For myself I've got mine set 1:4 .  My female PC had single a single baby twice.  The third time she conceived triplets.   The lower the numbers means the chance for conceiving more than one are more likely. :)    Perhaps for Deimos you may have to use the reset function in the MCM to clear up the problem you are experiencing.  If you have done that, and it is still not working....then I am not sure why 1:1 ratio isn't working.  :-/

Thanks. That's what I thought; I just wanted to be sure. Just feels "wrong" to pull the slider left when you want to increase something. :P

The 1:1 ratio is working just fine, the amount of babies is directly caused by the number of sperm inside the pc at time of conception.

My pc has 1 or 3 or 6 depending on how many sperm she has inside her at time of conception...

hope this helps.

Another option is make it like a shield mesh where its on your back when you have it sheathed,...and you're holding the baby when you raise your weapon,...

Don't try that at home. Never block a sword dash with your baby.

couldn't resist

What about using it to bash?

Sir, that's the worst idea I've ever read, never bash with a buckler baby, because the enemie's sword is longer. Even blocking with your baby would be more useful.

Use the baby while both of the swords are meeting to push his swordsarm to one side. That way you'll be able to cut the opponent's neck, but you have to look for a new baby before facing the next enemy.

Apologies in advance if that was already suggested...

In the same spirit as the mod Knocked Up, it would be nice to have an add-on for Beeing Female that would set a few women in advanced stages of pregnancy right off the bat. Seren in Dawnstar is a prime target as she is expecting already in the vaniilla game.

I don't mean something as randomized or elaborate as Knocked Up but a few, handpicked NPCs would be nice to have.

Aha! I have found a loophole, I believe! I can cover the baby in armor plating, and get four, maybe five uses of it before having to find a new baby.

Thanks Theodore, I had my suspicions about "number of men's sperm" and the chance of conceiving multiples. :)

Now, since Hrothgar's birth Epona became pregnant again by a frost troll with twins.  She gave birth to 1 boy and 1 girl.  Proud of them I am, so here are some screen shots of all 4 of her current children.  Mathias is darker than Crystal.  The last picture is one of them (couple in pic at least) helping Epona out with Embershard mine.

Since I've already spoke about Zelda (From horse), I'll talk more on the other three.

Crystal and Mathias both speak with respective child voice.  Though they fight like their father.

Hrothgar has daddy's white hair and pure black eyes.  His skin is a little gray due to his father as well. Heck of a two-handed fighter.

Both Zelda and Hrothgar summon familars.  Zelda is a dual wielder / archer.   :D

magnusx I am a modder myself.  Mostly a "skinner" or texture maker.   So I made myself a elf child / beast child mod with RS children.  She has some nice out fits for the children to wear.  For the armour I made it that children can also wear it.

For Zelda's horse look I made the eyes, got the ears from another mod that has many types of animals ears and tails.  The shoes I borrowed from another mod and made them resemble the father horse.   Since I use a sexy female armour mod I made Zelda's added ears, hooves, and tail her version of light armour, her clothes come from the RS children mod.  I also made a recolour of one of the outfits for Zelda to wear as if it is her armour.

Hrothgar I made his all black eyes and made a custom hair and skin colour so he could have some of his father's traits, again the clothing is from RS children overhaul.  Since he has heavy armour I gave him some Nordic armour and a ebony cuiass.

The Troll children are just scaled down frost trolls with their mother's hair colour (blue/black).  I made a custom Frost troll child race so that I could keep the father trolls stats while giving the beast child the ability to act just like any other kid.  Exceptions are that because they are trolls they cannot sit or interact with some things.  Other than that they engage the PC as any child follower would.  I did try to make it that they could wield weapons.  However I realized there are no animations to support this.  So I just stuck with their natural born talents and upped their damage slightly.   I did give them the ability to regenerate health and stamina, even in battle.

All the children are capable of leveling up to level 150.  I've made their speeds around 120(Zelda/Hrothgar) to 150 (troll kids) so they can keep up better.  I've given the two human-like children their skills when I made them so they would level up as they did.  Zelda is 1-handed / dual wielder under a thief type build.  Hrothgar is a 2-handed warrior build.  I also gave them three basic spells.... flames, frostbite, and heal.  They also have their Breton race traits from Epona.   They can wield the weapons they have because I had made it part of their beginning skills.  I also use AFT which also has them act just like a regular type follower being able to be equipped with items children generally do not use. :)

Thank you! magnusx.    Susanoo27 is working on a beast baby mod and milzschnitte is handling the "regular" kids.  I'm just doing my kids this way till they can do a real integration.   It will be exciting to see when it happens.  :D

Is there/will there be a way to heal the baby ?  It's quite hard to play as usual when one monster's bite takes him 5% of its life :P

Sleeping and drinking healing potions should heal the baby

It SHOULD heal the baby, but it doesn't. Sleeping heals by 1% every 24 hours or so, which I think is just the standard increase of health over time.

I can't seem to make the baby get any healthier with food, potions, sleep, or any other direct effect.

When my character was first pregnant, I had the same problem. I found I had to change my play style, I brought a follower as a protector, switched to long ranged attack style. Or if need be, running away from big fight tactics. Conjuring a flame atronauch, then running away is really good. The cowards way is the best way, when pregnant. I mostly kept out of the dungeons, doing mainly the safer, lower priority missions like the thieves guilld missions, and found the baby slowly healed up, with little impact to my adventuring.

It's also a good time for inventory cleaning in the relative safety of towns, and weapons and armour upgrading whilst the baby heals up.

It adds a little bit more realism, as it forces you to stay  away from the dragon fights and draugr filled dungeons whilst pregnant...

My character is big Orc Amazon type. She loves the swing of an Axe. At this point (RP-wise), she's not even sure she's pregnant yet, but the baby is already down to 75% HP. I read back through the thread and it appears that this may be a bug, where sleeping and health potions don't do anything like they should. Here's hoping it gets fixed soon. (@milzschnitte)  :)

I've got the Beta where you get the baby healing spell.  I used it soon after securing the fort.  She gave birth to twin sons from a frost dragon only 12 game hours after this pic.  During that particular battle she got the braxton hicks contractions.  Hence why she is just a monster out there. :D  I guess I got "Xena Syndrom"   :P

Here is a screen shot of her at that fort fight.

Edit: I just solved a problem I was having with my troll looking children fighting.   They would only fight when they had no choice.  They were not as assertive as their more Breton looking siblings.  I found out why when I was making the frost dragon twins.  I mistakenly checked the "child" box when creating the races.  This means no matter how brave I make them, they will react as vanilla Skyrim children often do.   Duck and hide.  So I just unchecked the box and now the Frost Troll and Dragon twins fight like they should.  ;)

I am enjoying this mod very much but I seem to be having an issue getting the belly to work. I followed your instructions and switched from UNPB to UNP to make sure there were no issues and did the overwrites manually to make sure nothing was missed. Unfortunately the belly stays the same. I use Mod Organizer and tried to overwrite them that way after backtracking but that did not work either. (MO Overwrites are so confusing...). I hate to be "This guy" but am I missing anything? Also can this work with the UNPB body or does it have to be UNP?

(Just started modding again after 5 months so things are slow coming back to me :s)

Thanks again for the answer.

It has to be a body with the belly weights. Some choices for the UNP/UNPB body:

UNP Jiggle by Kendo 2

UNP Variant for HDT v 1.01 (I have not personally tested this one so I can't vouch for whether the PSB belly weights work correctly or not)

b3lisario's UNPB BBP Pregnant Body (beta) (This one has been around the longest... I'm unsure if the NPC.Belly bones are up to date with the latest HDT xml... stuff. Someone more knowledgeable than I on such matters could chime in.)

There might be other bodies available out there but those are the ones i know of that have the belly weights.

Good job, great mod. I'd like to report a bug that I found. When I was testing 'washing out sperm' to see how it works, I found out that no matter how long the sperm is present in the body it will always be washed by potions. It seems that game doesn't take into account the setting of 'sperm age' im mcm (the maximum age of sperm that can be washed out). If I set it to 0 hours or if I wait until age of sperm in body exceeds the age set in mcm, which should make the sperm unwashable, the potions will still clean everything,

Also I've been testing the effectivness of sperm cleaning potions. Actually what is bugging me is how does Anti sperm essence safe zone option from mcm work with potions. Potions have 60, 75, 100% removal. If I set  Anti sperm essence safe zone to 0% potions won't work at all and that is how it should be. But if I increase it by 0.5% potions start to work but it feels as if they work too well. I tested 0.5% on 7 sperms present using 100% removal potion and I needed 2 potions to be completly clean(tried it couple of times), 75% removal potion worked just slightly worse. Anti sperm essence safe zone should decrease the chance that all sperm will be washed out. The way the math works bugs me, if someone knows please explain. I'm using BeingFemale with Defeat mod and I'm trying to tweak the setting to make the unwanted pregnancy a possibility.

Thank you for the suggestions. I tried all 3 but no luck yet. I am not sure what I am doing wrong but the belly still will not show. :s

Make sure that you install femalebody_0 and _1.nif to correct place. If you use any custom race, you may need to install those body to directory for those custom race. Because every program just install femalebody.nif file to Vanilla directory.

Do custom races work for this mod? I usually play as  the Lunari race and I got pregnant and protected that baby with my life so it didn't die and when it finally came time to have the baby... nothing... I waited a very long time for the labor pains to start and then nothing. It went from labor pains to just my characters stomach going back to normal and being in the replanish I think it's spelled in game. So I'm just wondering if I'm at fault with using a custom race because there was no animations or babies anywhere. Also adding that it said I had given birth but to ummm nothing.

I completely forgot I was using a custom race. >.< and I was running around checking 30 different things and when I read your post my mind went blank and then "Dumbass" popped up in my head. Thank you. :) (Thank you for the information, not the dumbass thing,,, XD)

I had that happen when I turned off a add-on for BF.  I used the reset function for my character and add-ons.  After that the baby(ies) would be in her inventory.  Even if you haven't done anything like I did,  perhaps using the reset function may help. :)

Well as much as Epona loves all her babies.  It is difficult to carry the infant "effigies".  Hating to put them in a box, barrel, or ground.  I came up with this....

I put it in the Temple of Mara.  I felt they would be "safe" there while Epona is busy adventuring with the older versions of the babies.  :D

Edit:  umm sorry about the double post.
