

- rubber socks have high heels spell attached while they obviously dont need any.

 

- Ponyrace 2 was a lil bit buggy for me. It seems that i was ruinning the course too fast.

Had devious boots instead of ponyboots (see above why) they are bit "faster" (AV speedmultiplier 80 instead of 75). And i'm playing an altmer (which is one of the tallest race by default)

Result was that my char was seem to be "skipping checkpoints" - especially checkpoint 2 i guess.

Basically i run 3 laps and the race still wasn't ending.

Running slowly fixed the issue but then you're pretty much bound to loose...

i found myself forced to cheat :P

 

you could add some way to get black soul gem. Its a lvlitem drop which means its pretty much impossible to get if your character is below lv 30-ish.

also maybe some activation on that crystal to make you drop black gem if you have it? having to struggle out of armbinder just to drop that gem is quite a waste of time.

 

- that running all over skyrim bounded quest is a lil extreme. Point is right after it mistress is talking to you that the foundation of this relationship is mutual trust.

For me it was kinda like "Oh the irony... You've just send me to death just for your entertainment and now you're talking about mutual trust?"

i was playing low level char on legendary difficulty.

With no armor on even single wolf is killing you in 2 hits. On top of that armbinder and boots that prevent sprint and slow you down - so there is no point in even trying to outrun them.

And goddamn Rift is one huge zoo ... at some points i had like 10 wolfs running after me....

Was quite surprised that i managed to get back and forth after dying only once... Tho another like 5 times was rather close calls.

 

You could for example make player blindfolded too but assign some other rubber slave to escort you.

 

- Mistress is mentioning that i can use other slaves whenever i like or ask her to request punishment - didnt found any options for either.

 

- Some gasmasks did not trigger "equip event". Tho i dont rly get it why.

 

- for rubber assassin quest i very much hoped that bandit leader would turn out to be female which you would bring to mistress as a new slave. Guess something like this could be cool to add one day.

Quick tip--while Kimy's deviously cursed loot can interfere with Trapped in Rubber, I left the mod installed with all functions disabled in MCM. Like you, I had to try the "devious" ballet boots, and later on the rubber pony boots (similar locking problems.). But deviously cursed loot has the *best* stripping toggle. The "FREE ME!!!" Command in the debug MCM menu will get you out of anything from any mod.

 

Edit: I also hoped that maybe the rubber assassin quest could have a happier outcome if you snuck/back stabbed you way to the top of the tower and saved the slave.

Ballet Boots can be removed through the console like any other DD item.

 

You'll have to player.removeitem a correspinding ScriptInstance item, ID of which can be found through the editor or guessed at by player.showinventory (It will be a worn nameless item with ID beginning with a mod number.) For example, for Blue Ballet Boots type player.removeitem xx03A0F7. That will make it unequip visually, after which you should go to player inventory menu ("i" key I mean) and unequip the item just like regular piece of equipment. There will be no usual DD menus when unequipping it.

 

The rest is true for me as well.

The Mistress tells you that you won't be able to do much when you're back at the track, so basically you'll have to think ahead and make preparations beforehand. I think it's a good thing, actually. When I got to the point where player asks the Mistress about a second race, she gave another warning, after which I was "duh", took the opportunity to postpone the race and made the travel to drop a soul gem before getting on with it. Kinda subtle, liked it a lot.

 

Struggling out of an armbinder is pretty surreal, don't know which mod besides LaDL offers this now, even if did, would prefer not using it. Asking a friend to help out of it makes a lot more sense for me.

I'll second this. As a high level char on Legendary, while trying to get to the nearest friendly NPC, you can get attacked by, say, a Revered Dragon, which seem to spawn every couple of in-game days, or a pack of leveled Volikhar vampires, whose running speed is unreasonably high; possibly both. I'm not that biased against using console "kill" command in such cases, though.

 

Yeah well bitter irony in fact is that over the course of the mod the Mistress is revealed to be a lying hypocritical bitch who's trying to fill the shoes too large for her (or whatever that English expression was, sorry). It's a kind of a parody of a dom personality type, actually, or as it might be viewed from a point of a switch or regular. Say, there're three of her slaves killed during the quest line, which might get one thinking that she is using them as cannon fodder and doesn't give a hoot 'bout any of them at all. From that point killing the Mistress in the end seems like the most plausible solution. It would've been even better to have her locked up for life, of course.

 

EDIT: As a possible alternate, the Mistress could have instructed that Pink slave in the lobby, the one with the broom who isn't particularly fond of the player char, to remove the armbinder when asked. Of course, the Pink slave would want to use that opportunity to do something devious - switch up the plugs, or add a blindfold, or use a lockbreaker, etc.

Open the console, type "enableplayercontrols" without quotes, then initiate dialogue with her to advance. There'll be a couple more spots where you'll have to do this.

 

EDIT: Yeah, and it was fixed with the latest update, please download and install.

Hi, nice to see an expension to this mod but I cannot find how to start the quest after the party ?

I put back to suit and get out but nothing happen, the only dialog I get is to remove the suit.

First of all: You must start a new game. Continuing from a previous TIR version is NOT supported.

 

The quest should start when you confront the Mistress about why you had to put your rubber suit back on to leave the basement.

 

If that does not happen, something is blocked. Check via 'sqv tir_pr_start01' that all aliases have been filled. If the quest is not running, start it. It should then auto-advance to stage 10 after a few seconds. If that does not happen, you have a problem...

anyone know the setsrage for the rubber abduction mission after i have got the carla back to the tower i wait to see the mistress she talks about the woman i am to go and abduct but the mission dosent appear in my sornal or appear on screen ?......

Quest is runnung fine, you just might not get any notices in your journal. Just do what you've been told by the Mistress, see "quest overview and help" on the mod's description page. Quest's ID at the console is tir_twr_abduct01. If still having trouble, you can do "sqs tir_twr_abduct01" and "setstage tir_twr_abduct01 xx", xx being the first stage from the sqs list that's listed as 0. Hope that helps.

Hmm found the mistress hidding in the party room sitting on her throne when she went missing and i also got the problem with delivering the rubber assassin quest.don't know how to start the next q trough console. But other than that really like the mod

Do rubber gloves have a keyword? I only found tir_rubberSuit rubberGasmask and rubberFeet.

 

They must have some unique keyword as you are checking for them in a quest when dropping the poison right?

No, there's no keyword for that (yet). The code for the Rubber Ally quest only gets the armor currently on the hand slot and checks if it has the keyword tir_MaterialRubber.

I'm creating abilities that activate when a specific part of gear is worn. I previously did it by checking if keyword materialrubber>3 but it did not allow doing skills for each part individually + some other items might be using the keyword.

 

The abilities so far are:

Gasmask - reduced stamina regen because of harder breathing

Catsuit - reduced stamina because of tight suit pressing on lungs

Gloves - reduced weapon skill or weapon damage as its harder to grip a weapon in the sleek rubber gloves

Boots - no idea here, maybe penalty to sneak due to squeaking (negative muffle effect)

 

Don't know if I should make individual ranks for each part of gear separately in the creation kit (gasmask 1,2,3 ..) or if there is a way to merge them into a single script file (so that it's easier to edit later). Would prefer second option .

 

The idea here is to slowly reduce the penalties during the quest as the player gets more accustomed to being trapped in the suit, until none remain.

Could you please give the console command to skip the second pony race? I still cannot get it to start, where the Mistress discusses with doubling their bet, but then nothing happens.

I'm asking because I would really enjoy doing the quests after the race ;)

Just completed a complete playthrough of the new version of the mod, and I have to say great job.  Rubber isn't even really a thing I'm interested in, but the story and events are interesting enough by themselves to make the mod worth playing.

 

For how obviously complicated the mod is, I only had a few technical problems with a few of the new quests, and some of them may have been mod conflicts.  I was able to muddle my way through problem areas with some use of console commands, and I believe most of the issues I had have been mentioned or may have been caused by mods I ended up disabling later.  For instance, the introductory explanation walk for the first pony race wouldn't fire for me until I disabled a few additional devious devices mods (such as More Devious Quests) that seemed to be interfering with the script starting properly.

 

One suggestion I would make for future content would be the addition of a simple MCM menu to advance the story to set checkpoints/set proper quest flags/variables ect.  The story is fun but still long, and while I will keep some of my saves in anticipation of more content, I probably won't want to play through the story again in its entirety if updates require a clean save or if my console muddling this round has messed up the quest data.  It would be great if there was a toggle to advance to the canonical endings of main story sections for replaying or new characters.  This would also mean you don't have to worry as much about content additions not working older versions of the mod.

 

Thanks for the story, quite enjoyed it.

Excellent work as always Grey, I found myself impressed every step of the way! One thing I wanted to bring up is that on a new character my save is over 55 kb upon completing the series, which seems very large. Has anyone else been experiencing this issue?

Have you tried setting a higher number ? 100 does not need to be the end of a quest

I've chosen to keep the bondage gears (plugs, chastity, rings) after the race and now I don't know how to get rid of them (its really annoying when I get a animation every time I cast a spell).

 

Could you add an option to ask the mistress to remove/re-add the extra gear? Asking her to take of the rubber does not take off the extra gear.

Ok, weird...It worked this time. It might be that i have unintentionally not waited for the conversation to end automatically when answering the mistress if ready for race or not. So the race worked and I won.

 

Now the next problem has arised:

After everybody talks to Velnar and after he teleports away, the last sentence of the mistress is the end. Nothing happens after that, and there's no way to influence the dialogue. They just keep standing there... any thoughts?

You could try 'setstage tir_pr_controller 80'. The quest tir_pr_race01 is the actual race. It is probably at stage 100 from last time and hasn't been reset yet.

 

But I can't check right now and I don't have everything in my head. So I'm just guessing.

If I understood you correctly, you have a problem with the forcegreet not happening. Try disabling anything that could interfere before you start the quest (Cursed Loot, More Devious Dialogs, etc). You can also try to advance the quest manually (tir_twr_toy01). I don't know the stages off the top of my head. Check with 'sqs <questname>' and choose the one closest to current.

I also had a few issues with tir_twr_toy01, mostly hanging at stage 90 while zenosha waits for... Spoilers. I eventually made it through after reloading back to the inn before being stunned. Something just didn't click the first time through.

 

On my second try getting through the scene, the bounty hunter (bad with names) accidentally aggroed an NPC in the dragonbridge inn right before the fade to black, and entered the cell as a corpse. Whoops.
