I'm having trouble with the Enforcer mod. I have it installed with the latest alpha release, but it doesn't seem to do anything. I see the messages that it does, ie, enforcement in effect, etc. But it doesn't strip NPCs, and nothing happens if I put clothes on. I'm not seeing the MCM menu show up, either. Am I doing something wrong here?

If you have the latest release of Slaverun, you don't need the separate Enforcer file - it has been integrated into the mod. If you have the Enforcer file also, it might be that the two files are fighting each other to do the same thing.

Does the enforcer thing strip the player automatically when she enters the whiterun area, or is it just a warning?

It's not integrated - the separate slaverunEnforcer.esp/bsa is included alongside slaverun.

may I ask what exactly I should do to get the dialogue appear? :(  :(

According to the posts by Heromaster on the previous page, talk to the Jarl in Whiterun before activating the mod.

Yes. Integrated was the wrong word; included is more accurate. The point is that you don't have to download the addon separately any more.

The enforcer just warns the player if she is not in compliance; it does not strip her. It does create a force greet from guards who will arrest her.

Hm so that means if you are unlucky you'll get arrested right away because someone saw you right when you entered the zone?

How are the warning messages from Enforcer suppose to trigger?

So far entering and leaving building gets the Player is free or under nudity law no problem. I think I have seen the warning about player is covering asset once, but never able to reproduce it again.

There's also a message that pops up when a guard saw PC wearing clothing.

If you're not naked, yes.

Sounds like it's working right. If you left the city and got far enough away that you received the "free from nudity laws" message, when you go back you will need to enter a building to get those messages working again. For some reason the front gate won't trigger them.

The nudity law message works ok in and out of buildings.

But I think I got one message about PC was wearing armor when walking out of Dragonsearch I try to reproduce it by walking in and out of Jorrvaskr wearing different pieces of armor but can't seem to get a warning message about if the PC is covered or not anymore.

Was I seeing things or does that message only trigger once?xblink.png.pagespeed.ic.jZ-_dA-Dno.png

The message triggers once when you have at least one piece of armor/clothing that will cause you to be reported, remove that armor/clothing and you will get the other message. Switching between armor/clothing after getting the message will not trigger it again.

Major update coming as soon as I finish testing. Lots of new options to precisely control everything the mod does so any parts you don't like you can disable. Plus of course I have fixed the "front gate" problem.

Ok got the messages to work consistently, not sure was it just Skyrim bugging out or I was equipped with something that I never thought would consider "body"

Apparently one of the item that enable HDT physics is a body item xwacko.png.pagespeed.ic.99t1mQqZE7.png gloves, head, and boots are usually ok to wear without getting into trouble with the guards.

According to the posts by Heromaster on the previous page, talk to the Jarl in Whiterun before activating the mod.

I'm having this lack of dialogue problem too. Other than the guy at the gate inside Whiterun, there's no dialogue options for anyone else. Well, except for the stuff added by SD+ and TDF prostitution. Could one of those be causing issues? If not, could someone (and pardon my language and tone) please be more goddamn detailed about what the fuck 'talking to the Jarl' means.

Do I have to finish the Dragonstone quest and kill the dragon and then talk to him? Because I just tried delivering the message from Riverwood and then started this up, and still no dialogue. Tried each of the gate guys dialogue options to see if anything would happen, and nope. Still nothing for anyone.

And after this, my game decided to be a pain in the ass and loaded black screens, froze a time or two, and at one point, SKSE stopped friggin working, so I'm at my wit's end trying to figure this shit out. Seriously, 'talk to the Jarl'. I have no clue how that piece of advice led to that huge clusterfuck I ended up with. Took me friggin 30 minutes to get everything working correctly again.

This mod looks pretty interesting, but it's being way more frustrating then it's worth so far, so if anyone can explain, in DETAIL, what I should be doing before starting this up, I would GREATLY appreciate it!!

Here is what I did, and I was able to go through the entire thing.

I entered Whiterun from riverwood and peacefully gave up my clothes and items. Then I went to dragonsreach and stood naked and self conscious while that letch balgruff and his creepy minion farangar told me about bleak falls.

Upon exiting Whiterun, I was unable to get my gear because I had no money and was not about to blow the asshole holding my stuff. So I put on the armor balgruff gave me, scavenged some more gear from dead bandits, and went to bleak falls. Upon my return I took off everything before entering the city so I wouldn't have to get it stored again and turned the dragon stone in. Then the dragon attacked the tower so we killed it.

In my haste to get the news to balgruff, I completely forgot to remove my stuff and was arrested after becoming a thane, despite my protests. After 2 days of pillory shame, I was released. However, I decided to rp that they enslaved me instead, so I initiated a conversation with Brutus. I chose the "please don't hurt me" dialogue this time and got sent to the slave pen.

The rest of the slave quest went smoothly from there except near the end when some sort of graphic error made parts of the screen stretch and kept me from killing the slave master in his sleep.

Will this gate fix allow an old save to work?

Any chance (in all your spare time ;) ) an option to deactivate the mod can be added to the MCM so I don't have to cause system instability by uninstalling it?

Yes, it has that option.

Yes, it has that option.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your intent; that option does not seem to be available at this time. Did you mean that option can be added?

I think I'm just going to give up on trying this mod until there's an update. Only Brutus has ANY dialogue and after he finishes speaking and walks away, he doesn't have anymore after that.  Couldn't even get my stuff back from the guy outside the city by the chest without stealing the key. Disappointing, cause this looked interesting, but can't interact with anyone except the normal NPCS and the new merchant. I had tried talking to the Jarl before installing the mod, but that didn't do anything, dialogue was still missing.

It doesn't help to talk to the Jarl before *installing* the mod. Install the mod, go to Whiterun, Choose the "I don't want any trouble, here's my stuff option" the first time you meet Brutus, go talk to the jarl, then go back to Brutus and choose "you were saying?" That will bring up the options again. Choose the "please don't hurt me" dialogue to begin enslavement.
