I use CBBE HDT Bodyslide Armor Replacer, can i use this with that, afaik they already have belly node? i read in front page that we need to install another armor replace

I used Fertility Mode when it was actively developed but came back to BF because :

1) BF became much more stable with the patches provided by @Bane Master in the comments section

2) Fertility Mode is missing a lot of features (in that way it is "lighter" than BF)

3) FM isn't in active development anymore, and feels to me like a half-finished project

 

If your choice isn't based on script heaviness, just go with Beeing Female.  If you want a really basic and light pregnancy mod, you could try FM.

So I've been having an issue with the pregnancy scaling. With the armors the scaling works as it should, however without the armor the scaling on NPC's is not there until the next scaling tick where it suddenly updates and lasts about 5 minutes or until I fast travel. Another thing is that the female characters seem to take a while to load in, often being invisible until the models materialize and stretch in from beyond the sky.

 

Any help would be very grateful.

Well known issue. Ignore it. It comes from how B-F updates the bodys. If you dont fasttravel that often it will not happen that often.

If you get stretch as you say, that comes from HDT and is not some from this mod.

No doubt that BeeingFemale is more fully featured than Fertility Mode, though that difference is closing to the point where I'm no longer tempted to switch back to BeeingFemale myself. ;) I'd love to hear what features are missing from Fertility Mode that you'd like to see (please PM me so we don't corrupt an unrelated thread), because you're incorrect that it's not in active development. While I did take a short break the last two months or so, I've by no means stopped development nor frozen the build because there's still stuff to be done.

 

In terms of "buggy", BeeingFemale is actually quite stable. A couple of years ago it was a core mod in my load order where I dropped anything truly buggy like a bad habit. The buggy parts are more related to spawned child actors where those features feel like they've been neglected. The real problem, and one of the reasons I began work on replacements, is the script load from cell scans for adding and updating the cycle of encountered women. BeeingFemale seems less stable because the script load is quite high and can negatively affect other running scripts. That's precisely why Fertility Mode doesn't include such a scan, but I'm actively working on a solution that doesn't hit as hard.

 

I think it's important to differentiate between "stable in isolation" and "stable in any random load order". Making a mod stable when it's the only mod in the load order is trivial. Making a mod stable when there's an unknown number of mods in the load order out of the many thousands available is extremely difficult for a mod with any complexity. The stuff we do with BeeingFemale and Fertility Mode is definitely complex, and I imagine Milz would agree that development was peaches and cream until other people started using the mod(s) with myriad load orders. ;)

I can fully say 1+ on your post Narue.

If you install Beeing Female as you should, check over that you dont make one stupid load whit mods that add even more scripts that needs to start when cell changes, it will work fine.

Read all 228 pages of information about what you need to check ?

 

Have tried your mod to, I like it runs fine, no problem to install, but it misses parts that Beeing Female have, It is more or less dead race between them. All is all about what you prefere.

Indeed, it's all about preference. Fertility Mode started as exactly what I wanted out of BeeingFemale, almost down to the way I configured it, and expanded into making things configurable for everyone as well as the invariable improvements that come from user feedback (my mods would be shit without ideas from the community). Funny story, I wanted the baby sling so much that I pushed the feature off for months until I gained permission to use it.

 

I'm especially interested in what parts you feel are missing, Uncle64, because there's a strong chance I'll implement them if they're not already on the enhancement list. There are a handful of folks I have innumerable respect for on LL, and you're one of them.

 

Again, to avoid corrupting the thread with discussion of other mods, please PM me. I'm a big fan of BeeingFemale and feel I understand it with enough depth to participate in this thread on a technical level, but when my competing mods come up I rather feel like I'm the enemy. ;)

To have children that can follow you and do lvl as more they learn. That is what I miss.

I do know that it is not that easy to do part. There is issues whit them, my self want to have the possibility to that all npc:s can be killed.

The biggest issue whit B-F children is they are tanks as they are now. Like one mini immortal Mjoll.

 

When you check their stats, the game more or less freeze, but still runs.

If you are unlucky and use one "cleaner" you will ruin the children.

You can see that in several of the posts, when people nags about negative stats on npc/children/pregnancys

 

Did try for my self make one pluging that allowed kill born children, but my CK skill is terrible bad. So I only could kill my own children not one npc children.

For many versions ago you actually could send your children to your father/mother but that part did go away for some reason. Dont know, I think it is one error in one of the master scripts.

 

 

But I have more or less right now stopped whit Skyrim, playing FO4 right now. I did break my 640 hour game due to the thumb on the wrong side of the hand when I did install one new SSD disk.

Thanks a lot for your answer!! I just like BF for the compatibility with RS children but is so heavy for my potato laptop.

a long time ago when i used to use BF i seemed to recall people getting red legs near the pelvic region when they were menstruating.  or am i confused and it was something else.  if it is this mod when should that effect be happening?  my chracter is currently menstruating with the panties icon on the side of the screen but i do not see any redness on her legs.  i am using YPS immersive fashions is that getting in the way somehow?

If you are using the patch it should still happen but as it also now triggers some debuffs it it is occurs based on where the player is in their menstruation phase.

 

The effect isn't that great - what we really need is somebody with the right skills to create a low, medium, heavy and severe bleed set of slavetats that I could implement in the patch instead!

Bane, would you be willing to root out that bloody annoying couple maker (and especially it's HUD widget) for the next patch? I mean I've gone even so far to delete it from several files altogether (together with turning it on and then off, and reloading save which doesn't work anymore), yet that pest still persists and ruins my gameplay and from what I've seen I'm not the only one.

Agreed, no matter how many times I change the INI file to set it to false nor how many times I turn it off it always comes back every reload forcing me to turn on couple maker, disable it and the turn couple maker back off.   Got me so frustrated I've almost uninstalled it several times.

Just wanted to say that now that I've got it working, I love this mod.  My only question is, does belly scaling increase when the character is pregnant with multiples?  So far my character has only conceived one each time and none of the NPCs have had multiples either for comparison....

I'm not sure if this has been asked before but I can't seem to find anything for this...

I have a sos add-on for females and in the sexlab my character is set the be recognized as male but BF still give my character the menstrual cycle.

How can I make it so my character can impregnate other women?

Hi, is anyone else having a CTD on save with Beeing female active in LO?
Anyone fixed this and or knows what the problem is? I've tried player.kill and reverting to other saves or cleaning out dead scripts already...

You need to enable female to female cum in either Sexlab or Beeing Female, can't recall which.  Once you do that your gal can impregnate as many ladies as you can bed.
