Deviously Cursed Loot LE 9.0 (2021-03-09)

Had another idea for some new devious devices.  Having the option in the MCM for having the chance to find magically locked nipple piercings with the vibrate effect "instead of chastity bras" would be cool.  It would require the same amount of devious keys to unlock.  Additionally, having the option of finding a magically locked vaginal soul gem with the vibrate effect "instead of a chastity belt" would be really nice.  The nipple piercings and vaginal soul gem are better because you can still see everything ?!  It's the same concept in which that area wouldn't be covered/blocked but you would still need the same amount of keys as the belt to unlock ?.  Thoughts?

You were right.  I forgot about the tamper proof traps selection option.  Was never really sure what that did but that must be for all the trip wires and pressure plate traps that are already in the game without being added by any mods.  Sorry I didn't see that earlier ?.  What do you guys think of the other ideas I proposed though?

That's things that is the standard with Unforgiving Devices. Plugs in that mod can be very powerful and hard to remove. But best part is you can customize that mod to your heart's content. Something too easy? Make it harder. Too hard? Make easier...

The butt plugs you can find don't vibrate, they inflate.  I don't like those. I meant the option to find a cursed vaginal gem that isn't hidden by a devious belt.  It would be locked on with a magic curse or something ?.  I don't like how the chastity belt hides and blocks your character down there.

If that's your main concern, the visibility, you could use the Device Hider to hide the chastity belts. Even when you're naked, set it that wearing a ring or necklace hides the belt - or if it doesn't break it, make the Belt hide itself. ?

Yes, I know that's not what you're looking for, but that would be my low-tech workaround ?

Hi everyone, just wanted to ask if there is a new version of DCL in the works to integrate with DD 5.2? If so is there a soft target as to when this may come about, current progress? Oh and if the current version of DCL is compatible with DD 5.2? Thanks!

The current version is compatible with DD 5.2.

Only when you upgrade be sure, that you haven't locked on you items.

As i after upgrade load old save (Damsel in distress) somehow all items  was broken.

I now play with DD 5.2 some time and no see visible bugs.

The beta for the next DCL version hasn't started yet, but it is planned. There is no ETA. In the meantime, DCL 9.0 works with DD 5.2 as Elsidia says.

I've noticed that in Deviously Enchanted Chests you are able to choose which type of estrus attacks can occur via % through a menu in the MCM.  That would be a nice feature to add to a future version of DCL if you release a future version of this mod ?!  Take care and goodnight.

I really love this mod, but am having trouble with rape functionality. Sexlab animations are working just fine, and my character gets accosted by NPCs in cities, but when they approach her to start the scene the rapist or rapists will surround her, then stand still not doing anything. I lose control of the character for a bit, then regain the ability to move. For about another minute I can't activate anything or access in game menus, then the NPC rapists simply disappear and the game returns to normal. Any idea as to what could be causing this? I've checked my load order and can't see anything that looks like it would be out of order

Hello all, im stuck on the supply and demand quest, specifically the portion where i have to pick up the 15 pieces of garbage in riften, i have searched all over and even reloaded but cannot seem to find anything to pick up, can anyone help?

You might have some kind of Riften overhaul mod messing with the terrain so garbage objects aren't visible? Try turning off the clipping mode with console command (TCL) and then fly around Riften town tiny bit below the ground. Do you see the blue piles then?

 

@MirthandCruelty Would it work if you limit the number of max assaulters to 1? I don't know if Matchmaker mod could be misbehaving or not, i'm not using that in any case. But i'm not aware of any known thing that could cause what you are seeing. Just script lag?

The only cities overhaul i have is open cities skyrim.  what is the command to turn off clipping mode?  I can try that.

I don't use that mod but I believe it is totally incompatible with that quest because you're not in the same Riften as in the vanilla game.

You can try running this open cities patcher on DCL. No idea if it will fix that quest or not. As naps said, that quest is not going to be compatible with open cities because open cities moved the world space and the quest is still putting the dirt in the old world space. Anyway, this worked well enough for mme, might work for dcl. i never tried this quest while i had open cities.

In general, "Open cities" is probably the most incompatible mod that ever existed in terms of mods that add quests or locations. It really isn't recommened to alter the entire world completely when playing a modded game

I think DCL has it in MCM too. It's default value is 0.

My character has the Obsidian piercings equipped and I cannot remove them. I read through the topics here and it was mentioned to console Kimy's Key (player.additem) but even with it in my inventory clicking on the piercings doesn't bring up the Unlock option. I consoled a different piece of Obsidian armor and equipped it to see if the Unlock option would appear for it with Kimy's Key in my inventory but it defaults to the same dead end choices.  Clicking the key does nothing. Free Me does nothing. The person in the Riverwood building won't mess with me since I have unlockable stuff equipped.

Any suggestions?

Went back to the Whip & Chain Inn in Riverwood to do some shopping and all the vendors have empty inventory. I didn't check the bartender, just the girls selling equipment. Any ideas what might have caused this? Any suggestions how to fix it?

Maybe script lag. Have you been there before with this char? I had the same problem (with another mod) that the inventory of the shopkeeper was empty, and she had only vanilla dialogue. Went outdoors again, autosave, exit to desktop. Resume and re-entering the shop worked. Best guess to try just that.

I have enjoyed Deviously Cursed Loot for most of the 10 years I have played Skyrim LE. However, I have had a setback that currently makes it unplayable for me. In all likelihood it's my own fault, and I hope you or someone reading this can help me.

 

I bought and, with much difficulty, installed Skyrim SE. I bought the GOG version 1.6.659.0.8, which many mods do not yet work for. Consequently, I will continue to enjoy the LE version. However, during my struggles to install SSE, I had to redownload and reinstall the mod several times. One of those times, I somehow deleted Skyrim LE. Fortunately, I had significant backups, and after struggling nearly a week to reinstall LE, got it working. Mostly. But not Deviously Cursed Loot. At least, not like before. If I install it along with my other mods, then save and reload, I get a CTD. The only way I can avoid this is to not install a number of other mods, including Get Stripped, Bimbos of Skyrim. and Dealing with (Sexual) Daedra. Additionally, I have to use an earlier version of Babo Dialogue (4.31 rather than 5.00) and SL Approach Redux (2.02 rather than 2.75). I'm convinced the problem I'm having getting DCL to work is my own because previously I played it alongside Get Stripped just fine. Among other things, I've tried putting DCL at different places in my load order, but have failed to get it to work.

 

I hope someone will be kind enough to help me work through this. As I've said, I've been struggling with it for days.
