Method to get someone's ID without having to ask for it each time:

 

1. Load an earlier save where you can see your target.

2. Open console and click on the target (at this point you can already see and write down the ID if you wish to, but you don't even need to, because-->)

Is it true that starting the Bound in Skyrim quest effectively disables cursed loot? Finishing a Bound in Skyrim sub quest always directly starts the next one, so in the Cursed Loot debug menu "Active Quest Running" is always true and as I understand it, that prevents cursed loot events from happening. Is there a way to pause the quest line? I know I can cancel it, but I want to be able to continue playing it later.

in this line in some points where quests are active but still active quest running is false. So in that period you can take break from quest line.

And yes it's block most of loot events.

Once you finish with all the Chloe quests you can chill and not start the next one.  After the Dollmaker is finished with you and gives you the pass to the Whip & Chain Inn in Riverwood, you're free from the questline's restrictions until you start the Bound Queen.  And when thats done you can wait to return to the Inn until you feel like it, to start the final quest in the arc.

Was caught last night by a guard and was punished with the yoke of shame ?? How long is the timer on it? Spent 2 ingame days (sleeping at nighttime) and still locked.

 

And out of curiosity - is the mod still being worked on? DCL 10.0?

There is anticheat system by sleep. Timer stop when you sleep. Use wait instead of sleep.

I am not seeing this feature in the mcm, was it removed?

This feature never was in MCM. Only in Combat surrender section you can set that NPC randomly surrender if hp are low.

Alright, so my stupid question of the day is : I've been sleeping for 10 in-game days at least (that's only the time I spent only sleeping - it was on before that and I played for a while before being tired because it is the one thing I cannot remove in any way) waiting for the timer to end on a Chastity Belt of Shame, so...is it glitched? Do I still have to wait? Am I missing something?

 

I have not gotten any message to open it, I can't open or force it, obviously, I can't talk to the guards to open it, I can't talk to anyone else to open it. I wish to avoid using the safeword function if possible, but is it the only solution here?

That's the method I'd use myself but when people ask a question like that they usually don't want an answer involving "learn to use a new tool", even if xEdit is not that complicated to work with

Alright, I will preface by saying that I am having a blast and I finally enjoy all of this mod's potential. Huge thanks to all of its devs, this mod is an absolute marvel!

 

Now, two questions arose during my current playthrough:

- I have activated "enemy surrender" - with the slaver portall in mind - but quite often I just cannot talk to the surrendering NPC (usually bandits). They get healed, they are not attacking, but I can't talk to them. They just stand there. However, so far it only happened when facing >1 enemy and having several simultaneous surrenders, might it be what makes the function glitch?

 

- Another one (but this one I think I understand): if you are already wearing a restraint catsuit, is it normal that high-security straightjacket traps don't work? It happened to me twice already, I was wearing several restraints including a catsuit, and got a trap where it said "You have been locked in a high-security straightjacket!". But I wasn't actually locked, and could unequip it for free from my inventory.

Correct. Best way is use Dollmaker's magic Touch of control and hope that your follower not hit her.

Catsuit are in the same slot as jacket so it fails equip.

My Chloe quest apparently bugged, didn't even get far. I'm supposed to search the bandit bosses chest at white river watch, but the quest stage doesn't get done by looting it nor does Chloe offer any quest related chat options

Can I use console to jump over this stage and if so, to which stage should I try jumping?

You need keys to unlock the Devices. Restraint Keys for nearly everything, Chastity keys for the chaste stuff.

Cursed Loot has some special keys (head, hand, body, and legs) - but the popup should tell you which ones you need with special devices. And of course there are some quest devices that you cannot unlock yourself, but those quests have a journal entry.

It's a good idea to modify the MCM before getting bound, because the default is to lock the menu as soon as you're wearing one device.

 

If finding keys is too cumbersome, you might want to install additional mods like DD Helpers or DD Escape Overhaul
