I have a problem. After I get sent to dragonsreach, the Jarl sends me to the dungeons. The map marker takes me to Jarrvaskr, takes me back out, and then leads me to Swen outside the city gates. He's standing next to an empty chest with no other dialogue choice to progress. Anyone having this problem? How can I fix it?

Sounds like you have a mod that has messed with the navmesh for Whiterun.  I know the mod that added some missing things to Skyforge, that it's early versions had defective navmeshes that sent everyone through Jorvaskrr to get from one side of the city to the other.  Sounds like you have that mod or one that does a similar thing.

 

There is a dungeon entrance right inside Dragonsreach, those stairs leading down in the main hall next to the Yarl's raised dias lead right there.  I honestly haven't tried going back to the main entrance and seeing where the map markers go from there.

 

Edit --- Did another run though, the markers come up correctly for me. 

 

Do you have any other mods that are altering Dragonsreach or the Dragonsreach Dungeon?   (Dark Investigations mod would directly conflict with this mod but it's premise is so opposite of this mod they should never be used together).

Hey, thanks for the quick response! I don't think I have any mods other than this one that changes anything in Whiterun.. I know where the entrance is, but there's nothing I can really do to interact with anyone inside.

 

Running straight to the main entrance outside Whiterun just leads me to Swen with the quest marker pointed right at him.

 

Starting a completely new save gives the the exact same results.

 

I've tried installing the different slaverun versions in different orders, no go. 

 

Is there some kind of setstage command in the console that can just skip the whole Swen part and take me straight to the dungeon?

The mod is working fine for me so it should be possible to get it going for you too and the others having the same problem if we can just figure out what is causing that problem.

 

After getting sent to the dungeon you should find a new room at the opposite end from the interior entrance from Dragonsreach and that room should contain a slave on a rack, two additional cells with a troll (not the cell in the main are with a troll and a slave in it) in one cell and a falmer in the other plus a NPC named Fang? sitting on a chair between the doors to those cells. The quest mark should be pointing to him.

 

When you go to the dungeon after being sent there, what are you seeing?

Ah now I feel stupid.. Thanks for your time with trying to help me figure this out.

 

So apparently I missed the room you showed in the screenie. Fang was there and it gave me the option to talk to him. It's just the markers weren't guiding me to the right spot.

 

Now I'm having a problem where it says something like stage 1 complete, stage 2 starting, and I can't move at all. But I think I've seen people post about this on this topic, and I think there should be a solid solution to it.

 

Thanks again for your time, I'll update this post when I get everything working properly.

I've disabled pretty much all the mods I had except the requirements, gave slaverun highest priority in Mod Organizer, but I can't get it to work right.

 

I walk into Whiterun, the guard talks to me, I get the "Boys, get her!" dialogue and.... nothing. He just goes back to standing against a wall. I can't talk to him, or any of the new characters (I get "need something?").

 

Help?

am i the only one nothing happening with zaid?

Try installing the old version first. That should activate the quest before you walk into whiterun.

Once you get the popup that the quest starts, save it, install the new version and you should be good to go.

 

 

Alright so I'm stuck again. When I approach Fang, I just get stuck, and I have to manually remove the ai control and walk to the punishment cross. Stage 2 ends and stage 3 starts. Can't figure out what to do next. I tried breaking into a cell and doing 3 scenes with the troll and nothing happens. Or I could be blind and I'm missing something again.. I'm pretty sure I've talked to everyone this time.

The latest version seems to only work fully if it is started from a new game.

 

Brutus force greet works, but zeid will not have dialog if it is from an existing save.

 

Enforcer patch does what it says it will, great, although the scenes are non-aggressive which sort of makes sense, but aggressive also makes sense.

This is one of the times I wish Sexlab would have an in between option...

I have confirmed this a new game works perfectly for me. I have gone back to old saves to try and remedy this tried save cleaner etc.. Tried console commands etcc.. still nothing. The only way is a new character, which makes this mod useless for me for I have too much time invested in current character. I will try a few more things and move on. One mod is not going to change the gaming world.

Seems like I'm not the only 1 here.

State 2 Start = Can't move.

However, it is easily fixed when my char. got a chance to talk to Fang, she had sex with Fang & she can move again, but the mod won't progress. Can somebody just show me the quest stages & the commands to get there?

 

The mods I have that alter Whiterun are

Live Another Life (which weren't used)

Climates of Skyrim (climate mod, impossible when it comes to alter navmesh)

Populated Cities

Run for your lives

 

I don't think any of these mods conflict with anything.

Also, the quest marker pointed to Swen, the guy outside. My char. didn't talk to him, she tried but the only option is "What?"

 

I got the mod to work by installing the .10 version, play it, save it, quit & install the new 1 then play the save.

Started a new game. I do have Art of Magicka, which does make a change to drangonsreach (for reference), haven't yet tried WaxenFigure's mod. Here's what I've noticed so far:

 

-as someone already posted, the "Get her boys" response from Brutus doesn't progress, he just goes back to leaning on the wall(edit: explained)

-the "changed my mind, you're going to be a slave" (paraphrased) Brutus response sends me to Zaid. And all of that seems to work as far as I've gotten with it...

-first visit to the Jarl works, sent to see Fang

-punishment for failure from Fang: after I go to the Xcross and take position, then I "fall off" Fang whips me, but on 2 of 3 times through this the quest gets stuck, Fang goes back to his chair and character is frozen (fyi npc slaves all over town "fall off" zaz furniture regularly, into a short "kneeling stagger" then resume position)

-sent back to Fang for further training, there was a quest-marker issue, but, even when I reloaded and ignored the marker, going to Fang instead, he was already outside the dungeon, on the path. Dialog/forcegreet would initiate, and he would go back inside but pc would be stuck on the path unable to move

 

That's as far as I got so far, hope some of it's helpful. I'll try without AoM (don't really use it much anyway) and the new Enforcer mod today.

The "Boy's get Her!" dialogue IS a dead end right now. Pick the "please don't hurt me option" if you want to try out the slavery bits.

Do me a favor, if a couple of you with the displaced quest marker problem and a couple with the player doesn't move to the Xcross on her own and get punished problem will zip up a savegame taken just before you talk to the Yarl and then upload it.

 

I will try to use those savegames to find out what you might have in common and if possible reproduce the problem and of course figure out a fix. I think it might be much easier to do that from a position where the problem exists than from where everything is working nicely.

perhaps do so with minimal other mods running so Wax doesn't have to try to match your 250 mods. ;)

Well I fixed all of my problems by starting a completely new game with alternate start "live another life"

I couldn't get it to work with a saved game, or a vanilla new game start.

So I was harassed by a guard and robbed. I was told to speak to zaid, and he has no dialogue. Eric is standing in front of him and he also has no dialogue.

 

Something minor, but there's a slave inside his table, 

 

 

 

 

 

and some of the slaves that appear female actually have male dialogue.

 

 

 

 

I was brought here by xpo when I was outside of whiterun.

 

I reloaded to before I got "enslaved" and the dialogue from a guard initiated again. This time I chose the "...nothing is going to happen to me.." option, and got the "get her boys" dialogue, with nothing happening after that.

 

 

 

So far, it's a pretty neat mod, but perhaps you could add some dialogue to the slaves that will give you a clue to where Zaid is, and maybe what things are like. Some of the dialogue is raunchy and not very lore friendly, so maybe someone would be willing to make a more lore-friendly version?

 

 

Anyway, if there's any insight to my issue let me know.

Well this save was already created before I installed Slaverun. That's probably why I was having the problems. I fixed it by installing Anternate Start: Live Another Life, and starting a completely new game. 

I'll upload the save anyways, and maybe you can do something with it so that we don't have to start new games for this anymore.

 

This save takes place after you're done with the Jarl, so talk to him, get sent to the dungeon, and it "should" lead you outside Whiterun, or have Fang freeze in place with you if you go to him instead.

LOL - you have 175 mods installed that I don't have and even cut down for running this project I've already got 205 mods myself.

 

Nevertheless, I'll keep playing with it and or the mods you have that I don't to see if I can reproduce the problem.
