theoretically racemenu/nio has had this problem forever. its only just now been exposed that the game is fucking with something it shouldn't.

 

i am also not happy with the turn xpmse has gone. i personally believe it to also be a source of a lot of crashing and glitches because i think the skeleton actually has more scripting than sgo3 at this point. the skeleton even has an mcm now ffs. plus its using features of nio that only xpmse has ever tested, so who knows if there are other creepy glitches lurking in there.

 

the skeleton is also using a cloak effect now that i keep begging him to make optional or turn the fuck off. have you also noticed that your weapons and stuff move a little when you open/close menus?

It's indeed sad to hear that he uses a cloak for a damn skeleton too. I mean what is it supposed to do anyway? Isn't it enough that we can have moving boobs with gravity?

its part of the weapon scale system which i dont think you can turn off. something about so you can change the sizes of shit on npcs. i dont know. every time i think about it i just go gawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwddddddddddddddddddddd.

That definately shoud be an addon indeed. I mean not everyone uses that option btw it was just an addon in xpmse 2.06 (or something). Dunno now.

from what i understand from Groov, you can, though the esp also has something to do with Realistic Ragdolls, as well as the stuff for the weapons. you can always try it and see what happens

Can I suggest changing shape of gems you get through the oven? I mean  if you look at grand and grater soul gem they would kill my poor succubus :(

In PSQ there is pregnancy option and from there you get nice round soul gems. Maybe you could use that (with permission) or take it as reference.

 

Also toggle to allow only player char to get pregnant? You know she is succubus so she can pop soul gems, but every body else is normal and should get babies. I realise that you can disable it through SGOmenu, but doing it for every single actor is bit pain.

Well, it looks like version 007 fixed the werewolf problem for me, so good work there!

 

The slave issue seems to be related to the bandit one.  Bandits and other nameless NPCs (that seem in this case to have been turned into slaves via some mod or another) don't scale, regardless of menu settings, and regardless of armor.  This did work in SGO 2, though I can't say why exactly.

 

The pictured bandit is the same amount of pregnant in both mods.  She is (mostly) naked, using a modified UUNP Special nif that works fine for players and named NPCs.

Well I'm not going to be much help fixing this,however I can tell you this is an issue with your install and not sgo3. I am also using sgo3 and my bandit slaves are scaling correctly.

 

Have you by chance tried a new game?

I am using Paradise halls, and its working just fine. And I am using cbbe hdt body. (It also worked when I used UUNP.) 

 

However I have to ask: is he using the pah add-on found here on loverslab?

I am indeed using the PAH addon. But it always Always worked for sgo 2. I don't really understand why it wouldn't work. I also placed sgo above Paradise so it should track it. Shouldn't  it? 

 

 

 

 

 

Still working on my random (and incredibly instantaneous) CTD issue.

 

I replicated the profile in MO using the same Racemenu, Aroused Redux, skeletons, bodies... everything.

The ONLY difference is, in one profile I have SGO3, and in the other soulgem oven 209.

 

Left and right panes match between the 2 profiles (meaning all of the order of load is the same for both)

 

The SGO3 one randomly CTDs.

The soulgem oven 209 one does not.

 

Right now I'm going through each to see if there is a particular armor being worn by a follower in one that's not being worn by anyone in the other. (I actually did have an armor capable of causing CTD once... can't remember what issue it had, but getting rid of it fixed the issue)

 

Right now.... I'm still pretty clueless.

 

Oh, and both profiles are using bodies and armors built with tri files. Nice when everything just fits... every time.

I do seem to have this weard crash too once in a while. I Always blamed it on too many scripts because i have daymoyl and sanguines debauchery+ and estrus chaurus + installed. But the crash only seems to happen after playing for 2 hours on end AND when i changed the belly and breast scale a bit. Also changing the amount of days before it ripens seems to have an effect too. So it's just what console said. It has something to do with nio.

 

 

 

i am waiting until racemenu 3.4.4 comes out before worrying too hard. 

 

scan your Documents\My Games\Skyrim\SKSE\skse_nioverride.log for obvious errors to see if anything wonky has been going on. there was kinda a serious issue that was exposed via the transition from hdt hh to nio that he had to work around and really i wouldn't be surprised if it has been causing other issues elsewhere.

 

i am also NOT using morphs, because reasons. mostly diskspace.

 

 

Ok, i will do that. Btw did it require a new racemenu update or something because i still use 3.2 something i think. That might be the cause of the crashes maybe. I was very hesitant of upgrading as i had a lot problems last time i did (i mentioned that in the thread a loooong long time ago, maybe you still remember?).

 

 

racemenu 3.4.1 gave some weird message when I updated from 3.2 then started a new game with that loaded so I went back to 3.2.2, but upgraded nilO

I asked in version 2 about the requirements for racemenu and the need for the esp and it was brought up again more recent by somebody who didn't like the log spam from the esp and both time he said its safe to disable it if you don't use the weapon scale

I've been using it that way ever since - even with sd running, ragdoll effect still works like a charm: pretty much just need the skeleton files from it to overwrite ragdoll skeleton

yea i dont like saying yes because Groov has changed so much since the original XPMS that i dont know alot about it. especially script stuff, mesh stuff im ok with, but i know very very little about scripts.

soulgem oven 1 was originally a stolen idea from a mod called "soulgem pregnancy" which was written by a guy who knew more than me (at that time) but not in english or any character set that my editor could open and have his comments not be fucked up unicode binary. that mod had these soulgem eggs that were round and rolled all thefuckever and they also weren't usable for anything really as they didn't replace the meshes for soulgems, they were separate.

 

don't look at me though for making mesh replacements, i cant stand 3ds max lol. im a coder through and through qed XD

SGO3 (007) bugs I've found (first run):

1. Inseminating clothed sleeper: Clothes are removed but animation is delayed (inseminate adds gem normally).  After short delay NPC stands on bed and animation starts with clothes on.  Animation continues well after normal duration and appears to be stuck on in a loop.  I fixed it by inseminating again- after regular inseminate duration it stopped and she returned to bed.  May do the same with gem insertion?

2. Gem Transfer to NPC:  Receiver's arm thickness scales were apparently set to be very thin during transfer- returned to normal after.

 

Requests:

1. Multiselect gems for insertion or inseminate in bulk- such that menus aren't needed for each individual one.

2. Higher selectable gem capacity in MCM (24-32 would be nice).

 

Other thoughts: Was a bit disturbed when picking up semen bottles sounded like I was chugging them.

That's what I had in mind. Since normal soul gems are mined(?) they look like crystals, while the one you birth have more organic feel.

 

But I guess since that would require to add another separate set of soul gems it would cause some kind of problems and probably a lot of them. Oh well I guess I can imagine that my succubus lady is changing petty ones in to black ones while skipping other stages.

 

How about that player only option?

OK, in my continuing efforts to figure out what's causing my random CTDs in one profile.... I deactivated SGO3, loaded, waited, saved, exited, cleaned, loaded, waited, saved, exited, checked the cleaning, loaded, waited, saved, ran around... did useless shit... no crash. Exited, activated Soulgem Oven 2 (209). Loaded.... ran around doing useless shit... had sex with a follower and..... game froze. Right after we finished and stood up. Didn't crash so might be something else, but..... sheeeeesh. I had all scaling OFF in SGO 2. 

 

So the only thing that was really happening was unequipping and reequipping armor.

 

If THAT was the trigger though.... then why would I crash when standing around doing nothing (which sometimes happens).

 

So.... I keep looking.

 

My next experiment will be to take a fresh game start, never seen SGO or anything that scales, install shit... and see if I can replicate the crashing. But I'm going to start with Racemenu 3.3.0 because my profiles with that version seem perfectly stable.

Did it happen with any type or armor you wore? Maybe a texture or something became corrupt with the armor you were wearing at the time? I've no idea, just spitballin.

tbh it sounds like he's just experiencing the same shit i have been experiencing for the past two years. i assume nio is behind it somehow, because it has its fingers in *everything*.

could still be nio. I'm certainly not willing to point a finger at SGO3 yet, but with SGO3 out and SGO2 in its place.... same profile mind you so everything is the same... I've been running just over an hour with no crash. Sexing, milking, waiting, waiting with FreeCam on (makes time go REALLY fast! AND you get a rested bonus!), fast traveling, armored up, running around naked.....

 

It's like right now I can't MAKE it crash.

 

MME is in the profile, follower is a milk maid and she's scaling with MME set on NiO.

 

So ... *IS* it a NiO problem? 

 

I also have morph files for everything in this profile but no BodyGen stuff. But I had the morph files when it was crashing too.

 

So right now it's behind this window.... camera rotating cause I haven't touched it. Going to take the dogs out. Before... I'd come back in and it would be crashed to desktop.

 

Maybe it's my damn DOGS!!!!  The sneaky little bastards.....

sexlab is another cause - but not sexlab itself. anything that uses the GetScale() function, e.g. "even actors height" in sexlab - GetScale() is very well documented to cause crashes after too many uses. and sometimes that usecount only has to be one.


also the creature penis mods yep. i think they handle temporary actors improperly sometimes. wandering the wilderness i get a lot less crashes with MNC or SNC disabled.

I'll have a look at my setting for "even actor height"

 

*edit* Even Actor Height was not enabled.... 

 

But a component of MNC does spam the fuck out of the logs. SexLab Nude Creatures .... spammy.... very spammy...

 

But I've tried turning logging off to see if I was just getting overloaded with log spam. Game ran a little better, but it still crashed.

 

So far... still running. Tabbing out of it occasionally to do stuff, and still running.

defeat was another one causing me problems. "sabercat wants to rape ." *crash*


which also reminds me, if i feel like its crashing too much, i re-run fnis XD sometimes i might have uninstalled a mod or something that had an animation.

 

im also having problems atm where sometimes not all the sliders in racemen load. go to body scales and only the basics will be there. shortly after seeing that i will also experience a crash.

 

sitting on old racemenus and old xpmse's could also be the source of crashes, because, they do actually fix things in new versions too sometimes.
