Hey kimy, I'd like to propose a quest idea for you.  (this is going to be a bit long winded so bear with me) I was recently locked into a full set of bondage gear including a straitjacket with legbinder, slave chastity belt (the one that requires 5 body keys), and a full heavy harness (veil, choker, and silencer).  So, I can't see, can't eat or drink potions, can't pick locks, can't fight without getting immediately defeated, can't sell my body for keys, and to top it off, and the cursed plugs inside me bring me to my knees every few minutes.  I'm in a pretty hopeless situation (and loving it btw).  I'm not sure at this point I can actually get out of my restraints, but I try anyway.  I go to a shop keeper for help, and get sent on a bondage adventure.  I get back thinking now the real challenge of getting all the body and head restraint keys begins, but then the shop keeper removes all my restraints including the slave belt and heavy harness.  I wasn't expecting special restraints to be removed and was wondering if you meant for bondage adventure to do that.  But that's another issue, on to my quest idea.  

 

Short version: my idea is a get out of any restraint quest.  Obviously, It would need to be something really punishing.  The first thing that comes to mind is that Leon or Leia unlock you in exchange for becoming their pet, or maybe the doll maker could do it in exchange for semi-permanently dollifying you (lock you in a catsuit, gloves, boots, collar, and open hood) and sending you on errands .  The idea is that this quest would be a last resort that's only marginally better then your current situation. 

Also, wearing restraints that have their own quests like rubber doll, cursed collar, and damsel in distress would prevent you from taking the quest.

Building things several times doesn't help, you only need to do 1 batch build. Same as FNIS, it needs to be run once after your mods are in place or if you change them.

Then it's also possible you have installed the mods wrong way, or that your load order is wrong. DD assets should be loaded before mods that use them. Most of us also use HDT extension and bodytype, but if you correctly built stuff for regular body they should all be visible at least. Just chain restraints would not move at all, but people at SE modding are used to that ? You do install mods with their actual installers in MO? Old fashioned people might go and extract mods manually in folders, and then place them in wrong places. DD archives can't be directly extracted as is, the installer will let you choose either CBBE or UNP files.

I didn't want to post bc i figured someone else had the same problem, but browsing through 50 some odd pages I can't see the same problem. I probably just missed it so if someone could redirect me to a solution that would be great!

 

To preface: i only started modding from this site less than a week ago and prior to it LE was almost entirely unmodded for me, so its definitely not an issue of conflicting/residual versions or anything like that.  I'm using MO (switched from NMM but i think everything from there is deleted). I'm running it along with quite a few other things, but i did try disabling them all to see if that would help and it did nothing. The main thing I think it's messy with is Alternate Start but I'm not 100% if that's the (only) issue. I'm also running LOOT and it doesn't give me any warnings about order or conflicts, and I've also tried running TES5Edit, though honestly i have no idea what i'm looking at when I do.  Finally, the game works fine as long as I'm not doing Chloe's quest from what I've observed, which is why I'm posting here, though i guess that doesn't mean my problem is with my installation/use of this mod necessarily.

 

I'm having an issue where DCL CTDs in Whiterun after picking up Chloe. First it was upon entering the city it would just crash. When i reloaded my earliest save and skipped all the LAL Helgen quests (didn't pick up the adventurers journal or talk to Hadvar) it would let me into the city fine, but now it crashes whenever i open the package from Nazim. Also all the gear in it looks bright purple from the few seconds i see it before it dies, but I'm not sure if that is what it's supposed to look like or it i did something wrong with Bodyslider. I feel like someone has probably had this or a similar problem before and maybe knows how to fix it? Other DD gear equips and shows up fine, and this is a brand new save file so I'm not sure what could be getting in the way. If it's related in any way, I also can't get Chloe to equip DD armor even if i give it to her, but i think i saw someone with that problem here so I'm not asking for help with that, just figured i would mention it in case they are related issues (i don't know how any of this shit works, I'm sorry!!).

 

I'm gonna go now and uninstall all the non-essential stuff to CDL and LAL and start a completely new game and see if it still CTDs, but I'm not too hopeful that will fix it (we'll see). If anyone knows how to fix this or has an idea for what i could try i'd appreciate the help, I have no idea how to do stuff with computers and I have no idea where to find the resources to fix stuff either.

When Leon is finishing up his dialog and telling you that he's handing you over to Leah, he is supposed to be removing all of the obsidian restraints, then adding your new slave collar as the last step. If you click to speed up any of his dialog, there is a pretty good chance that Leah will start adding rules and messing with your outfit before Leon finishes what he is doing, which usually means no collar. If you're extra unlucky, he'll even forget to remove some of the obsidian stuff as well, though Leah might later take that off herself to swap it with something else.

 

Bottom line is once you talk to Leon and choose Leah, just be super patient and let the dialog progress with its own timers. Doing that always avoided any outfit snags from that transition in the dozen or so times I reloaded that whole segment.

 

As a side point, Leon's dialog indicates that Leah is hanging out in the inn and that he'll leave you all locked up for her and let her decide whether to unlock anything. Unfortunately his actions don't match his words there, as he clearly decides to strip you down and swap out your collar before handing you over, and at least for me every time Leah is hanging out in Leon's house. My guess is that this was changed as a last-minute work around to prevent Leah from killing you via remote control the moment she gets control of you because you're too far away.

 

One caveat is it seems like my XDFF is doing stuff that it shouldn't, so I'm not entirely sure what the expected behavior is overall, but for some reason nobody in this forum seems willing to discuss that with me so I've just had to try to understand it through my own experience as a player and a scripter and the scrapings of other people's conversations.

Short version: my idea is a get out of any restraint quest.  Obviously, It would need to be something really punishing.  The first thing that comes to mind is that Leon or Leia unlock you in exchange for becoming their pet, or maybe the doll maker could do it in exchange for semi-permanently dollifying you (lock you in a catsuit, gloves, boots, collar, and open hood) and sending you on errands .  The idea is that this quest would be a last resort that's only marginally better then your current situation. 

Also, wearing restraints that have their own quests like rubber doll, cursed collar, and damsel in distress would prevent you from taking the quest.

Ok, so in thinking about what kind of punishment would fit my "get out of any restraint" quest idea, I though of a few things that might improve the doll maker part of DCL.  First off, give her a few more employees.   A shop guard, a carriage driver, and maybe a few rubber girls that walk around downstar advertising the shop.  The rubber girls are just aesthetic.  I'll explain the uses for the guard and carriage driver later.

 

The Scenario: 

After the indecent with Chloe, the doll maker decided she needed to take a few more precautions with the integrity of her shipments.  The first thing she did was put safe guards on all shipments so that if anyone but the intended recipient opens them, they get a nasty (and kinky) surprise.  The next thing she did was give a bit of motivation to her couriers.  Whenever a courier goes out on assignment, they get locked in a collar similar to the rubber doll collar.  Every few hours (regardless of arousal level), the collar expand.  The key for the collar is inside the shipment.  Couriers must deliver the shipment before they are dollified.  If they are completely dollified, they will have to return to the doll maker who will punish them for late delivery.  This scenario gives rise to a quest with 3 variations:  Tracking down and punishing shipment thieves, Tracking down and punishing couriers that got dollified and couldn't make it back to the shop, and/or becoming a courier yourself.  Oh, and just to be clear, I'm not suggesting you add all 3 quest variants.  That would be a little redundant.  I'm just presenting 3 different approaches to the same quest.

 

The Punishment:

The punishment for a shipment thief or late courier is similar to the rubber commercial quest but with a few twists.  After tracking down a shipment thief or missing courier (who should be completely dollified at this point), the doll maker will have you carry out their punishment.  You will talk to her carriage driver who will take you to a random hold (other than dawnstar).  You then parade the unfortunate thief or courier around town and offer them to passersby to be spanked, groped, raped, and otherwise humiliated.  Once they've learned their lesson and the shop has been thoroughly advertized, return to the carriage driver who will take both of you back to dawnstar to finish up the quest.  

 

In the event that the play is the one late for on a delivery and dollified, a slight change.  First, return to the doll maker to start the quest.  She will send you to a random hold with the shop guard as an escort.  you will then walk around town advertising the shop while being spanked, groped, ext, ext by passersby.  Once you've been thoroughly humiliated, the shop guard and carriage driver take you back to dawnstar where the doll maker lets you out of you're restraints

I forgot HDT Extensions, but I've added them now. I have installed Mod Organizer in a different folder than User/Program Files(x86)/steam etc. Can that be a problem? Just for the record suits make the body invisible, same goes for pony boots and gloves. Corsets and belts are invisible, but the skin underneath can be seen as if nothing is on top of it. Collars all work, same goes for gags and blindfolds. Ankle chains and cuffs work aswell. Armbinders do too.

 

Also the prison does not work. When the warden gives me the first task of licking it just doens't work.

I can confirm that that's the intended behavior. LBA will NOT remove quest devices, but it WILL remove some of DCL's custom-mechanic ones.

I like the idea to have a quest giving you a guaranteed way out of a restraint, but as you said, it should be difficult/work. Not sure if permanent slavery isn't a bit over the top, but I'd be considering a quest idea that lets a player get out of a hopeless situation in exchange for some real effort. I am open to ideas!

Know that one. First I was annoyed, because no one would help. In fact it took a few minutes to realize what had happened to my toon. What about a slave for 24 hours kind of deal.

 

Waiting would be locked and every hour or so something could happen like sex with the person you asked or they may pimp you out, they could alter your restraints to punish you a little more for fun, parade you in a pet suit, turn you into a rubber doll etc then after the 24 hours they will release you as promised.

 

could also ask to stop early in which case you would get restrained fully; maybe a full time lock set. You have go the full 24 hours to earn your freedom

Thought of something simpler.  biggest problem with lots of custom restraints are the chastity belts and the gags, since they hamper your ability to get keys and ask for help.  So do this:

 

1) When locked in a gag, add a dialog option to solicitation that exchanges unlocking the gag for a blow job ("I want your cock in my mouth, but this gag is in the way...")

2) when locked in a Chasity belt, replace all solicitation dialog (except for new gag dialog) with one that exchanges unlocking the belt in exchange for sex ("unlock my pussy and you can have it...")

 

"customer pay morality" or maybe "generous customer" dictates weather they lock you back up once they've had their way with you.

I'm doing the companions quest line.  Just got asked to intimidate the whiterun prison guard as part of the hired muscle quest, and I can not find him.  When in town the quest marker tells me to go to the prison.  When in the prison, the quest marker says to go outside into the town.  Guy just isn't there.  Not sure it he got removed by DCL crime add-on.  I tried using vanilla prisons, I left town, waited a few days, saved, quit to desktop, loaded, waited some more.  Still no guard

I can't remember me making changes to vanilla prisons.

Not something you really need to go out of your way to check.  Might not even be DLC's fault.  hired muscle quest picks a citizen at random for you to beat up.  Just have to reload or skip it using console.

 

Something you should look into though, heavy harness gag and the silencer don't stop you from shouting.  I checked normal gags.  They all work fine.  Just those two

How do you get rid of straitjacket dress? I just wobbled all the way from kynesgrove to windhelm because i figured that blacksmith could help but he couldn't do shit. Oh and btw just got out of jail after 10 days so fuck it i'm done wobbling get me out of this straitjacket dress ?

How does Universal Spanking System  work in this mod? How is it triggered or used?

Has DCL 8.2 changed anything about followers? I'm asking because I have CTDs after 10 seconds when I'm standing near my follower and almos instantly CTD after I change follower's outfit. Had to switch back to 8.0 where this problem doesn't occur.

FWIW, possible bug report

 

Level 2 character (under prompt to level up) was arrested instantly through guard dialogue for getting on a non owned horse.  Dialogue OK, but then got transfered to the grey 'in Limbo' version of Dragonar Prison, still posed as if on the horse, followed by a little 'ting' and then frozen screen CTD

 

1 - I thought events like this weren't to happen till Level 3 - The rest of log shows character is loo low leveled to qualify ... eg @ Line 21967.   Does the LVL 3 limit apply to Arrests and Prison t/fs?

 

2 - As for the CTD, Log attached.  Seems to start going squiff circa Line 22063
