hi i have a problem with cursed collar quest i comlete quest all items removed but i can't wear any armor because i have been shocked and displaying massage thet collar punish me for wearing cloth safe word don't help?????

Hello all,

 

Just a small question. Is there a special way to upgrade from v1.6 to v2.6 ? For example, do I need to do a clean save ? Or Use save cleaner ?

I do recommend a clean safe procedure for this upgrade. Save game cleaners are something I am not convinced whether they do more harm or good.

Another bug, the DCL EC+ compatibility is breaking RND. See EC+ thread for full details and testing

 

As I just posted in the EC thread - I was unable to reproduce this issue on my end. RND continued to work fine after an EC attack.

I put a more detailed post in EC+ and mod list, but all I can assume is that it's another mod that somehow reacts when both DCL and EC+ are working as there's no problem from Chaurus spit. There can't be any other explanation as it's the same on a fresh install

 

It would take too long to track it down by removing each mod, so I'll leave it at that

No idea what happens there, really. All Cursed Loot is doing is calling the EC animations via SexLab and then setting the appropriate parameters for the impregnation. Cursed Loot has no RND integration and references RND absolutely nowhere, so how it should be able to interfere with it is beyond me. In any case, I will likely switch to EC's upcoming trigger mechanism when it's released, so this will likely solve the issue anyway.

Some of you guys were saying the Slave-collar enchant was very overpowered, i'm a little curious if you guys were using it with any custom races or combat/magic overhaul mods, because my experiance with it is the exact opposite.

 

My char was unlucky enough to get that thing put on at level 2, and beeing forgetful i had not remembered to play around with the release criteria, she is now level 21 and still wearing the thing (and i have no idea if i'm even close to getting it off), so i've put in quite a few houers playing with it on, from level nothing to level "the game starts here in earnest" and a bit beyond.

 

I've got no combat overhauls, vanilla race, vanilla spells and weapons, playing on adept, and it has been a rough ride, at no point have i felt overpowered, and i've died quite a bit more than usual. Some of you were reporting beeing able to cast infinately, or having your health regen almost instantly, none of that is happening for me, even after getting the "half-cost" magic perks and taking the lady-stone sign, i am rapidly out of magica and health and it only regens slightly faster than normal, so i cannot rely on that to survive at all.

 

 

With this big a difference in what i'm seeing in game, and what i've seen others report, i'm thinking there's got to be another mod causing this much difference..

 

I have found that the slave collar is about right in power IF you are not min-maxing alot. I have mods set up to increase spawns significantly (2x-3x the number per area) but also have a mod that unlocks multiple companions. So, with a full party of 2 other companions, at level 26, I am having about as much difficulty with doing stuff in the slave collar as my alchemist/archer was having doing stuff in basic armor.

 

I don't have any major combat overhauls, but I do have that one from the nexus that adds all the higher tier bows (currently using a 44ish damage Mammoth Horn Recurve bow).

I very much enjoyed the Cursed Collar quest, thanks for adding it to the mod! 

 

A warning to anyone else who uses the Immersive Settlements mod, though.  You need to disable Immersive Dawnstar.esp and Immersive Dragon Bridge.esp before doing this quest, or a couple of chests needed for the quest will be inaccessible.  It was trivially easy for me to do, so Kimy I'm not asking for the mod to be changed, just letting others know what to do.

Ok, I apologize in advance if this has already been covered in this topic, did not see it if it is.  How exactly do I manage to get the ebonite harness off?  None of the keys I have collected so far work on it, been wearing it for weeks and it really needs to be washed.  Is there a particular quest I'm supposed to start that I've missed or just a special set of keys that I haven't located yet?  Thanks in advance for any advice, I appreciate it.

That depends entirely on which harness it is (there are several using the Ebonite textures/meshes).

 

Regular harnesses (the ones that function as a belt and have a build in collar) need a chastity key to open.

 

Locking and Blocking harnesses (no belt function or collar) use restraint keys.

 

And then there's the quest ones added by Dcur, the HiSec harness which can only be opened by asking a blacksmith for help (there's no key), and the Cursed harness, which you'll have to finish the cursed collar quest to get off (again no key, it's quest triggered).

If you don't mind me asking, what do the cursed plugs do? I ended the quest with them still in my inventory under the highsec belt.

 

I'm not very good at using the creation kit to look this stuff up, but it looks like they use the ordinary zaz plug script, and there doesn't seem to be any other enchantments on it. There isn't a dcur_cursed script for them in Scripts either. Are they just copies of the regular dd soulgem plugs for now?

 

I saw a cursed panelgag in the creation kit, but I got the cursed ballgag during the quest, is that RNG determined, or will that be added later?

There's a flag to always use panel gags.

 

Something to do with one of those weird fetish mods where characters can starve.

Is the "Solicitation:When collared" option implemented yet? It seems to only work for the slave collar.

 

I sat down in front of several male characters in a tavern and tried collars from different mods, DDa/i/x, CD, CL, SD, ect, and only the slave collar from this mod seems to work, the cursed and highsec collars don't give me a dialog option. DD collars, and collars that follow the keyword, don't work either.

 

Edit: actually, now that I think about it, it makes sense that the cursed collar doesn't allow it if the mod doesn't have a way to take off belts people might put on you when you reach that part of the quest

 

Are there any plans to make other punishments from the enchanted restraints? Right now the collar hurts you until you die if you don't take off your clothes, but are there any other ideas being looked at for alternate or additional punishments from magical restraints?

Why, was it moved in a recent version? Are all options found in misc experimental?

For some reason I remembered Solicitation being under the subheading "Slave Collar". (It's been a while since I used this mod)

 

That said, it does say "only while wearing a slave collar"

Bug...

 

I got collared by the slave collar... While wearing it, all my armour ratings are at 0%. For all my armours...

 

I hit FREE ME and my armour jumps to the correct amount, on each item of armour.

 

It's weird, I don't know if it affects my followers armour...

 

 

Bug 2...

 

I get electric shocked when I first load my game, It tells me slaves are not supposed to wear clothes. I am wearing only the collar...

 

I have to load the game again, to stop the effect.

 

It always happens on my first load, the second load always clears it.

 

 

I reported the same effect for the Cursed collar quest...

I got something of a suggestion:

 

You currently have 2 "critical failure" outcomes of Solicitation. How about adding one more? That there's a chance they slap a slave-collar on you, then fuck you anyway, without paying. 

Of course this doesn't work if you already are collared. Which is why, you might make it so that if you are already collared, they might stick one piece of Devious Gear on you, just for "flavour."

It's also a bit in line with the entire theme of the mod.

Bug 1 is a feature. Since the slave collar comes with its own buff, it sets to zero any other piece you might be wearing (which you shouldn't anyway).

 

Bug 2 - hmm, never experienced that during testing. I will have a looksie. Sounds like a load issue to me. Can it be that you have a lot of Papryus-heavy mods in your load order?

I like the idea of DD gear for solicitation failures beyond just chastity belts.  Maybe something like:

 

"I had a bad experience with a biter once." -> puts ring gag on player -> rough Oral animation -> still get paid?

 

Definitely interested in seeing where this goes.  I will also say that in theory I like the idea of getting snitched on to the guards but that in practice it gets kind of tedious in combination with Prison Overhaul.  Maybe an option for when the person getting solicited just calls the guards and they enforce you giving it away for free with possibility of the guard joining in.

 

I also have a question:  How much information is DCL "reading" from Captured Dreams?

I ask because if you could get a value for the CD Dom/Sub level there's a lot of possibilities there.  Like say Dom characters can demand higher prices for solicitation and have a lower chance of triggering the various failure outcomes (including being rejected) while sub characters have a decent chance of not getting paid and/or ending up in a worse situation than when they started

 

I also forget which mod the 'Bondage Enthusiast' perk comes from (in that I don't remember if it's a DCL dependency; might be 'Deviously Helpless') but that seems like a perk that should add a positive modifier to DCL triggers. :D

This is specifically coded in.

 

It's like Dragonhide, but with 50% instead of 80%.

 

Bug 1 is a feature. Since the slave collar comes with its own buff, it sets to zero any other piece you might be wearing (which you shouldn't anyway).
