I wish there was a way to download a "4.1 to 4.2" update or something where you wouldn't have to download the entire mod again. Took me 2 hours to download this and it's corrupted (downloaded through Mega).

 

Edit: Nevermind, I am dumb. I was looking for the mod in the wrong folder (for some reason it saved in a place where I don't ever save my mods in). All is fine.

In MO mod is registering 4.0 rather than 4.2. Both DDI and DDX are doing this.

I couldn't download the normal way, it'd error out at about 700 meg.  So I got the Mega version, which is much smaller.  Probably related, the Fighters Gloves and Boots are both purple instead of black.

The only difference I can found between those two different versions is the packaging method (7z vs zip). 7z is more efficient and if you unpack both versions, they have the same size. I just checked this.

It's doing the same thing in NMM too, for some reason. (At least, it is for me.)

If you follow the DDI thread.. :

Probably a mistake by the DD-team while packaging the final release. Nothing serious. Can easily be corrected on the player end as well.

7. And don't forget to use Bodyslide to build the assets. Half of all user support requests root in them not running Bodyslide. RUN BODYSLIDE!!!!

 

IF THE DEVICES ARE INVISIBLE IN GAME, YOU FORGOT TO RUN BODYSLIDE AND BATCH BUILD THE DEVICES!!!

I have looked up bodyslide/batch build and get no understandable info..because I am using NO special body for my player character.  Could someone help this poor dumb person in understanding what to do?

You need to use Bodyslide to build the items.

When I try to extract, winrar gives an error: 'unexpected end of file.'

When I try to add from archive inside mod organizer, it also gives an error: 'none of the avvailable installer plugins were able to handle that archive.'

 

Any help you all could give would be great.

Thanks Laura, I went over as you said in step 1 and 2.  On step 3, which is the normal, no special body style to use....so I tried CBBE Slim.  The Step 4 I hit batch build and I have nothing in my block like yours says...No DDA-CBBE, NOTHING.... so what does that mean?

Note that one of the downloads is a .zip file and the other is a .7z. file. When unpacked, the sizes are the same, at least for me.

GitHub doesn't support 7z (which is a much more effective format), that's why. The unpacked files should indeed be the same.

I dont know about anyone else but i cant download this 4.2 file version is anyone else having troubles it gets too around 400mb in then dies repeatedly tried different pcs and different internet connections nothing seems to work

That is known issue. Kimy linked a MEGA download on the previous page that should work for you.
