That's really a known problem that occurs every now and then with larger mods.

 

Here is the workaround for it. Works really 100% of the time. At least for me.

 

1. Start a new game.

2. Wait 30 secs, or not at all. It's really just telling Skyrim that you MEAN it. Or so.

3. Quit to menu.

4. Start another new game.

5. Enjoy.

 

The solution proposed by Kimy always work with a 100% security. Is very easy:

 

Start a New Game and wait 30 seconds while the scripts make the initialization.

If you not have Cursed Loot in the MCM exit to the Main Menu without close the the game.

Start a New Game again and surely you go to have the MCM.

 

 

The problem is caused by an interlock in the initialization of the scripts. I examine the code and find a posible solution but must be revised by @Kimy because the initialization of DCUR is gigantic and very complex.

I remove some lines in the function SetVariables of dcur_mcmconfig with a lot of explanations for developers.

I made the change over the code of Deviously Cursed Loot 9.0 Beta 1 but the problem seems to be present in DCUR 8.5 and the posible solution seems to be the same.

I think these characters are linked to DCL: the Imperial guards in Helgen Keep are all female, but they all speak with a male voice.

They're dead, I know, but you can use raise zombie on them, then enslave them with PAHE. At that moment, you hear them talk in a male voice. (I wanted to punish the thieving Imperial Guard by selling her as a slave to Chloe, same for the one in Honeybrew Meadery.)

 

(It is of course a cheat that you can enslave zombies, that become real people.)

Hey is there any way to disable the enemies tying you up and handling to the autorities? cause im getting that thing 9 out of 10 times, and it is getting boring right now, i get this even when i have 0 bounty in the place.

I am running the DCL 9 Beta with about 75 total game mods.  I noticed something odd inn the "Escape Room" quest.   All the equipping of devices and use of furniture went smoothly and the game action there was smooth and prompt.  The weird part was when the rape traps were triggered.  A man  popped in and the characters froze (as they do for the start of a sexlab scene) and  ....  nothing else, they just stand there.  By the time I noticed it would not be playing an animation (maybe 20 sec later) my character could move again and went on with the room quest.  She triggered several more traps and soon the room was getting crowded (6 naked guys looking disappointed).  On a couple of the last rape traps, when my character had on just one or two restraints, the sex animations did play.  So apparently the problem was with finding proper animations when many restraints are worn.  I don't think I have a script lag problem -- like I said all action was prompt and I don't use too many other mods.

 

I liked this quest I think it was a great use for the new furniture devices.

I don't know, I did that minigame countless times (??) and, each time that trap triggered, everything worked properly.

Maybe you have something wrong with your SexLab/DD/DCL settings and/or installation. ??‍♀️

I'm having fairly regular CTD. I have a mod called Whiterun Mansion. The CTD happens in front of the home while walking, running, or horse riding. The last line is always "[Zad]: RepopulateNpcs()." The workaround in game seams to be to avoid a particular area in front of the house. Does anyone have any ideas.

Yes.  Something is wrong there.  I'm using mostly default settings for DD and DCL. I haven't changed any filter settings.  I'll have to focus more on Sexlab settings I suppose, although I was thinking that for DCL (for example; "The Escape Room") the animations were all from the DD5 framework.  I have about 400 animations loaded by SL Animation Loader and maybe that is too many for some situations?

Having a very odd issue with Damsel in Distress.
 

The corset simply doesn't show up. The corset shows equipped in my inventory, but if I go to unequip it, it simply unequips. It doesn't matter if I have the armbinder still on or I'm past that to the point of already having my hands free in the quest. When I put it back on I get the normal DD prompt with it locking on, but again I can just take it right back off.

 

Other corsets seem to work just fine.

I don't think it is related to the number of animations: I have so many that I needed the Animation Limit Crash Fix?

 

Which devices were you wearing? 

I remember that in old versions there was a bug preventing sex animations when wearing certain heavy bondage devices like the chain handcuffs, but I think it was fixed in DD5.

 

It could also be related to the zaz animation filter overriding the DD one, if you have zaz of course. It can be disabled in zaz's mcm settings.

I have the zaz filter turned off (unchecked).  I don't remember exactly which devices.  Several of the encounters that didn't work out started with the "What's this a chastity belt? Lucky I had a key made.." comment.  Hard to say if it got removed since she was also wearing a hobble dress at that time.  As I remember it for the several scenes that didn't play out included at least the hobble dress and a yoke and at least a few more restraints.  For the two scenes that played properly near the end she was wearing an armbinder and collar.

 

Now that I think about it the strange part about it all was that the participants did not revert to the solo animations like they would if no animation was available and the game didn't freeze while some "non-animating time" elapsed.  Instead the scene seemed to be silently interrupted (hence no un-spawning of rapists) and just played on.

Did you try to see if this bug happens on a new game too?

Is there a way to pack up any of the Furniture kits once you’ve dropped them, like say if you accidentally just put your hogtie pole right in front of the door to breeze home? ?

also I’m noticing that even with the chances boosted to the nines, I’m not getting any furniture traps. And the furniture kits tend not to appear once you’ve locked yourself in it. At least for a few seconds.

Furniture traps work fine for me. Maybe try testing them with all other chances set to 0?

Chloe has no special dialogues or abilities after her quest ends and she becomes your follower? And it doesn't matter what I tell the dollmaker to do with her? She always becomes my follower with standart behaviour?

I was hoping for some options similar to Sashas but maybe more submissive by nature. Like when Chloe talked about adventuring in chains together.

I have a problem with the Premium Line Vibrator from Chloes quest. Whenever I try to equip it to some NPC it just disappears. It's neitheer in her nor in my inventory.

Some follower frameworks have multiple inventories. You might be putting it in the wrong inventory.

I only use standart inventory. Other DDs put in them same inventory get equiped without problem.

Can I do anything else than the obvious dialogue options (plunder/kill/rape/follow) with NPCs that got hit by The Dollmaker sword? Maybe sell or store them somewhere?

Did you actually lose them or were they just unequipped? A carry weight debuff of -1000 is normal for all kinds of DD extreme hobble skirts and dresses. I think your clothes should re-apear once you've finished the walk of shame, but I hadn't trigger that for a long time...
