Not sure what the hell it is, so far the other starts I have tried don't CTD, so only the shipwreck gives me that problem so far.  However I'm also running into an issue with the non SD starts, after all the devices are put on, I can't move at all, as in not walk, even slowly.  The SD starts, like the Warlock enslavement, don't do this. So its likely a problem with my DD setup, whatever the hell it might be.

 

Also, the start of being shipwrecked but starting on a frozen wasteland does not complete the LAL quest, clicking on the bed will give the "sleep is the last thing on my mind" message. 

 

EDIT 1: Hah! I couldn't move because of the hood! I could move around in first person (while practically blind :P) but not in third. Once I got the hood off I could move normally in third, which makes sense now.  Still not sure what is going on with the ship though.

Okay, the crashing definitly were my textures overloading my video system. Still I'm getting pretty bad framerates in the sunken shipwreck. I mean bad as in like 5-8 fps

I then tfc'ed a bit through the shipwreck and disabled all the dead slaves I could find and things got better. I think the 4 in the cage underwater did have the strongest effect, but that could have been my imagination. After that things were at least playable. After that I doublechecked with another safe (this time your version of the escape from the cell) and everything worked fine. It still could be something on my end, though, as I have a metric f-ton of mods installed...;)

I tried the ship start, and it worked for me... I'll try it again tomorrow, *with* Frostfall active, but I don't think I'll make it to safety with what I found so far. Things are pretty brutal that far up north with FF's default settings.

As a heads up: I am having no problems with the mod itself, but one of the starts where you are enslaved by a bandit puts you in an outpost where two fairly high level and voiced friendly Forsworn NPC's from the Interesting NPC's mod spawn. This meant that within 20 seconds of starting, I was free by dint of them going murder-happy on all the bandits.

 

It would be unfair to expect this mod to change based on this one silly thing, but it is something to note.

How many ship starts are there? I chose escaped but still in a lot of trouble, then the slave ship crashed start.

Thanks for testing! Just 1 ship start, though others say you've been shipwrecked and have already gotten out.

Well just keep in mind, I have these hints on the first page spoiler: 1. You may have to cut freezing down to half if you're gonna run with death and freezing from water on. 2.You start next to a removable torch, keep it held when not in water. 3. There are 10 burned books nearby that I put there so that you could start a fire. 4. LAL already starts you next to snowberry potion but you're gonna wanna probably have the gag cutoff ASAP to use it. 5. Save the alcohol for emergency situtations, after it wears off Frostfall adds all the exposure back and then some. 6. LAL starts you next to some fur armor. 

 

I used to die while getting the armbinder off, though now that that torch is nearby it may keep this from happening, idunno.

Those NPCs are already there, all I've done is swap the leader out for a chick leader. I've dealt with valtheim towers many times, those npcs are all there already, though I may have always used LAL when I went to it... dunno.

Lol, totally forgot to throw the mini script in for the frozen wasteland start. GJ me. 

 

I will have another version up very soon that adds the orc start, fixes some bugs, gives a blindfold option, and of course has the frozen wasteland start scripts. It will also just add the armbinder for everyone since the new version of SD is out and should work fine with the armbinders.

Updated to 0.2.0

 

- Added M/F orc recaptured start
- Fixed various bugs that might cause the IS mission not to complete
- Armbinder on equip for everyone since the new version of SD works with armbinders now
- Choice between blindfold or hood or both (equips fake hood, which is replaced with real on removal of all blinding items).
- Choice for dark cowl is still possible for all (blindfold, hood, or both) by writing in some clunky thing about finding the hood on your person when you can see. Conditions worked out to allow to put hood on if you're near guards.
- Fized frozen wasteland start problem by actually including the starting script for it

Having an odd experience, wondering if anyone else is...  

 

SD+ :  checked the limited box but no install.

 

No sneak tools..

 

Chose the vampire recapture and this happens:

 

Character appears in regular clothes and the vampire uses the life drain spell.  

 

Character becomes nude, vampire still draining.

 

Character done up with all (13?) pieces of gear, vampire still draining.

 

Vampire still draining..

 

Character dies.  Ragdoll, reload.

 

Vampire resumes draining.

 

Restarted a few times.  Same result.

 

My guess...  I am not being registered as a slave to the Vampire, despite clicking the limited box in SD+ MCM menu.

 

Thoughts?

 

EDIT:  Just saw the 0.2.0 update, so I updated.  And that fixed it.  Probably just user error and I lucked into the proper plug-in order this time :P

Heads up, gag cut download is missing/downloading results in an error.

  

Anyone else having this problem? I havent changed it in days.

Back after playing around with the new Immerslave 0.2.0 and SD+ 2.04...

 

Inside shipwreck start CTD's for me as soon as all of the popup messages (hdt slaveboots, gag, and blindfold) are acknowledged. Same as before. I've tried disabling everything but body and sexlab mods including all my graphic enhancements (I use a STEP core setup plus body and sexlab mods) but no change. If you want additional details just ask.

 

Outside shipwreck worked fine, Lost in wilderness worked fine.

 

The SD+ starts seem to start funky, the character puts on Immerslave items, seems to take them off and then puts them back on. This process upsets the Master, gaining 2-5 demerits and at one time there was a message that I attacked the Master. This process happened with limited removal checked on and off and SD+ started or not.  Then because of the gag I can't talk with the Master and we end up standing there staring at each other. Occasionally I will get the message after attempting to talk "your Master removes your gag" or something like that but the gag remains on the character.

 

There was also no more kneeling hands behind back animation, instead standing with arms free.  This might be a new SD+ 2.04 behavior, I need to do a non immerslave start and get enslaved to see if this is the case.

 

Finally, if you're taking requests and have absolutely no free time :P, I'd love to see something like a "slave processing station" effectively a linear dungeon run by dweamer automatons that a newly captured slave has to progress from room to room to eventually escape.  Something like first room stripped down, second room washing, then bindings, inspection, obedience training, sexual training, etc...etc...it might finally end with the process slave being transported to an old now abandoned slave auction station and thus can escape fighting or sneaking past the automation guards.

I'll take a look at the SD starts. It was supposed to be better on the SD side but the gag might always be a problem. Thanks for looking into that and the shipwreck stuff.

 

No more kneeling is SD, I have nothing to do with it... it'll be back later. Annoys me, i liked the kneeling, but it had to be taken out for the moment.

 

I doubt I'll be working heavily on a framework or anything beyond the limited aims of this mod. I'll have enough problems staying motivated to keep this updated :D But we'll see.

Can some one please help when i'm in slaved and i go and talk to the owner there's no dialog coming up? I've downloaded all of the Required mods as well.

Tried the warlock start, but didn't get an armbinder equipped properly and SD+ didn't apply any cuffs neither. Other devices got equipped correctly.

Do you have Zenet's Gagquest mod installed? Otherwise the DD Gags prevent any speech afaik.

- Gag no longer equipped for recaptured starts to solve various problems
- Removed boots from shipwreck start, might increase stability
- Removed ownership of all lab stuff from warlock mistress since it doesn't anger her any more and it would be a penalty further down the line
- Added blindfold cutting to gag cutting file
- Added requiem bounty fix (IF YOU HAVE REQUIEM INSTALLED) (downloadable file) for lifetime bounty and etc. getting in the way of blessings at shrines. You've got a bounty but you're not immoral. Blessings still limited by thievery or murder.

Ok, armbinder works now :).

 

Have discovered one more issue with the warlock. At the start, after you chose if you want the hood or a blindfold in the menu she sometimes shocks me once initially. This attack triggered DA bleedout state, and can trigger various DA events then. In my test for example it triggered defeat then, mixing things up somewhat.

I also tested with another start, the bandit start, there no initial bandit attack happens and SD+ enslavement processes as it should.

 

Very nice mod already, thanks. And please bring back a choice for equipping the gag too. With zenet's gag quest this is just a perfect start for a new game then :D

The warlock used to always attack, I changed some faction stuff and she hasn't attacked me since. Could be messed up occasionally or could be some faction relationships changed by a mod you use. But thanks for letting me know.

So far every problem similar to this has been using an older version of LAL. A new version was released 10 days ago, and the statue was changed.

You were correct on both accounts. The version number for Live another life was not shown on nexus so I was still thinking I had the latest version. Thanks that and removing LADL fixed both issues.

New try with new version 0.2.2...

 

Shipwreck start still crashes as soon as I decide which type of blindfold is put on me.  Doesn't matter if I click it right away or wait.  Last four lines of papyrus each time goes like this...

So perhaps for some there are too many slaves with devices on them being set up at once and that causes the game to crash?  The only other thing I can think of is that I am missing a dependency like an object (cages? I have no idea what changes have been made to the original shipwreck).
 
Just out of curiosity I took a look at the shipwreck in the creation kit. I am NOT a modder so I don't know what was expected, but looking at it in the render window I noticed that the slaves in the cages were distorted, their torsos stretched out, one was actually sticking out of the ship.  I also noticed some of them had big red semi transparent boxes with exclamation points around them (missing meshes?).  This might be because the creation kit might not have automatically loaded a dependency. I noticed that the slaves all had cuffs and blindfolds. They also all had the buzzcut hairstyle as well. o.O
