-when stealing from them, game says i've been reported to guards but nothing happens (no bounty)

 

 

Not sure if it's because i'm still playing with v5.8, but for me the message was that i've been seen robbing a helpless girl, nothing about a report to the guards, though. I was wondering if it maybe has some influence on the chances to get robbed/no help myself when i ask for it. Has that changed or did you maybe confuse something? 

Of course both could be true as well: it's my message but should trigger a bounty anyways.

 

Indeed i got confused, the correct message is the one you just wrote : "you've been seen robbing a helpless girl".

I just assumed the logical followup would be a report to the guards.

I just checked the items and they are all marked with a keyword that should prevent them from getting removed by generic "help me with my restraints" dialogues. Can you remember which dialogue did that?

I think I found out what broke my arrears quest on my first try:

 

I used the debug option to remove a whole bunch of devices that were slowing me down. The debug option claimed to remove devices and terminate quests, yet the hobble dress and collar stayed equipped while the quest was still active in the journal.

 

I assumed it was unaffected by the debug, but I suspect it got secretly crippled.

 

I made a new game, got the quest, and COCed to whiterun origin, and Sarah was just standing right there in the middle of the market!

 

With the heavy bondage kit selected, she balked at following me. After getting zapped, the message saying she'd offer no further resistance didn't last very long. She'd stand still, and then maybe 10 seconds later I'd get a notification that she needed more encouragement. Resting an hour would teleport her with me, however. So I whip-ran-rested us all the way there.

 

I finally got her into the dollmaker's shop, but the dollmaker didn't recognize her presence. I tried quickly COCing into the shop while she was obedient after zapping, and that registered successfully however.

 

Overall, I really like the added content to the dollmaker! I think she's a fantastic addition with a lot of potential... and I love the personality you've given her. Mercurial. I was really wondering if at the end you'd get a real reward, or her idea of a reward instead.

Here i am again, with more Sasha shenanigans :

 

-ankle chains of submission only removable with debug "free me"

-when freeing yourself from dom sasha by stealing the key and trying combinations, you keep the key+number of combination tries for next time you're a sub (= instant freedom)

-when sasha is your keyholder and you get dominated afterwards, when the domination ends the belt+ plug is removed at the same time (only tested by freeing myself by stealing the key!).

-when asking sasha to be keyholder, no vaginal plug appears (but an anal one does)

-when asking sasha to be keyholder, triggers the "trap bait rewards" (pure luck i guess, maybe try to turn up the trap bait chance and test some more)

That's what I do. Will they be only inside the cities, or inside buildings in the cities? Will they be in buildings surrounding on the city exterior, such as farms and stables? Will they be in areas implemented by other mods, like the skooma dens added by Skooma Whore? Currently looking for a girl in Markarth, Whiterun, and Winterhold. I checked all of the Winterhold interiors, besides the Mage's College (surely she can't be in there?) I checked all of the shops in both Markarth and Whiterun, checked the taverns, and checked inside Whiterun's temple of Kynareth.

Yes I hate to say it, but I just had to give up on that one. I guess I am to use to having quest markers.. I am sure it is a fun quest though, but that hobble skirt just made it so laborious i had to give up.

 

   I will surely soon reach a real a really masochistic mood, and go back and try again, but for now I guess I will put it on the back burner of things to do.

I have Batch Built my entire list of every mesh over ten times at this point, and I *STILL* cannot get half of the Dollmaker's items to show up.

 

The Seductive Dress is the one I'm using as a base test line, equipping it, I have NOTHING shown on my character, nothing turns invisible, and It doesn't seem to show up in my Bodyslide after looking through nearly four hundred items.

 

I'm at the end of my rope almost. Is there a file I might be missing with meshes I don't have? Is that what's causing this?

I haven't a clue how to turn fast travel back on during the quest. =/

 

 

you need to check you mod settings - DCUR (I think it's optional settings) lock MCM while restrained, DDE - armbinder settings (effects page), DDI, ZAZ  and any other mod that has armbinder or fast travel settings

you will have to check the individual mods individual pages to check for armbinder and or fast travel settings.

Love the ne AS-LAL start quest. very well written and drops you off having started the standard LAL quest (which a lot do not do). would love to see a few more of them, and maybe an expansion to the current one.

Armbinder issue is already reported but does not affect the quest (as far as I can tell) if you have it off early.

I did not hit the speed bug. 

With devious training the training kicks in exactly as it should . 

Causes a single dialogue option loss if using Sexlab Solutions (you lose the riften entrance guard from Solutions), but not any other Riften Solutions options (as far as I can tell).

Just wanna say, the "Strip-tease Collar" is easily my favorite item added by this mod. Its also the only item I found myself refusing to remove ASAP compared to most other devious things I've gotten myself locked into from careless looting or investigating. It just adds such a fun mechanic and just seems kinda realistic at times that I can't bring myself to remove it. Just wish it came in a "classy-er" look. Just seems to use the basic collar appearance.

 

Maybe in the future... Who knows?

Hi, great mod as always! Must say i'm having a lot of fun with the new update.

 

Here are some bug reports on 6.0 to help further the awesomeness!

 

Arrears quest :

-when failing, yoke is not removed after coming back to dollmaker

 

I had the same issue. I've attached a log, since i got an in game error message from DDi saying log might have more info. (Search for [Zad] (((ERROR))): LookupDeviceType received invalid keyword).

 

During the yoke removal it failed, and then I also got a warning that it is not possible to wear two yokes at once - I found an unequipped armbinder in my inventory, so I assume it tried to equip that.

I have every sympathy with your plight having had numerous problems setting up DD mods since the you-know-what updates.

Unfortunatey such issues with the program that shall not be named are a taboo subject these days.

I am no expert on it but I would suggest using the UNP 7base original body as it's a good fit and the files come with the mod and then doing the batch build around that.

Not sure what you mean, but I have never told off people from mentioning any piece of software by name here, including these that are a requirement for DCL and/or DD. LL is a part of the free world. You can say what you want, as long as you can live with me disagreeing with it.

 

Cursed Loot has used Bodyslide for absolute ages btw. Devious Devices followed much later, but still, people who used DCL for more than a year should be used to Bodyslide by now. One should think.

 

I also don't want to be brutal (and that's a general remark, not aimed at you or anyone else in specific), but from my experience, at least 85% of all problems people have with installing DD/DCL is because they couldn't be bothered to read either the DD/DCL Readme or any of the dozens of step-by-step guides available for Bodyslide. Another 10% is because they thought they needed to use a certain overcomplicated mod manager, they got told that all the cool kids use. The remaining 5% are genuine problems people have with Bodyslide that don't boil down to either of that, but these are really, really rare.

Kinda got the same problem here. If i ask for an alternate i get equipped with the Hobble Dress AND the Ankle Chains of Submission. After that i move out of Town and the Hobble Dress gets removed but the Chains stay. Even if i ask to stop Dominating everything gets removed but the Chains still stay. Not sure what went wrong here...

Just tried out the "Lock menu when tied" button, promptly got trussed up like a turkey (gloves, chastity belt, choker, silencer, veil) and the menu was still accessible. Is this just me or can anyone confirm this?

DD and DCL support BOTH CBBE HDT and UUNP. You can pick whatever body you like best (and they both ship with Bodyslide, you do NOT have to install any extra mod!), just build all assets for the preset of your choice. Rule of thumb: If it came with Bodyslide, DD will support it.

As a general announcement, I think I've found an effective work around to the Leon quest teleport freeze.  The problem seems to be location load related, but I have absolutely no coding knowledge so I can't say for sure.  Save right before talking to the black dude, and if you hit the glitch, load the save and dive in and out of one of the building locations before trying again.  You might also might want to wait an hour, but I don't know if that would actually do anything.
