unmog Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 I'm not sure if this is a bug but I was enslaved by SD+ and held at Faldar's Tooth by bandits. When I would use the solicitation option from CUrsed Loot on bandits (to raise gold for my master ) occasionally the bandit would say that he would report me to the guards. It seems strange to me that bandits would threaten to report me for offering sex. As far as I can tell, the report did nothing or maybe the guards were slain trying to get into the bandit fort but it still didn't feel right. (or maybe I mean it didn't feel wrong) It's a case of "Okay, I don't think I accounted for this when I wrote that code." Because normally you can't speak to hostiles. I think the slavery mods are the only ones that actually let you do that. Oh well, I will fix it. I had the same thing happen to factions like the theives guild, and the companions. In the case of the thieves guild... well its just silly and immersive breaking. In the case of the companions at least there IS guards right outside, but it reported me to some mysterious companion guard who doesnt exist. 1. The cursed collar you mean? If thats the case you need to read that letter that also appears in your inventory and head to that new destination on your map that should be added if you click the quest in your log. In case for whatever reason the letter was lost or some bug prevented it from being added to your inventory, the name of the letter is [Andratos' Letter] About the Collar. You can use the help command in the console to find it's ID and add one to your inventory if you need to, for me its xx010028, xx being of course dependant on where the mod is in your load order.

I had to reload a save a few times, because I found that I kept getting one of the arm bindings cut off by a sharp object before it was ready, which would screw up the whole sequence. So eventually I couldn't get the suit off because, even though I showed no restraints left on the hands/arms, there was something there preventing suit removal. I finally figured out that if I could see a leftover device in the inventory that had already been removed (but not removed from inventory), something was screwy and I had to go back. I don't have any other mods that allow cutting off of devices. But otherwise I found this quest to be just the right amount of challenge/frustration. It was like I could almost feel the characters building need to be free. With a needs mod and frostfall, there were a few iffy moments. I really enjoyed it, thanks! One thing I thought about during the quest was what if there was a version of it with no belt/plugs and a crotchless version of the suit? So basically same scenario, but the character would be free to use for anyone/thing that felt like it.

I kind of figured that being general about the quests would imply that all of them would probably require explanation to me (yeah, it's that bad, I really feel stupid, though not any more than before). On the subject of what you said, however: That, presumably, helps a lot. I had no idea I was supposed to be looking for such a thing. Thank you very much. The next time something like this triggers I will look for a letter or such and if I do not have it, I'll assume I have some conflict or such and try to work it out.

On the chance for cursed loot modifiers for arousal, how exactly do they interact with base and / or modified (container) loot chance (is it a weighted average of the arousal 'number' and the base chance, arousal + base, or something like the greater of the two)? Player and follower 'themes' settings don't seem to be respected - for example when I select red ebonite, I consistently get black restrictive gloves, black restrictive boots, black rubber ballet boots and gloves (even with rubber suit off), and black corsets when there are red ebonite gloves, boots, and corsets. Not sure what else I need to change so that I only get red ebonite items in slots where red ebonite items exist, as well as which option to disable to avoid getting the rubber ballet boots and gloves (outside items I know I can control such as high security items or the special collars). Plugs - are there any settings for plugs that I am missing as it seems every time I get a belt, I get plugged. I'd love to find an option to enable / disable being plugged on a belt event. Gloves / cuffs being locked behind back during an NPC comment action - I've had an occasion where I had both cuffs and gloves on, and had multiple NPC actions locking both the items behind back. I also had this happen when in a yoke with gloves, the NPC comment action was to lock the gloves behind back, leaving my character's arms bouncing back and forth between the yoke and behind the back. Wish list stuff: Option to modify chance for loot and keys based on number of items worn, such that wearing more than one restraint might increase or decrease chance of finding additional restraints - same for keys (more items worn = more or less chance for finding keys) - maybe the same for NPC comments and actions. Option to rank / set order for progressive bondage - such that starting with no restraints, the first occurrence of cursed loot would add arm and leg cuffs, the next occurrence would add collar and corset, the next occurrence would add gloves and boots, ect ect. Basically, I'd like to be able to direct which slots are filled in which order - so my character's restrictions progresses from mildly inconvenienced to totally hobbled rather than sometimes inconvenienced and sometimes totally hobbled based on randomness.

If you go into console and type player.showinventory it will show everything even if it doesn't appear in your normal inventory. With a tentacle attack you'll see an item called parasite which is shown as worn to get rid of it type player.removeitem xxxxxxxx (where xxxxxxxx is the hex number of the item). If you try the player.showinventory hopefully it'll show the piece of the machine that's still attached

cleversheep Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I feel that my followers are getting away rather lightly compared to the poor Dragonborn. They only seem to get restraints during the normal device events, and are ignored when any of the special devices trigger. Obviously it doesn't make sense for the same to happen to them, but it would be nice if they were hit with normal restraints. Similarly, after a flashbang they are never bound even when the player is. Love the mod, though! Particularly the custom quests, really add something to the DD experience.

They will generally both go away if you don't skip through the animation sequence. If the sequence is too long, I think it can be adjusted in the MCM for Estrus. On a different note, I am not able to figure out how to be released from the Arcadia living armor. It there a key or just a condition that must be satisfied?
DBade Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 As do the Slave Rubber Gloves as they appear on normal cursed loot events, even if you have Rubber Suit is disabled. That's not technically a bug - there simply is no MCM setting for them. Oh that must be why I cannot seem to figure out how to keep from getting hit with the gloves or the rubber ballet boots. I thought maybe I had missed an option somewhere. I hope this gets added to the options in the next release, until then I guess I'll use the older version. Also - it seems the MCM settings for consistent themes is not being used for the new NPC comment events as I get hit with items like white leather when I have red ebonite set. And I also figured out (I think) that the newest DD Expansion items are not resigstered to the appropriate themes - such as the new white and red restrictive corests, posture collars, restrictive gloves and such don't show up when red / white are selected for consistent themes, only the older standard black corsets and gloves show up.

Cursed Loot 4.4 doesn't yet drop the new 1.2.1 DDx items at all. They were introduced when 4.4 was already feature frozen. They will be added in the next patch.

After that you can get full set from your chest in your home.(triggering dd cursed loot from any chest with dd inside)

Bane_Master added a fix for the parasite which checks to remove it at the end of the animation, so it may need something similar for the machine. Sorry Kimy if this is a bit OT

Also, some purple something attached itself to my followers back, permanent-like (i think that was from Estrus Chaurus, but might be mistaken). The only solution I found was to uninstall Estrus. Tbh I don't really like Estrus as an effect, it is just a passive scene with no consequences. Since Estrus made a lot of errors in my papyrus log too, I decided to not reinstall it again. As for the collars, you need to check the DCL MCM when you don't have any devices on you. You will find 2 of the special collar removal requirements there. dont know if the answer im looking for is anywhere in the thread but i cant seem to get all the options in mcm to work... the escape option dont bring anything up or the event parameter ... its all blank You can access those pages only if you don't have any devices equipped.
big tim Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 I am sorry if I missed it but still having trouble with the slave gloves people put on you and they lock the 2 hands together. I have never been able to get them off and always have to use the safeword to get out of them. I would rather not use the safeword but have no choice. Please help!!!! Thanks in advance. Also wondering if anyone is having issues running Cursed Loot comments and More Devious Quest mods comments together? Even when setting both sliders to 0, I still get comments or unwanted scenes at the wrong time which interfere with a quest. Thanks again.

I had foolishly forced nekidness all the time and running Frostfall so when some the quests pointed far north...it got very very interesting. Awesome work!

It certainly adds a good bit of bondage to the game! Any ideas as to what is going on here? Sorry I'm quite noob at these things, but I'm currently taking a look at your papyrus logs. Will update when I finish checking over them. Update: I'm seeing a lot of [Zad] near the end, what is that? That might be the problem. A lot of "Assigning none to ... " Yeah, I was looking at them as well, trying to figure out why it was happening. I saw those, I think it's just something Zaz Animation Pack does. Not sure why, though. Yeah, I have them too. Definitely not the cause of the crash then. Try new game and see if it still crashes after you save it and reload it after restarting Skyrim, or use save game cleaner with highest clean settings. Also, I still have the problem with cursed slave boots. They just won't remove, even with the Debug function of Skyrim Cursed Loot. Especially the ending was WOW nice work .... but: Your romoval manager did to good of a job: not only did it hinder other mods from removing your cursed stuff .... no it did hinder your own quest to do so too! After i switched him off i was able to get them off 1 by 1 with the safeword exept for the cursed arm cuffs. Pls how to get ridd off them?

Yea it should be fixed next update. Im having the opposite problem, I set the chance to find something sharp to 0 so it didnt bug the quest and now I cant seem to get the leather bindings cut. Kimmy if you see this, any chance to change that so instead of relying on RNG you can just find a knife or sword to get free? Or that we could ask someone else to cut them for us even. That would be way better. Related question, can anyone give me a console code I could input to force whatever event is supposed to happen that cuts the bindings? >.> Oh and the release option doesnt take off the collar... and even when released I cant use a key to remove the collar cuz it thinks my hands are still bound.

Remember that Brynjolf is running a racket with the gate guards and the whole of the guards is pretty much puppeteered by Maven Black-Briar. Reporting someone to the guards is a pretty good way for them to get rid of someone making a nuisance out of themselves and fishing for more attention than they are due

monsta88 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I'm not sure if this was reported before: At the start of DiD, I used the bed in the cage to sleep. I got a Dangerous night attack, a Bandit appeared in the cage. When he left, he did his usual add more restraints stuff, which broke the DiD, because he could sucessfully add some regular restraints.
