Don't know if anyone already reported this but there is a huge clipping if u use northern bathhouse mod.

Dollmaker house and quicksilver bathhouse clipping togetther.

It's mentioned in the ReadMe:

I don't think there's a incompatibility between Frostfall and DCL.  Been using FF3 and DCL for awhile now and haven't add any problems.  More likely its the amount of script threads running that kill papyrus.

The incompatibility is unlikely to be of a technical nature. It's just that Cursed Loot causes you to be...scantily dressed at time, and that does not go well together with a mod about hypothermia. biggrin.png

Frostfall 3 is actually smarter than that. It adds Cover and Warmth bonuses to gear that it detects. Several parts of adult gear that occupies supported slots have basic numbers already in. Thus Frostfall does not consider the character completely naked.

This feature will be enhanced with upcoming Frostfall 3.1, where players can set custom values for gear, as far at it occupies the supported body slot. This feature will mostly make the whole discussion about Deviously Cursed Loot and Frostfall compatibility moot; we can just add custom values to items from DCL and be done with it. :)

I can't quite figure out what it is, but there seems to be some incompatibility between Frostfall/Campfire and Deviously Cursed Loot.  There wasn't anything useful in my papyrus log (the game just crashed with no error when loading a save), so I won't bother posting it.  Whether I have Frostfall started up or not, my game crashes on load with Deviously Cursed Loot activated.

I ended up removing Frostfall and Campfire because I would rather use this mod.  Might be worth noting a potential conflict on the downloads page.

Steps to reproduce:

1.  Start a new game with Frostfall and Campfire installed, but without Deviously Cursed Loot installed.

2.  Configure all mods loaded.  Activate Frostfall or don't - makes no difference.

3.  Save and quit.

4.  Install or activate Deviously Cursed Loot.

5.  Load saved game, configure DCL, and save.

6.  Attempt to load the save, either by quitting and restarting or just going to the load menu.

7.  Game inexplicably crashes when loading.  Repeat this step until you are satisfied that there is no explanation for the behavior.

Steps to resolve:

1.  Deactivate or uninstall Frostfall and Campfire.

2.  Start a new game with Deviously Cursed Loot installed and activated.

3.  Save and quit.

4.  Start and load your save.

5.  Everything works.

Conclusion:

Frostfall/Campfire can't coexist with Deviously Cursed Loot.  It isn't the first time that I have had to deactivate them to play Skyrim with the mods that I want to use.

Sorry to blow your theory out of the water but I use frostfal and campfire with cursed loot with no problem at all, all the time, for a long time now...

I'm thinking it's just a matter of how many script-intensive mods I am trying to run.  Frostfall, Hunterborn, Defeat, Death Alternative, FNIS Sexy Move, and Deviously Cursed Loot, to name a few.  I had to deactivate FNIS Sexy Move as well.  I'll try again with Frostfall and Campfire

I am able to run Campfire, Cursed Loot, Death Alternative, Dual Sheath Redux, Furher Lovers Comfort, Frostfall, Hunterborn, SL Aroused, Prison Overhaul + POP, SD+, and several other LL and Nexus mods together. I think comes down to following.

- Resource priorities. If those are not managed in MO left, then you can expect the game to have plenty of troubles.

- Load order exceptions. LOOT does it's work well and gets it almost straight. Few exceptions are well known (for example Real Shelter file positions that LOOT does not yet place correctly.) If those are set and game still misbehaves, then it is time to peak the load order through TES5Edit and see if there are some obvious undocumented problems.

- Processor and processing priority. If computer is working in the background, then game will have troubles as well. OneTweak helps with this, to a point. Closing unwanted background programs will hep the case further.

- Memory management. Using SKSE memory tweak is highly recommended. Also remember that active scripts in crowded cell can crash the game on load. Preloading the game and initializing mod scripts from more empty cell (like ASLAL prison cell) will fix the problem, if Papyrus is otherwise mostly healthy.

- Papyrus stress. Enough is enough. If things above are set, then Papyrus can handle a lot more than peoples give it credit to. However, when it becomes too stressed from mods with active scripts and preloaded libraries (the actual amount of scripts in mods is completely irrelevant), then that's it. There is nothing more to do than re-plan the mod list and start again.

It's not intentional, mind you. But given the sheer number of mods adding buildings to cities it's absolutely impossible to pick a spot that is not used by at least one other mod as well.

You also might want to look at this little gem here: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/56084-crash-fixes/

It eliminated 90% of all Skyrim crashes for me and the remaining 10% tend to at least give you an error message about -why- it crashed.

From my testing, this point does not influence Skyrim stability. I regularly run Blender renders in the background while playing Skyrim, with Blender eating about 80% of my CPU, with no crashes.

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help. I've been running this for awhile now with no problems, then not too long ago I had a crash after devices were equipped, the resulting crash corrupted a few previous saves (was unable to open it with save tool). I started a new save and again after a little time, devices were equipped and the same happened. Opening a save that was working with cursed loot installed would corrupt any new saves as they were made, the only way I could fix this was starting a new game, or uninstalling cursed loot and clean saving the working save. After this reinstalling cursed loot appears to work as I can save again free of corruption, only to have the saves start corrupting again after devices are equipped.

I tried setting cursed loot lower in my load order, and this stopped the crashing after devices equip, but even without a crash the previous save corrupts. I hope I am not bringing up something that has been mentioned many times before or am missing something obvious, I apologise if I have, also this may be related to another mod with devices, but I am completely out of ideas and have no idea where to turn. I love cursed loot and would hate to give it up.

Thank you for any help. :)

Do you have/use TES5Edit and WryeBash in addition to LOOT?  If you don't have WryeBash, get it, install it, and use it to a)create a Bash Patch and B), check your load order plugins for pink boxes -- meaning that pink boxes indicate a problem with master references.  In an perfect world the boxes are all green.  If ANY are pink, click on each and check the contents (on the right side of the WryeBash screen).  You may well have "out of order" masters, not missing but not in the correct order.  If that is the case, load each pink one, moving from top to bottom in the Wrye Bash list, into TES5Edit and sort them (select the plug-in name by left-clicking it, right click and select "Sort Masters"), saving the result.  When all the boxes are green in WryeBash, re-sort your load order using LOOT, make any manual changes to the load order you think appropriate, and start a new game (in my experience making these adjustments mid-game won't have nearly the good effect that you'll see in a new game).

Also in my experience these steps (assuming that you have cleaned all your plug-ins and have a sound foundation for your unmodded game) will minimize the kinds of issues you are describing.  In my case, for example, a good one-third of my plug-ins (always numbering more than 200) had out-of-order masters before I learned of these steps.  Needless to say, my games were always unstable.  Now, particularly after adding Crash Fixes and the SKSE Plugin Preloader, my game is nearly flawlessly stable with more than 230 active plugins including Cursed Loot.

Hope this helps.

Sounds like you are probably hitting the strings limit (Which is unrelated to this mod, though could be triggered by it if you're close enough to the limit already). See https://www.loverslab.com/topic/56588-corrupted-saves/ for more information.

Hi, I'm having some trouble with the "Bound Queen" quest. I can never find the items I'm looking for in the Boss/Ornate chests, even when their spawn rate is 100%. Somehow I got the chastity belt, but in addition there is another error. If i drop the book or place it in a chest and then retrieve it, the quest resets upon my reading it, but I still have the chastity belt. Anybody know what's going on? If someone could just reply with the base IDs of each of the items I bet that would also allow me to progress in the quest... Thanks!

Type "help Sarah" in the console. This will list all item IDs.

Skyrim takes priority in your system, but that is not true for all applications that may run when you are in the game.

This is why I recommended OneTweak. It ads Dynamic Process Priority for Skyrim, so that background applications have less change to interfere. I am also sometimes leaving applications to do something, while I am bashing beasts and bandits around Skyrim.

Preventing vaginal intercourse is the point of a chastity belt. If I added a slider for it, it still would prevent vaginal sex for the time it's worn. If other mods start sex scenes, the DDI filter system is supposed to pick one that works with the belt. Don't ask me about animals, of course. DCL doesn't support them.

Another idea pitch; Although I admit I haven't thought much on the intricacies and more a general item idea

Divine Devices and Corrupted devices.

Aedric devices that usually have beneficial effects that are bestowed upon the followers of the divines.

And corrupted devices that have been twisted by the Daedra and much more devious than a simple cursed item.

When ever you show your faith and pray at the various alters around skyrim you would have a chance to be blessed with the artifacts or become a mere plaything of the daedra.

Can either be stand alone items or some sort of quest. Maybe a radiant quest if you get corrupted devices to purify it.

Maybe some other way to unlock them too; I doubt divine items would open with a normal key lol

As I said I've not thought to much on how powerful or debilitating each would be but more a broad idea and was mostly thinking for having an event proc off of the shrines.

How do I use TES5Edit to look for load order problems?  I'll see if I can find some links.  I already use LOOT, and I have noticed that it sometimes won't move a mod far enough up the load order.

I'll check the resource priority.  Since I have what is basically a top of the line system with a 4GHz processor and 64GB of RAM, I'm not lacking for power.  I can try bumping the priority higher in the task manager.

I do have the SKSE memory tweak and OneTweak already.  Oddly enough, the game was crashing in the ASLAL prison cell when I was testing out which mods were causing me to crash.

So then it's down to either really, really micromanaging my load order or choosing not to run some of the mods that I want to run.

Most important thing is to make educated choices about what mods to install. You can make a surprisingly large number of mods run without issues, but Papyrus still chokes if too many mods run too many scripts at the same time, so badly programmed mods are best left out of your load order. Using LOOT is an absolute must, but since it is not perfect (particularly when LL mods are involved), apply common sense as well. TES5Edit is helpful to detect dependency conflicts - just start it and let it load your entire load order, it will tell you if something's amiss. Mod Organizer - don't buy into the hype about it. It has a really rabid fanbase that tends to tell anyone not using it that they're essentially stupid, but the simple truth is that it is in no shape or fashion required to get a halfway stable Skyrim. You can use whatever mod manager you want, really. What I really recommend using is the Crash Fixes mod I posted the link to on the last page. It's a super awesome piece of software that will greatly help in reducing random crashes.

Actually I noticed that Nexus Mod Manager also helps organize mods now, as it can redflag any mod with missing or out of order requirements. Unsure if its better/worse/equal to the others but Ive been going by that lately more than Loot since it checks the mod files when its loaded so... it seems more accurate.

My best advice for stability though would be not to add or remove any mods when playing the game without either starting a new game, or doing a veeeeery thorough clean save. Ive never had much luck with clean saves though so its sort of like sex and abstinence. You cant catch a case of preggars if you dont have sex, no matter how fun the mod might be if you abstain you severely reduce the risk of things coming back to hurt you later. Sometimes you have to though when a mod updates and fixes some problem you might have been having, and sometimes it doesnt require anything other than uninstalling the old version and reinstalling the new one. But it never hurts to follow some steps for clean saving if you dont want to start a new game all over again no matter what the changes you make.

Oh, and of course read the description of all the mods very carefully, take notes how it interacts with other mods, and follow directions. Thats prolly the most important actually

Seriously, can't emphasize that enough. I am 100% convinced that this is THE single biggest cause of people experiencing corrupted save games. You can not, as in really can NOT expect to change your load order during a playthrough and expect to get away with it. You can add mods at the -bottom- of your load order and -only- there. Do not ever make any changes that changes the position of any mod in the load order and absolutely don't remove anything once it's installed.

Slight addition ; Tainted devices; divine devices with a corruption over time effect.

Same as the rubber collar but while that you have sex to prevent the growth with the divine devices the more you have sex the more corrupted they become.

If the divine radiance of the devices makes the wearer irresistible sex would be hard to avoid.

Need a mcm option for the wearing time of Chasity belt of shame :D(since you can't remove the belt, those animals couldn't play the animation correctly XDD)

What roughly is the default time on the Chastity Belt of Shame?  I can't find it documented or discussed anywhere.  It doesn't need to be exact, but are talking about a day? 10? 30?  If the Slut and Slave collars are any indication, it may be a bit longer than I'd prefer (I usually dial those down as the default values are way too disruptive to my game, as DCL is just one facet to make my game more challanging and interesting, but not the sole focus of gameplay).

Update: Answered my own question --  I think I found it in the source scripts.  If I'm right, the number is very reasonable per my criteria.

Request: Can we have an option on the Event parameters page so that Rubber Suit doesn't progress to Armbinder if left alone? I really love the rubber suit -- the random attacks, the slits in it to make for easy use, though I would prefer the gas mask that came with the assets to the rubber hood. But the fact that it progresses to armbinder means I can't just leave it on and accept my new second skin. x3

Just a light request.

One more little problem to report - Under "Combat Attacks" having the "Surrender on Disarm" option un-checked does NOT prevent you from surrendering on being disarmed. It's happened to my character several times now; she gets disarmed (but still has plenty of health) and off she goes to one of the possible outcomes (for me, usually Simple Slavery). In some cases there is a delay before the "you are beaten unconscious" message appears,  and she's actually killed her attacker with her bare hands - but she still gets beaten unconscious anyway.

BUG REPORT

I ran into a couple of problems with the Bondage Adventure quest the other day.

First, I was wearing a standard Yoke at the time. It was not removed, but when I did finally get it off, I found a partially equipped Inescapable Armbinder in my inventory. It wasn't visible on my character, nor was it applying any of the usual armbinder effects, but was marked as equipped in inventory. Attempting to unequip it caused it to finish equipping. So, only a minor problem here and easy to fix.

The second issue is more serious. I was sent on my little adventure from the dialog option while I was talking to a wandering hunter. When I got back to the quest marker, it was visible and still pointing to the location where I got the quest, but the hunter was nowhere to be found. Since this was a randomly spawned npc rather than a specific character, I assume that the instance that I needed had been disposed.

Is there a way to detect these generic npcs and have them say, "go see my friend who will free you", and then launch the non-specific target version of the quest?
