Basically that no-one took H1N1 seriously or freaked out about it even though it started off pretty much the same as CV19.  Yeah, the pic isn't accurate any more, but people really didn't freak out much about the last few epidemics/pandemics we've had (least not near where I live (except the media of course, they'll freak about anything if they think they can make money off it)).  It has always been like shootings in Chicago (or any other major American city), the media freaks and everyone in the surrounding area goes "Yeah, but who cares that isn't happening here." And that reaction hasn't really changed. They scream bloody murder about the number of confirmed cases and deaths in major urban areas and anyone to a functional brain is going "well no shit, people are less able to avoid contact with others in high density urban areas, what were you expecting?"  Much like the issue of childhood obesity, they never want to discuss demographics.  We'll scream about the death toll, but we won't mention that nursing homes and assisted living facilities are the hardest hit.

I'm of the mind - If I can stream it, I should be able to record/download it. Other's seem to think this is wrong, I guess so I can get hit with millions of advertisements over and over in an unsuccessful attempt to get me to pay more for a product which cost more due to the advertising budgets. Talk about a snake eating it's own tail....
