I managed to find the dungeon and go through it, but the cursed slave harness was not removed and was neither removable by MCM safeword nor by console command. Well, the console command claimed it removed it, but it was still there and still locked.

 

 

I will check into the harness issue. I will rework this and the other harnesses in Cursed Loot anyway. That it doesn't show up is a DDI feature-bug, because the device hider is hiding the armor blocking harnesses by default.

 

Will it make a difference in the meantime if I reload a pre-harness save and try again or would that lead to the same result?

Fun with Solicitation:

Apparently them having another go no matter if I want it or not, restarts the payment dialog.

Maybe a bit of a bug: When I finished the slave collar quest the Solicitation convo option dissapeared despite being set to always be available in the MCM menu. It was available before the quest just fine.

Kimy, I'm getting a pretty bad error during the DiD quest;

Every time the game saves, via normal saves or the auto-save when going into the inventory, it crashes to desktop.

I can provide a log, if you wish.

I do love the DiD quest, btw. It certainly adds a good bit of bondage to the game!

Well, worked my way through a DiD quest run. Curious, though, if mine's not playing right. I notice some people mention escaping a cage or cell. My own version just tied me up where I was standing. Was I supposed to poof off to captivity somewhere?

Is there any chance btw Cursed collar could be tied to Damsel in Distress?

 

Either have to go around and equip all the DiD stuff untill you're all wrapped up, or have a % chance that when doing the end of the Cursed collar that sheogorath still isn't done having fun and the ending "gift" isn't just some random dd items, but a trip to the random cage in a rubber package!

 

Also wouldn't mind a few extra layers for DiD neither, rubber socks could be another layer that needs to be removed, the small rubber gloves could be another layer beneath the long rubber gloves, cloth blindfold as an extra layer over the ebonite blindfold, posture collar over the regular collar ... ^-^

 

Or a new type of collar, one that belongs to some npc (Maven black briar or someone sinister like that ... she'd totally be into this stuff :P ) and the way to get it off is do things for her.

Not complying or failing at what the npc asked you to do leads to more items being added on you, fail too many times and she dumps you in DiD style bondage gear in the middle of town, to be used as anyone sees fit untill you can wriggle free of your armbinder and get out to collect keys and free yourself.

 

And people say that I am supposedly evil. Needless to say that I like the suggestion! :P

 

Same goes for the extra items. I guess I could squeeze them in.

 

The 3rd suggestion - something like that is already in the making. :)

Few style thoughts: The added layers of bondage was a surprise indeed, though with the gags, I think you need to reorder them. Panel > Ball > Ring makes sense, but I saw Panel > Ring > Ball instead.

 

Second note: I don't know if you could get it to work, but I wonder if you could dovetail this with Defeat to turn DiD into a 'Death Alternative' scenario? Beaten down, knocked unconscious, and truly wake up in all those restraints?

 

Third note: Just thought I'd list a few breakages that occured with my playtest of the DiD scenario.

-Got a 'sharp object' event on the metal shackles. Disconnected them, allowed inventory access and combat, still unremovable. Unable to use to get the removal prompt.

-Tried removing metal shackles at blacksmith. Similar results to above.

-Got forced [Deviously Helpless] into a set of normal leather arm cuffs while in shackles, prevented attachment of DID cuffs while they were in place, stalled quest until I put on the DiD cuffs myself. Also, DiD cuffs attached even with a negative response to the prompt about wearing them [Evil designer?]

Hey Kimy,

i might just figured out a bug, but it might be a problem by my game, let´s see.

 

I just play around a bit with some items, the mod adds and find out a problem with the yokes. If the PC equip one, or got one equiped by the mod through an event or an npc afterwards, it is not worn ingame. PC wears it in the inventory, but the "animation" isn´t shown.

 

--> happend with "Heavy Yoke" for me

 

First i thought, a FNIS problem, forget to run, etc. but it isn´t.

Second thought, my installed idle animation might break it, but it isn´t.

 

Now i need some help to see that wonderful animation again. With previously version of your mod the yokes works without problems. :(

Hey Kimmy I was wondering if you could maybe expand some of the slave set items? Like, maybe a chastity bra to go with the belt for instance. Or some of those cuffs that take multiple keys to remove like in the DiD scenerio. Maybe we could use the corset from the restrictive items too for at least the high security set, maybe even the rubber set even though it clips a bit. I wouldnt mind seeing some shocky ballet boots, or a set of the restrictive gloves that worked like the rubber ones do seeing as those actually have cuffs on them. Maybe have some shocky gloves that zap you if you wield a weapon? Im still hoping for mittens that prevent you from equipping one but that would be close no? Could have an option that they give your unarmed attack some shock damage, who knows :P

 

Lastly, we're currently sort of skimp on blindfolds really. Maybe you could add a high security blindfold to the mix, and some other variants on blindfolds. Of course blindfolds can be hit or miss, so you could always have a toggle for the blindfolds like you do the armbinders if you decided that was best. Id be interested to see what sort of new twists you could bring to the blindfolds though if you were interested in expanding them. Maybe could even have a magic one that gives life or death sight so you can see shapes of people but not much else. Or maybe they could give some of the wierd vision filters that Ive seen skooma whore use. Otherwise, you think its possible that you could implement an option that if you mastered your gag talk you could still talk in a slave gag? It seems a fair idea to me~

 

Also Kimmy, one last thing, a question. Which slot does the rubber suit equip to? id like to configure DD's devices underneathe so that the rubber suit hides the nipple piercings and chastity bra but I cant seem to figure it out. I asked before but you never answered. If anyone knows how to set that up though I'd appreciate it.

I have the city percentage down to 0.4%, but I keep getting zapped left and right in the Jarl's Quarters in Dragonsreach. Is this area classified correctly?

I got DD error messages a few times by now, usually when a container wants to add several devices. Some of them will not show up.

 

Also, just now I suddenly "found" shock boots while on the way out of a dungeon I had already looted. Being restrained completely out of the blue is not what I would have expected. Also, how do I get rid of the shock boots???? Nothing seems to work.

It uses the standard ones -

32 Body

34 Forearms

38 Calves

 

Thus it uses the standard clothing/armour slot hider.

That happens when you upgraded to 4.4 on an existing savegame that already had an older version installed. You can clean that savegame to make this error go away (was discussed in this thread a few pages ago).

The ball gag is last, yes, and that's the way I designed it. I'd be curious how you'd stuff a ball gag into your mouth when already wearing a ring gag. oO

The sharp object dialogue working on DiD items is a bug that will go poof in 4.5. :)

Sounds like an outdated DD installation to me. Are you sure you have the -newest- versions of all DD mods, including Integration and Assets?

As for the blindfolds, yes, I am using them -very- sparingly, because most people hate them. It's very hard to write mechanics for them without making them either trivial or a complete showstopper. I do like the idea of using screen effects for them, though. Maybe I can find one that doesn't make people dizzy within a few seconds. Some of the effects Skooma Whore is using make me seasick. :s

If you're getting DD error messages, chances are that you need to upgrade at least some of the DD framework mods. Check if you have the newest version of everything Cursed Loot needs. :)

The traps should have a chance to trigger events when you trigger the traps normally, rather than manually. So when you miss the bear traps and walk over them you get punished, rather than when you willingly click on them.

Due to the way Bethesda programmed traps in Skyrim, I can't do this without making some fairly invasive changes to vanilla assets, which I am not too keen doing. There is a mod around which places DD traps manually, but I think it got abandoned by its author a while ago, unfortunately.

Two thoughts as of the most recent version of this mod:

 

1) I like the 'Devious Comment' feature but kind of wish that it wasn't timed at all but rather just simply random on a per conversation basis.  Being able to be set from 0% (disabled) to 100% (all of Skyrim is out to get you).

 

2) I thought of something that might simplify the key interface within the MCM.  What if instead of individualized percents for many of the different key types the user was simply prompted for 'Chance to find key(s)' [%], 'Find Keys only when restrained' [Yes/No]  and then a 'Find Key(s) you need' with this being a weighted slider so that of the keys that you find what percent of them will be immediately relevant to the item(s) that you're wearing.  Could have two versions of that setup.  One for "common" keys (chastity, restraint, piercing) and one for rare items/items unique to this mod.  The idea behind this is similar to when all the different events got condensed into one "equation".

Actually I had the same suggestion earlier. The problem is if you had a ring gag in your mouth, you would DEFINITELY see the ball gag in your mouth too if it was behind it. The model though makes it seem like theres only the ring gag, thus the ball gag HAS to come first cuz thats the only thing that could be blocking you from seeing the ring gag, not vice versa. I understand the way you designed it but the assets have limitations. For your own sanity though just imagine the ring gag is behind the ball gag instead of in front of it, or maybe the ball gags strap runs through the ring gag. Or whatever rationale floats your boat. But the way it is now it looks really odd that you have your mouth open and empty with a ring in it, and then when you take it out suddenly a ball gag in there. Not to mention that the ring gag allows for oral sex, so how would you have oral sex if there was a ball gag behind it? Plus the ring gag is the "less" restrictive out of all the gags since it doesnt block you from eating, so it makes sense that way too that it comes off last. But its not just me and Adorable that mentioned this, there was at least like three other people who posted the same suggestion, so I urge you to at least consider it :) Honestly it makes much more sense to have the ball gag first, much less questions would be asked than how it is now~

Yay~ And yea I know a lot of people hate them, but I don't know if thats the "majority". And plus like I said, you could simply add an option to include blindfolds or not... wait, dont you ALREADY have an option for "include blindfolds?" If they have it checked, then they "consent" to getting hit with special blindfolds too since they can simply turn off blindfolds from the MCM menu. Maybe the default can be set to off if it makes people happy? Is it already set to off? I always have it on, but I myself would like the choice. :) And I like the blindfolds myself, plus the devious devices has options for how dark/clear the blindfolds are anyway so its all customizable~ The high security restraints and stuff really seem out of place without a blindfold to me.

Thats odd cuz I tried adding the piercings and chastity bra to DD's item hider... maybe theres something wrong with my item hider then... or I dont know how to turn it on~ @.@

I do realize that the visuals displayed don't quite line up with how you'd actually appear in this case. But this is one of the "pick the lesser of two evils" situations: The alternative to the slight visual immersion breaker you (correctly) pointed out is to make the character wear restraints in a way that's completely impossible (try wearing a ring gag behind a ball gag stuffed inside your mouth...it won't work, really). I opted to go with the visual issue rather. Btw. the DiD ring gag does not allow oral sex for that exact reason - there is a ball gag inside your mouth, still! To be honest, wearing a ring and a ball gag at the same time is pushing realism anyway. But I went for it anyway, for the fun and to give you more stuff to unlock. ;)

To be honest - this isn't the only time I went with gameplay mechanics rather than sticking with correct visuals. My hood has zippers when none are displayed in game. The catsuit has locks when none are visible in the actual model you're wearing. And so on. Baseline is that I cannot do 3D work, and even if I could, this would just be a whole LOT of work to avoid what I personally consider fairly small issues.

Mmmmmmm i can't seem to Solcitation successful anymore  :blush: I have success set to 85 percent, but with critical failure set very high, because i think that is exiting - but i tried like twenty times, they either refuse or refuse with consequence all the time. 

 

 

So i wonder do i have bad luck with RNG, does something affect outcome that i miss, or is my game having problem? I did not see any Papyrus error from DCL...

There are some nice modified animations in, especially the shame animation is cool. The poor PC tries to cover her assets there, but two hands are not enough when you are fully nude.

 

This animation should fit well into solitication scenarios, the PC strips hesitantly, but is shy and tries to cover. Some customers might like it and find it sweet, while others will get annoyed and use restraints to aovid the covering. Would add a nice touch in roleplaying the poor prostitute who only does it for the money but is very shy and hesitant :)

Unless it changed in the new Devious Quests animation this one is a bit different. In the stripped animation the PC switches from trying to cover her boobs, pussy and ass while in DQ it's only trying to cover boobs and pussy.

 

Bahow wrote in his thread that he is no animator, but somehow he made these variances for his mod. If this is what you mean with finding out how to make use of FNIS assets, making your own animation modifications, then if you are only half as good with this as with modding we might get totally awe-struck :shy:

So I think I ran into a little bug with the Cursed Collar Quest. I had to pick up the arm cuffs, legs cuffs and slave boots at Karthspire. Every time the arcane chest would disappear after I took the items out, and the next one would be invisible and inaccessible. But if I saved and reloaded the inventory screen of the next arcane chest would immediately pop up and everything worked fine, except for the chest going invisible again.

 

Everything seems to work fine besides this.

I do love the DiD quest, btw. It certainly adds a good bit of bondage to the game!
