It happened 3 times in a row, once with a kid, once with a guard saying something and once with the town drunk saying something. Not sure if it's something new you've put in on your indialogue conditionals or if it's something else causing this but it's getting old fast I'm going to put myself out of range and then tfc near a dog and see if the same thing happens during an NPC encounter. I'll let you know what I figure out, IF I can figure this out lol

I'll let you know what I figure out, IF I can figure this out lol Not something I've seen in testing. The dialogue bug fix simply prevents new engagements while the dialogue menu is open. So that shouldn't be it. There are two things that can interrupt sex triggered by this mod: the creature being hit by something or the creature changing combat state to anything other than not-in-combat. The combat state check is in there but, so far as I can tell, does not trigger during SL animations at all. The hit event is the most likely cause. If you turn on Debug in the SLAC MCM you should see a message about the engagement being interrupted when it happens. If you have another mod that casts a cloak ability on NPCs and has not toggled off the hit event for the magic effect in CK then that could trigger the dismount. I'll see about making the OnHit event optional in the bug fix so those seeing problems like this can turn it off (I'll include the combat state check under the same condition just to be sure).

If you set Mod Active to off and Debug to on you should see a regular notification of [slac] Inactive Tick (20sec) and no other messages. If you continue to get other SLAC notifications with the mod deactivated then something has gone wrong with the installation and I can only recommend uninstalling, making a clean save following the instructions in the description, and reinstalling. Sorry you're having this trouble. Hopefully we can clear it up.

First off though, loving the new changes and with crouch enabled and crawling animations it's almost as if you were playing LoversBitch. Anyway. So, I'm at 100 arousal and head to my horse to offload some goods, horse is at 100 too. Decided to test out this new crouch thing, noticing no action from the horse until i crouch which is good. Anyway, crouch, horse jumps me. Okie doke. Suddenly Ingjerd who's my groupmate right now catches up to me, not sure if she was crouching, but mid-action horse apparently decides fuck this shit, and jumps Ingjerd instead. And I'm like, wat? I have prefer PC over NPC enabled, but apparently that's not good enough for some creatures! Also my creature animations got reset for some reason - or rather, one creature animation I had disabled was suddenly toggled on. Maybe not related to the update but hey, kind of a coincidence.
Oldwolf58 Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Ok the debug info states that the animation, and I kept at it untill ALL the available dog animations had tried to fire at least once, was interupted by a hit on the dog. There was NO hit, no one close by in a couple of cases so I've uninstalled the new version and am going to play a bit. Get well away from any creatures and indoors. Then I'll reinstall and see if the problem reappears or not. footnote: If I force animal sex using the SexLab animal sex hotkey the dog has sex with my character without a problem.

That's interesting. What was your cooldown set to? Have you been able to repeat the effect? I haven't been able to reproduce this yet myself but I suspect it might be interference from another mod. What I think happened in your case is that a cloak cast on Ingjerd triggered the OnHit animation cancel and the SLAC cloak fired at the same moment. So the PC was still technically engaged in an animation and the horse picked Ingjerd as the next available victim. That's dependant on your cooldown being zero, though. The animation getting toggled is not going to be from this mod.

Yeah, I'm going to have to set the OnHit detection to off by default, filtering the hit sources and types is going to have to wait for a later release - there are just too many possible variations. Wish I knew what mod was causing this. I'll push a bug fix later tonight or tomorrow depending on how testing goes. If anyone is seeing any other issues, now is the time to share.

Sailing Rebel Posted July 7, 2014 Author Posted July 7, 2014 Here's the plan on fixing the unexpected OnHit interrupts: the OnHit will only force the animation to end if the creature's health has dropped by more than 1.0 point since the beginning of the engagement OR the attacker is the player. This should allow non-aggressive cloak spells to hit without effect and still allow the punishment-crop-wielding dominatrix-PC to dissuade her horny followers from trying to take advantage of the local pets and livestock. I'll still be setting the On Hit Interrupt to off by default in the MCM.

If we are looking at the date on the Nexus page I think that might be misleading. Similar to the way LL works, changes to the description appear to be registered as updates even if the downloads remain unchanged. Having a dig in the SkyUI GitHub it hasn't seen updates to the scripts in a year or more. Definitely doesn't look like there are any incoming versions. Anyway, I'll be sure to remove the ski script this time.

Ingjerd, me, horse arousal 100, Ingjerd in vicinity - she gets jumped every time. If I crouch before it triggers, it's my turn but after first animation sequence the horse switches to Ingjerd if she has enough arousal. It doesn't just cut off animation and leave my PC to act as if it's still running. It puts my clothes on and everything as if it's all done. So, I leave Ingjerd behind waiting far away, grab horse and test some more. Arousal 100 on both. Crouch, horse quits a second into the first animation every time. Disable NPC's. Tweak settings to 10 on horse and me, set arousal higher with SL Aroused. I'm stuck a second into the animation and can't quickload so console load instead. Wait a minute or two, test the above again. Stuck again, opening menu and trying to load through that has Load grayed out. Hmmm. I'm standing next to the corpses of one of those wandering dogs and there or four dead skeevers. Maybe that's it. Move to Markarth stables. Cooldown 0, arousal 10/10 for both actors involved. NPC disabled. Let arousal raise naturally for PC. Vigilance jumps first, animation plays fine. Then one of the two Markarth stable horses. No longer locking up, which I think was the corpses probably - with latest SL treating corpses as sort of dead or something? - but animation quits a second into first sequence. What the hell. Just horses. So reset SL animation registry - same thing. Quit, run FNIS again because you never know - no change. I'm guessing considering how dogs, and likely everything except horses work that it's a conflict with Convenient Horses? Only horse mod I use.

[slac] Horse engagement interrupted by hit. Whah? Not sure why it only applies to horses. Will the upcoming version let the user toggle the On hit setting?

I've been waiting for a mod like this for a loooooong time, it reminds me Lovers Bitch back from Oblivion, but compatible with any animal. Has anyone made something like this for PEOPLE in addition to creatures? That would be pretty hot too, what with the configurable arousal levels. I would make a suggestion, but I can't think of anything to add, unless you make a presenting animation like Bitch had. This is one pretty damn good mod.
